Start of the war

Glitch clicked his tongue as he realized this was the inverted arc triangle formation.

This kind of formation was great for targeting the opposition core first, but it was bad, as it would lead to too many deaths.

In this kind of formation, that arc in the middle was the bait for canines to target.

He was sure that in a trial with no smart monster to guide canines, they would all rush to the arc's deep center.

There was a 100% chance that players standing in the center of the arc would die within a minute. Canines would break the first layer and start clashing with the second group.

Now the position of the young king could lead to two scenarios.

In the first scenario, the young king would lead the canines from the front. The massive size of the silver wolf with the momentum of other canines beside it would have enough power to even breach the second group.

The chances were low that the canine army would then have enough momentum to break the last group.

If this happened, the third group standing in the back would get to fight the young king first.

In the second scenario, the young king would stand at the back of the canines' army.

In this case, the first attack of the canine would still have enough strength to break the first arc formation. But they then would get stuck in the second group.

He looked at the side of the arcs. Here, while the first and second groups would fight with canines, the last group would use one flank as cover and move to the back to target the young king.

This was a deceiving formation, where those standing at the back would engage with the core of the enemy in most scenarios.

He mentally clapped the guy who came up with this idea. They were using 90% of players as their shield so that they could engage with Silver Wolf alone.

Even though it increased the risk of the village protection task failing, it was better to fail one to gain the most out of the other task.

It was a nice tactic. To be true, if he was in their shoe he would use some kind of similar tactic, but not this one.

The problem with the tactic was anyone with a little brain would realize the center of arcs was the death zone.

He spotted multiple players in the first group who were moving subtly to not get chosen to stand in the middle.

The problem was this group was full of dumbfcks that did not know a shit about the game. These players were excited to get the center-most position.

Like a good guy, he willingly joined hands with the most motivated group who were chanting the different ways they going to smash those puppies.

It was not a surprise when their group of 20 people stood in the middle of the arc formation. Without knowing, all of them became the sacrificial lambs, the great heroes.

As he stood among them, he heard one of them bragging, "Guy, leave these puppies to me. These pups are nothing compared to the bulls I take care of."

Another one counter, "I don't know about those, but compared to the bear I used to wrestle, they were nothing."

"Dude, you have no idea about the size difference between bulls and bears."

"They may be big, but not strong."

"What you say, are you idiots? The big bulls are strong."

"You are an idiot. I told you bull can't be stronger than bears."

"What the fck how?"

"Because they are vegans. A vegan can't be stronger than meat eaters."

Silence, the bull guy stood there speechless, but then a third sharp woman's voice broke the silence, "How dare you say vegans are weak! "

"That's true."

"You dimwit I am vegan and I bench 300. What about you?"

"You must weigh more than that. A woman can lift that much?"

"How dare you say that? I going to knock you out in one punch."

"Don't brag that much. If you are that strong, let's settle this with arm wrestling?"

Glitch slapped his forehead at this stupidity. 'Are these guys serious? Did they forget everyone in the game has similar stats?'

He held the urge to smack both of them. It became clear to him that stupidity had nothing to do with gender.

As they were about to start their arm wrestling, someone beat him and suggested changing the completion to the number of canines they were going to kill.

This was like a trigger point and everyone around him started shouting the number of canines they were going to kill.

It was interesting how most of them were saying those absurd numbers with no shame in their voice.

They were even competing among themselves.

When others around him said their counts, the guy next to him asked him loudly, "Dude, what about you? How many are you going to kill?"

He was about to say some random number when suddenly the dogs' and wolves' heads started popping out of the forest.

Ahoo Ahoo!

Bow-bow!

Wolves started howling, and dogs also joined in with barking.

It did not stop with a few canines and soon spread throughout the forest. 1000 canines continued to howl and bark as they moved out of the forest.

It was so loud that even the ground below their feet started shaking. None of the players dare to make any sound.

Most even started shivering. Even those around him were no different.

As Glitch stared at the canine army, his palms got sweaty, his heart started beating loudly, and even his leg shook a little.

He gulped his saliva at the sight of 1000s of creatures standing on another side of the barrier wanting to tear him into pieces.

At that moment, all the creatures stopped howling and a big silver wolf jumped out of the forest. It was at least 3 times bigger than the other wolves.

He tried to take a deep breath to calm himself, but it failed. A wide smile formed behind his mask as he saw a silver wolf standing at the back of the canine army.

He checked the time. Less than 2 minutes left.

With his shaking hand, he pulled out the leftover water tanks from inventory. After taking a few sips, he slammed the water tank on the ground.

Boom!

In the silence, it echoed throughout the battlefield, snapping those around him out.

All the surrounding players looked at him. Those away also stared in his direction.

The sharp ear wolves and dogs glared at him.

Not caring about any of them, he picked up his water tank. Point it at the canine army and shouted, "That's my target!"

The player far away did not see clearly, but those around him and those in front of him all saw him point toward the young king.

Wolves and dogs in front started growling, while players around started laughing.

Not caring about the face, he joined them and screamed, "Let's have some fcking hot dogs."

With that, he broke up the formation and ran toward the barrier with a water tank in his hand.

Nobody around him cared about the formation. They followed him while screaming, "Hot dogs! Hot dogs!"
