Chapter 43: The Cure to my Fever.

As Loni drove home, she didn't even think about going back to the delivery place. All she thought was if she still wanted to work there, the situation between Chanyu and her, and lastly Reo.

When Loni arrived, she unlocked the entrance door and tip toed in. Then it hit her, splat right there.

"Shit." Loni thought as she noticed Reo's shoes were at the door with his coat hanged up. Loni scurried around to see empty bottles of alcohol and a drunken man wobbling everywhere.

"Miss Loni, you have to help us! I think Reo has a fever but he's ignoring the symptoms and simply drinking!" The maid worried.

Just as Reo was about to take another sip, Loni stopped him. "Whoa there buddy, I think that's enough alcohol for a night." Loni took the bottle and placed it on the table.

"Loni..baby... you're back." Reo words slurred as he rested his head on Loni's shoulder.

Loni gently felt his forehead and suddenly her eyes widened. The temperature of his forehead was so hot, it felt as if it burned her hand.

"C-can you help me carry him to his room? I'll take care of him." Loni politely asked the maids.

In the room, Loni paced around grabbing towels and blankets for Reo. She soaked the face towel in cold water and placed it on Reo's head.

Then, an idea popped up in Loni's mind. She decided she will make Reo her mom's famous chicken noodle soup. So, Loni put on her glasses and ran downstairs into the kitchen and began cooking.

"I think it's sweet for Loni to take care of him. Usually if Reo gets a fever, girls would just stand there and wait for someone to tend to him." One of the maids said while spying.

"I know right! She must be a keeper since she's different." Another said as both of the chuckled.

After cooking the soup, Loni carried the warm bowl upstairs into Reo's room. Loni then lightly tapped on Reo, "Reo, wake up! I have your soup."

With a few seconds passing, Reo slowly sat up and rubbed his eyes. "Come on, if you want to get better you have to eat this." Loni held a spoonful of soup to Reo's mouth.

"Feed it to me." Reo said as he yawned.

"No, you can feed it to yourself." Loni said without hesitation.

"I'm not going to eat it if you don't feed it to me." Reo slowly started to lay back down.

Loni sighed as she put the spoonful of soup in her mouth, and kissed Reo, slowly letting out the soup. Reo smirked as he grabbed her waist, deepening the kiss and making it more passionate.

Loni pulled away and wiped her mouth from the kiss. "Now, eat your soup." Loni said while trying to catch her breathing.

"Fine, fine, fine. I'll eat it." Reo held the bowl of soup and began eating it.

"I'll be back, I'm going find some medicine for you." Loni left the room and scurried downstairs to find some medicine.

After a few minutes, Loni found the medicine Reo needed. As she walked into the room, she noticed Reo finished the bowl of soup, and was peacefully sleeping.

Loni smiled as she set the medicine on his desk and wrote a note saying 'eat your medicine when you wake up.'
