CHAPTER-26 MYRIAD SPIRIT DRAGON
After that one roar everything calm down, Kai subconsciously retreat his Martial Soul and remain in the meditation state as his body adopt the new changes that his second awakening bring.
"Sister Mary you should go back to your work, I will look after him" Ema proposed with out most respect.
Mary give a wry smile in return "Ema you should not be true greedy, you had already decided to take Ria and now you want another student, should not you leave some for your sister to pass her legacy".
"You already have Suzi and Sera to success you but I don't have anyone, and his element is also same as mine where can I find such a suitable successor".
Mary can't have but gave a helpless smile "shouldn't you at least think about your reputation before saying something like this, there are plenty of students who would like to come under your wings. And what the heck are you talking about attribute, you are agility system while he is a control system how do you suppose to teach him".
"It is not a problem, he is still young changing the direction of his cultivation will not be a problem. And with the two attributes he have can help him to become the strongest agility system in both sky and the sea" Ema was quick to reply, she sounded like this is the very obvious think to do.
"Stop it Ema, you can't just change a student's focus just for your own good. Let him alone now, we can talk to him when he wake up let's go now" Mary turn to leave and signal Ema to follow her.
Ema reluctantly follow her out but her mind was still trying to find a way in which she can make Kai her disciple. just his experience of second awakening is enough to make him a more valuable person then those with innate top tier Martial Soul.
Every soul wielder want to upgrade their Martial Soul as it increase their potential for growth, if she just figure out the method even if she is not successful to make her Martial Soul top tier just increasing its quality would be good enough.

Three days later.
After the incident Kai remain in deep cultivation state and have not woken up yet, since Mary has witness the situation herself so the absence from the class is not a problem.
No one aside from Mary and Ema know what actually have happened and since deep cultivation is not too abnormal for soul wielder no one thought too much about it.
Of course the two ladies that have witness the transformation are eager to see if Kai's Martial Soul have really evolved or something else have happen.
After three days of cultivation Kai finally wake up, his eyes tremble a little before he able to open them. First thing he feel after waking up is actually weakness and hunger.
Since he have not eat for three days it is pretty reasonable that he felt hungry. His whole body is covered in a thin layer of filth and Kai soon realize that he is in need to have a throughout bath.
Even though he wanted to try what new ability the soul bone have bestow him but he really is not in any good health to that. It took Kai one hour of bath to completely clean himself then he went to the canteen for a healthy breakfast.
Though as soon as Kai finish his breakfast he was stopped by someone and it was none other than Sera "Kai it is good you wake up already, grandma have told you to come to her office".
Kai follow after Sera to the Mary's office, as soon as he entered the office someone else also followed him in and it was Ema. She had placed keen eye over boy's dormitory and when she saw Kai come went to canteen she was ready to went there but she was in middle of work so it took her some time.
Mary shook her head helplessly `this woman is already so old but sometimes act like a small kid'.
"Let's straight got to the point, Kai release your Martial Soul" Mary said without showing any haste in her voice but inside she eagerly waiting to know if Kai's Martial Soul have evolved, and if it is true then how it had happened.
Kai still completely oblivious of the his second awakening he thought that he has just absorb a soul bone, so he can't understand what is going on here.
Kai still obey her command and release his Martial Soul and he is left shock. White dragon wings stretch out of his back and his hands turn into claws as three cyanblue halos appear around him as strong power is burst through his body.
He was completely amazed by these changes and quickly figure out what is going on, he unknowingly went through a second awakening and this cause all this situation. His Martial Soul is no more Myriad Spirit bird but The Myriad Spirit Dragon.
"Good, very good your martial soul have really evolved. Tell me how did it happen, how did your martial soul evolved" Mary asked trying to contain her excitement.
"I actually don't know, I was absorbing a soul bone and everything happened by itself" since there was nothing to hide Kai honestly admitted it.
"Which type of soul bone? What beast it belongs to? What was its age?" As soon as she got a chance Ema showered at him with her questions.
Kai thought about it and tell them about the soul bone and everything that had occurred. He himself is unsure of how his evolution had occurred and it will only be a good to find its answers.
After hearing everything Mary and Ema were both left confused, they can't understand that what actually cause the evolution. How can absorbing a soul bone can led to second awakening of the Martial Soul.
Mary examine Kai with her soul power and frown "you said you absorbed torso bone but there is no soul bone in your torso".
"What? But I was really absorbing a soul bone and even felt the fusion process, how can there be no soul bone" Kai asked with confusedly.
"There is indeed no soul bone in your torso and the only explanation is that during the fusion the soul bone went through some abnormal changes and turn into different energy which trigger the dragon bloodline in your genes which led to the evolution" Mary said while looking at Ema.
Ema nodded, she is the head of the research department so she has much knowledge about mutation and even she can only think of this explanation.
"After your second awakening your potential have increase but no matter how talented a student is they still need a master who can guide them in their cultivation. I am sure that there would be many elites who want a talented disciple like you".
"But you should always be considerate about who you want to learn from and weather it would be good for your future or not" Mary calmly explain him, she didn't try to take him as her disciple mainly because not only their fields are different but also because she already have Sera as her inheritance disciple.
Any master can only have a single inheritance disciple whom they teach their every secret skill and pass on their legacy. With the talent Kai have he deserve to be an inheritance disciple but since she already have one she can't accept another.
`Such a big compliment straight from a saint, is my Martial Soul have really become that great I ought to test it` Kai thought happily but he is still worried about the absence of the soul bone, it belong to a sea dragon after all.
"Sister Mary is right, I would have also liked to made you my disciple but since our attribute are so different it is not possible but if you ever want to learn a thing or two about speed you can come to me" Ema said with the bitter smile.
Ema pull out a small container made of glass "put a drop of your blood in this container it will be useful for my research, in return I can teach you one of my skills".
"Really" Kai's eyes brighten and he quickly make a small cut in his middle finger and gave a drop of blood. Learning a skill from a true sage by giving a single drop of blood is better than a great bargain.
"Let's go I will teach my skill Momentum Release" Ema said while leaving the room. Kai hastily follow after her, but Sera was stopped by Mary.
"What happened grandma?" Sera asked.
"Sera we don't know if Kai is hiding something about the evolution from us, I don't he had but if there is something that he didn't want to tell us than he should try to ask him, if we figure out how his second awakening have occurred we can also try it. Sera your Martial Soul is one of the best among high class and you have a very high chance of evolution but we need to figure out a way to trigger it".
"Grandma I don't think Kai would hide something like this, if he knows a way then he would have definitely told us" Sera object with rightful expression.
Hearing her tone Mary can't help but gave a bitter smile `telling this girl to spy on him is like telling a most loyal soldier to murder their king, it is completely useless method`.
