Chapter 180: First Mission (3)

Lake was silent as he listened to Liam. What he just heard revealed some unspoken rules of their society that he had never thought of.

What really happens to martial artists who commit a crime? Why doesn't he ever see news or reports on such incidents?

'They've been restricting information on it...' Lake sighed as he thought of this.

Without a place to house criminal martial artists, there really was no point in capturing them alive. As soon as you look away, no wall or bullet will be able to stop them from escaping. They could cripple the martial artist's limbs and body, but such a method would be too inhumane and spark too much moral conflict among the populace.

Naturally, the best option in such a situation is to just directly eliminate the threat, but the government can't go around just telling people that. They don't know how the public would react to such news or even the other martial artists.
