prelude to chaos pt.2

after Naruto and Neji's duel that makes everyone spirited, the battle continues and this time is Shikamaru's turn.

and just like in the story, his opponent is kazekage's daughter, Temari.

Kaoru who really knows Shikamaru understands that even if Shikamaru could beat Temari, he will surrender at the last moment.

when the battle begins, Shikamaru chooses to fight Temari head-on and that makes Temari confused, she that Shikamaru is a middle-range fighter but this time he acts differently.

Shikamaru then created a weapon using his shadow while approaching Temari and before he could reach her, Temari swiped her giant fan making Shikamaru thrown away from the wind effect.

but what she doesn't know is that Shikamaru's act was just a distraction, because of the wind, he had a chance to lay a trap.

Temari who doesn't find anything strange, approaches Shikamaru slowly while swiping her fan and making a wind wave that pushes him to the arena wall.

but, right after Temari passed the trap point, Shikamaru made a hand seal and used a basic jutsu that all shinobi have to know, and with this Jutsu, he will finish the battle.

Shikamaru disappeared and what replaced him was a strange yellow cloth, Shikamaru suddenly appeared behind Temari unfortunately, Temari was not fast enough to evade.

Shikamaru used his Kagemane no Jutsu and Temari got trapped, she made a scowling face since she never thought that she would lose by such a basic jutsu like Kawarimi.

Temari understood that she already lost but she didn't want to acknowledge that she lost this fast and easily, Shikamaru's next action confused her.

Shikamaru took a distance and then made a hand seal and his shadow started to move strangely, his shadow now had some strange saw-like teeth and red eyes appearing on the surface.

the strange shape shadow make Temari scared shitless, she only ever feels this kind of feeling when she faced her brother Garaa, and she knew this time she will die.

the proctor takes a position and is ready to make a move if Shikamaru uses his strange Jutsu to kill.

he then raised his hand, followed by Temari who got trapped by his shadow, and what he said next made the spectators dumbfounded.

"I surrender!" Shikamaru makes his decision and chooses to give up.

"...."

no one makes a noise because they are afraid that they heard it wrong.

suddenly the silence is destroyed by a laugh from Kaoru.

"HAHAHA! Look at you all, just like a monkey that got his banana got stolen!"

and then the audience started booing Shikamaru, they were disappointed with him because he gave up when he could win easily.

"See, you all just like a monkey, good Shikamaru, you give me such an attraction I will not punish you for surrendering that easily!" 

no matter how noisy the arena was, he still could hear Kaoru's words and he felt relieved that he would not be punished.

the proctor then announces Temari as the winner but, she still can't comprehend what happened, how could she become a winner, and why he surrendered.

looking at her condition, Shikamaru tells her the reason. "my new Jutsus is designed for killing, if I kill someone in this exam it will be a very big problem, and I also didn't want to hit a woman!"

Shikamaru then left the arena but, Temari was still stunned and needed a medic help to take her back to the participants' area.

after the phenomenal fight, the battle continued and this time it was Garaa vs. Sasuke, because Kakashi wasn't late, the match would not be suspended.

both Sasuke and Garaa take a position and are ready to fight.

"haa haa haa, I will kill you, and mother will praise me!" Garaa mumbled excitedly about killing Sasuke while panting.

right after the proctor started the battle, Sasuke rushed at Garaa and punched him, and the sand moved to protect Garaa but, Sasuke's movement was too fast for the sand.

Garaa was shocked and remembered his battle with Lee, he controlled the sand to make a giant ball to envelop him.

looking at Garaa's act, Sasuke kicks the ball but, suddenly sand spikes arise from the surface of the ball, luckily Sasuke moves fast enough to evade the spikes.

he then retreats and climbs the wall, Sasuke starts to make a hand seal.

In the audience seat, Kaoru still watching the battle while eating his popcorn, and when he sees that Sasuke is ready to use Chidori he sneers.

"Oya oya, who would have thought that Kakashi senpai would teach his signature Jutsu to his pupil"

when Guy heard Kaoru, he also agreed with him since he never thought that Kakashi would teach A-rank Jutsu to his students but his agreement turned into an embarrassed face from Kakashi's remark.

"both of you don't have any right to say that when you also teach some scary Jutsu to your student"

even though he wants to pay back the teasing, what he gets is Kaoru's smug face.

Kaoru didn't care what kind of Jutsu he taught his students as long as they didn't cross the line.

looking at Kaoru's face Kakashi sighed because Kaoru is like the complete opposite of him.

since he didn't want to continue to talk he chose to observe the match.

In the arena, Sasuke completes his hand seal and a blue light appears on his hand accompanied by a sound like birds' chirp.

what he uses now is Kakashi's signature Jutsu, among many jutsu that he mastered this is the only one that he creates and develops alone.

the weakness of this Jutsu is chakra consumption, control, and the trajectory that is too easy to predict.

fortunately, Sasuke's opponent right now is Garaa who shut himself inside the sand ball.

if Kaoru has to make a comment, Garaa is just like an upside-down turtle, he can't move and only takes every kind of attack that coming.

Garaa pre-Shippuden is a real example of a strong guy without any battle experience.

Sasuke then rushed toward the sandball, the ninjas from the sand village knew how strong Garaa's defense was, but they never thought the impenetrable shield would be broken this time.

just in a mere second, the famous shield was pierced by Sasuke's Chidori but, Sasuke's confident face became serious and he retreated because he felt something wrong with his opponent.

Sasuke focused his Sharingan on the hole that he created and what he saw inside was a strange eye, and then everyone could hear a terrifying roar.

looking at Garaa got injured and when they heard that roar, all the ninjas from the Sand Village started to make a move.

on the tree, a sole Anbu suddenly uses a genjutsu and puts everyone to sleep but, several people and Jounin are fast enough not to fall asleep from the genjutsu.

and this time, Kaoru stood up while spreading his arm he started to laugh.

"Hahaha, now the chaos has begun!!" Kaoru laughed happily while impaling the unfortunate enemy ninja.
