Chapter 12: Fateful Encounter

Hagoromo Clan Compound

Inside of the clan's Ancestral Hall, one could see 10 individuals standing in a line while Oden and the 3 elders stood in front of them.

"You all are the next generation of our clan, and many of you are inexperienced and have not gone to the battlefield or seen the cruelty of wars. This mission will give you that and more as you will understand the reasons we fight and why we sacrifice ourselves for this family. Some of you may not return. But know this, even if you don't return, your name shall never be forgotten. Is that understood."

"Yes Chief!!" they all proudly proclaimed.

"Good luck, all of you." Oden finished with that statement as Adrian led them out of the Clan Compound.

"Be careful Adrian." Oden silently whispered to himself

The group of ten, led by Adrian, moved at high speeds through the trees in the forest to make their way to the Uchiha Clan Compound.

As they were moving Kain suddenly spoke to Adrian.

"Is it you first time leaving the compoound." he asked.

"Yeah." Adrian responded.

"Did you make all your preparations for the mission." asked Kain.

"Yeah, we've had a month to be prepared so if I wasn't by this point then I didn't deserve to go the mission."

The two then continued to talk to each other, and the other members followed. The group descended into a comfortable atmosphere until Adrian stopped his conversation and spoke.

"Stop."

The clan members then immediately went on guard for whoever then enemy was and saw someone flicker directly in front of them, making them all tense.

However they eased when they saw the Uchiha emblem the shinobi wore.

"Are you the people Lord Hagoromo sent?" asked the Uchiha.

"Yes we are." Adrian responded.

The man said nothing else and simply started running in a certain direction.

"Follow him." Adrian instructed his clan members as he took off after the man with his companions following suit.

They all stayed alert and silent in their every movement in case this was a trap.

After following the man for around 15 minutes, they finally arrived at the gates to the home of the Uchiha clan.

After entering they were all stunned by the size of the clan.

"Just look at how large this Compound is, it has to house at least 5,000 clansmen." Kain said.

Hearing this, Adrian couldn't help but lament the fate of the Uchiha Clan.

Their future patriarch was deceived by Black Zetsu and wanted to put everyone in an illusion. One of their future members was tricked by Madara and wanted to make a dream world for him and his beloved. Two other members were brainwashed by Hiruzen into sacrificing their all into the village, with one being killed by the best friend of Hiruzen, and the other killing his entire clan simply becasue he viewed it as the best for the village.

Thinking about it now, perhaps Tobirama was right. The Uchiha Clan really does have a cursed bloodline.

While lamenting over the Uchiha Clan's fate they moved to the Uchiha Clan's reception hall, where they were greeted by Tajima Uchiha.

"So you're the brats that Oden sent this time to assist us with the mission." said Tajima.

The man emanated a silent pressure that amplified itself every time he spoke.

"Yes Lord Tajima we will be the ones assisting the Uchiha on this mission." Adrian spoke.

Tajima seemingly squinted his eyes on the young man before saying "So your Oden's son huh, seems he has a good heir. Go and rest, the mission starts tomorrow at dawn."

Some members of the Uchiha clan then proceeded to lead them to their rooms, while Adrian decided to explore the Uchiha's Compound.

While wandering around their compound, he saw two individuals training with each other on the training ground.

He saw both figures moving at extremely high speeds and using Fire Style ninjutsu along with shurikenjutsu skillfully. Just when he moved closer to the grounds, both figures turned towards him with their kunai's up.

"Who are you?" questioned the larger of the two who seemed around his age.

"I'm Adrian, leader of the Hagoromo clan members who came to assist with the joint mission, and you two are?" Adrian asked.

The two then lowered their weapons, and as the older one grumbled, the younger responded with a smile.

"I'm Izuna and this is my older brother Madara."

Hearing this Adrian was stunned.
