Chapter 7
Evita's pov
As I stormed off from his office I went straight to my car, I was so angry it made me want to cry. " who the f**k does he think he is?" I huffed in anger and frustration as I struggled to open my car with my keys. All of a sudden I was turned around by a hand which had a firm grip on my skin. I was faced with a heavily built man on black with his hair scattered all over his face
"What the hell" I screamed at the stranger. "What do you want from me? Leave me alone, help." I continued, screaming and thrashing around.
"Keep quiet or else I'll stab you and dump your body in an alley for the rats to feed on" he said in his hoarse voice, his face inching closer to mine. I kept pleading with him quietly to let me go but he wasn't even listening. He pulled me out the parking lot and then towards a very dark alley. hot tears started to flow down my cheeks as I begged him to let me go " please let me go, please" so this is how I die, leaving Lilly all alone in this world. As he dragged me, I tried to pull my hand away from his grip but i was too weak, "please" I said finding it difficult to breath. We finally reached the alley and he shoved me angrily on the ground causing my ankle to sprain and hit my head.I let out a scream. The pain was so unbearable I couldn't even attempt to stand up, talkless of running.
"You should know you shouldn't be walking around at night miss" he said with a laugh. "But guess what? It's to my own benefit" he added and chuckled.
After that, he bent down so he was on my level, and then he ripped my shirt open
"Wow, that's some nice b**bs you got there" he said with a smirk. I tried to keep myself covered but he removed my hands and pinned on both sides with his knee..
"I also have something nice" a familiar voice said. "Mr lockewood" I said faintly . The man stood up and went towards him.
"What do you want? leave right now" the stranger said.
" don't you want to know what it is?" Mr lockewood asked him
" Didn't you hear me? I said leave " the stranger shouted.
"It's my fist" I heard Mr lockewood say, followed by a thud and then I blacked out.

Killian's pov
"Rolland, please take the twins and Lilly home, I'll be coming back soon." I said then hung up. I had rushed Miss Valkov to the hospital immediately I beat that man into a pulp. She's still unconscious, the doctor said it's because she hit her head really hard but she'll be awake very soon. I sat on the chair opposite the bed waiting for her to wake up, it's almost 1am and I have to prepare a presentation for a 7am meeting tomorrow. I had originally planned that Miss valkov will help but seeing the condition she is she won't even be able to walk properly talk less of helping.
"mr lockewood?" I looked up to see miss valkov already sitted.
"what is your problem miss valkvov, why are you sitting down? Did I ask you to stand up? Lie down now"
"why do you care? " she scoffed
"um….i don't care about you, I just want you to heal up on time because I need you at work". I said with my hands behind my back.
"typical" she muttered.
"I'll go get your discharge papers ready" I said and exited the room.
When i got back to the ward miss valkov was in, I met her folded and crying like a child.
"What is wrong with you? Why Are you crying all of a sudden? Did someone try to do something again? I'm talking to You."
" why are you yelling at me? Was it my fault that I almost got raped? It is all your fault. If you hadn't sold my house or kidnap me, all this wouldn't have happened yet you are still shouting at me". She yelled really loud. I didn't even raise my voice at her. I think she's been traumatised or something.
"It's not my fault, I didn't ask you to come to my office, you came on your own accord miss valkov" I answered her.
"You bastard" she removed the tube attached to her hand and tried to stand up, she was still weak so she almost fell. She's lucky I caught her on time.
" let go off me you shameless man." She spat. Why was she so angry? I don't have time for all this. I let go of her and walked towards the door but I stopped once I noticed she wasn't following me.
" What now?" I asked
"Nothing. Um it's just that,..I can't walk without assistance"
"I know that, that's why the nurses provided a wheel chair....use it" I said slightly annoyed.
"Oh" she said then started to walk towards the wheel chair. We'll spend 10 minutes here before she reaches the chair. Already annoyed I pushed the wheel chair towards her
"You'll spend eternity if i wait for you" i said as she sat down.
"You could have given me earlier then we wouldn't have wasted your precious time " she said and rolled her eyes at me.
"Don't you dare...."
"Come on let's go"she said interrupting me.
"Push me now, I'm still too weak to do it myself" she added
"I definitely won't do that. since you have the strength to talk you should be able to move the wheelchair yourself " I replied and walked off.
When I got to the elevator she was still at the door of the ward. I angrily walked towards her and pushed her into the elevator.
"You are just impossible "

We arrived at my house about 5 minutes ago but I'm still outside. Miss valkov is asleep and I've been trying to wake her up but she isn't moving at all, she's deep in her sleep. I guess I have to do this, I thought as I carried her in my arms and closed the door with my foot. As I entered I saw Rolland with the kids in the sitting room, kayden and jayden were asleep but Lilly was wild awake. Immediately she spotted me and miss valkov, she ran toward us
"Is vy okay?" She asked with teary eyes
"Yes she is Lilly, miss valkov...I mean evita is just sleeping right now, she needs lots of rest and care. You'll take care of her right?" I asked with evita, miss valkov still asleep in my arms
"Yes i will, vy and I will sleep in the same room please" she said. Super cute
"Okay anything you want princess, come on let's go. And Rolland please take the kids to their room. We'll see tomorrow morning" I said the last part facing Rolland. He nodded and I took Lilly and miss valkov to the room they'll be staying for tonight.
