CHAPTER-27 MOMENTUM RELEASE

Kai followed Ema to the garden near research building. Since the skill she was going to teach is not an attack type but moment base so they don't need to go to an arena.

Ema stopped in the middle of the garden release her Martial Soul as a pair of green wings appear on her back and eight cyan color soul rings appear.

"The skill I am going to teach is called Momentum Release, not many agility system soul wielder know about this still do you know why?" Ema proudly said.

Kai shook his head, as a crown prince he have learn under many teachers which also include agility system elites but none of them have ever teach him this skill.

"Because this skill is not only about speed but also about power, with your previous Martial Soul you might not even able to learn it but now might work".

Ema took a flight and stop ten meters above the ground "look closely" she said and next second a small boom sounded and she was already more then hundred meters away from where she was.

Kai had placed a keen eye but he was still not able to understand how this have happened, he just show her wings flapped once and she was gone.

Ema didn't stopped there another small boom sounded as wind drifted away from the placed and she was already in her previous location, she did the same thing three more times and then stopped.

"Did you understand something" she asked while retreating her Martial Soul.

Kai nodded "if I am not wrong then teacher have first build up momentum inside her body and used it pushed the wind around her body which in return sent you in opposite direction".

"Great observation, you are right about everything except for one, the thing I used to pushed my body is not wind but space. Of course your level only allow you to used basic things as the base like ground, water and wind but true elites who are close to the level of saint can even use the power of space. Of course I am not at the level of saint so I can't truly use that element but I can still gain small benefit from them".

Ema thoroughly explain and teach him about the skill and Kai understand everything about it but not because he is just talented but because he have saw a similar skill since his childhood. His father had become famous with an skill call momentum punch which is quit similar to momentum release but it was an attack type skill where this is a moment type skill.

After listening about the skill Kai was eager to practice it but before that he need to get ready for the class. He was absence for three days so need to catch up with the class as quickly as possible.

After getting ready he and Tony headed to the class. He didn't yet tell him about his second awakening as he was rather in a rush to first cover up the studies he missed.

"Bro you know since you have enter the deep cultivation you look different than usual" Tony.

"Different? In which way?" Kai quickly asked, he knows that he have changed but he was still not sure what are the changes.

"It is difficult to say exactly how but I think you become stronger, or if say more specifically than you look more mature than before" Tony's family cultivate in the way of physical strength so he is more sensitive to the changes in body then normal people.

There was nothing unusual in the class and everything went smoothly. After the class Kai led his group outside the school to show them his new martial soul.

As soon as he released his Martial Soul, both Tony and Ria are left stunned.

"How the heck this happen tell me bro tell me, I will do anything for you and I will not tell anyone your secret" Tony quickly started to plead.

"Stop it Tony, there is no secret I was just absorbing a soul bone and this happened. The soul bone disappear and my martial soul evolved" Kai told them about it and they were left even more astonished.

Many soul wielder absorb soul bones but evolving because of it is such too much unbelievable.

"Top tier torso soul bone, I need to find a top tier torso soul bone. Bro if this method really worked then our whole clan will owe you" Tony.

"Don't think too much, it can only be happened if goddess of luck would be head over the heels for you" Ria said with a bitter smile, she knew if it were so simple then there would have been at least half a dozen top tier martial soul in their empire.

"Well put that aside do you guys remember what teacher Nana told us about soul art, if we can open our first soul lock then even top tiear Martial Soul will not have much advantage" Sera.

"Well it still depend on which soul art you are talking about because only strong soul art can give you the edge again top tier Martial Soul and everyone with such a martial soul cultivate strong soul art themselves" Kai said with a chuckle, he is clearly in high sky by this evolution.

"What do you want to tell about my frost skin, is not that strong enough" Sera said with a confident look.

Soul arts are different from normal soul techniques as it is actually a composition of numbers of different techniques and can affect the soul wielder as a whole. Soul art have lock and by opening those soul lock the cultivator get the access of special abilities.

Kai is currently cultivating Jade Body soul art which is a secret soul art of their family. It let their body become like jade, immune to ice, fire and poison.

Soul art have their requirements which need to be fill before you can open their soul locks. For a typical soul wielder even if they has decent talent for a high class soul art, opening the first soul lock before reaching the four ring cultivation is very difficult.

Of course students of impirial academy are much better than those typical soul wielders. There have been plenty of soul wielders who have been able to open their first soul lock before rank forty.

Kai test few of his abilities then four of them went to mission center to accept some missions. The mission they pick is a team task, and they need to hunt down a metal stinger of at least fifty years of cultivation. The reason it is a team task despite they only need to kill a single mid class soul beast is because metal stingers lives in groups and even killing a single one required a team so some members can deal with target while others distract the soul beast group.
