Nyxar leaned back, wearing a nonchalant expression. "It's simple, really. I wanted a connection to the divine community outside of the pantheon, and I needed a proper merchant to handle my theocracy's trading deals. When I saw that dark elf, Elena, I thought, why not kill two birds with one stone?" Nyxar chuckled, a playful glint in his eye.

Bass giggled in response. "Oh? Does that mean you've decided to align yourself with the neutral/good faction?"

Nyxar paused, considering his words. "Well, I suppose you could say that. But I won't be fighting any pointless wars if your faction decides to make enemies."

Their conversation was marked by a mix of strategic thinking and a touch of humor, setting the tone for their budding partnership.

Rafi stood an imposing three meters tall, his entire body a testament to sheer power, with bulging muscles and prominent veins beneath his bronzed skin. His eyes, a gentle shade of brown, peered out from beneath a curtain of long, silky black hair. "Ah, Rafi, be a dear and show her the way," Clementine instructed.

"Of course, sir," Rafi replied, his voice resonating with both depth and warmth.

On the second day of the festival, even more visitors had arrived in the Kingdom. Thanks to the creation of numerous inns and accommodations, lodging was not an issue. Furthermore, a significant amount of money flowed into the city through the festival, and commoners with stalls set up were enjoying a boost in income. It was a prosperous day for everyone involved.

However, the usual lively streets had fallen into a rare silence. People gathered around screens that displayed what was happening in a grand stadium within the Theocracy. The visitors were not only astonished by the advanced technology but also by the nature of the game being broadcast.

It was a tournament, but instead of physical combat, participants utilized a magical artifact that harnessed illusion magic. This artifact brought forth creatures from cards and pitted them against each other in a form of battle. The game was known as "Yu-Gi-Oh," and it offered a unique and peaceful way of competing.

The audience was captivated by the spectacle unfolding on the screens, immersing themselves in the world of card battles.

Instantly, the numbers above the dragon's head increased, displaying an impressive 2900 for attack and 2600 for defense. The audience quickly grasped the significance; in this game, higher attack values often spelled defeat for opponents with lower values.

The duel had begun in earnest, and the excitement in the stadium was palpable.

Chase wasted no time and commanded his dragon to attack. With a fierce roar, the majestic blue dragon unleashed a devastating breath attack that engulfed the opposing face-down card. To everyone's surprise, the revealed card was a blue elf with a crown, and it disintegrated in the wake of the dragon's onslaught. Cole grunted in pain as his Life Points took a hit, and the crowd erupted in excitement. The spectacle before them was nothing short of amazing.

It was now Cole's turn, and he announced his move with enthusiasm. "I activate Polymerization!" As he spoke, a swirling pool of vivid blue energy manifested, dazzling the eyes of all who beheld it. Anticipation hung thick in the air as they eagerly awaited the outcome.

Cole continued, "I use Meteor Dragon and Red-Eyes B. Dragon to Fusion Summon... Meteor B. Dragon!" With those words, an even more fearsome dragon emerged before the audience. This new creature was a striking combination of purple and red, with yellow accents that added to its imposing presence. It exuded the regal aura of a proud beast, and while it initially startled many, they quickly remembered that it was all part of the game. The stadium erupted in cheers as they marveled at the new dragon's impressive stats.

The duel between Chase and Cole was heating up, and the excitement in the stadium reached a fever pitch.

As Cole concluded his turn, he informed the crowd, "I can't attack after Fusion Summoning, so I'll end my turn." A chorus of disappointed groans and sighs echoed through the stadium. However, Cole's smile only grew wider, seemingly reveling in the suspense and anticipation he was creating.

Chase, on the other hand, opted for a more strategic approach. He summoned another monster in face-down defense position and switched his Luster Dragon to defense as well. This move drew a mixed reaction from the spectators, resulting in a chorus of both cheers and boos.

The duel between Chase and Cole continued, each move met with gasps, cheers, and intense scrutiny from the audience. Monsters clashed, traps were triggered, and strategies unveiled as the duelists battled it out. By the end of their thrilling match, every race and faction currently residing in the kingdom had become a fan of this new and exciting game
