Bullied BFF
Lexy kept pace with Abi but just barely for the first few blocks. The pace limited conversation. And that was okay with Lexy. She couldn't understand how she had misjudged Mark so much. She knew he was a flirt, but she had thought since he had come to the rescue of Abi when she needed it that he would be a supportive sort. But the conversation they had just gone through had a bitter thread running through it. His words were harsh at best and showed an insensitivity that Lexy had rarely seen.
She hoped Abi could say the same.
