War formation

Glitch moved toward the left section of the plaza, toward the meeting place.

Along the way, he spotted multiple big and small groups all around the village. It was interesting how the star village suddenly felt so empty.

There were 20 minutes left for the barrier to break, but NPCs did not have any sense of urgency. No one in the village was afraid of that young king.

The only plausible answer was that there was someone in the village far more powerful than that young king.

The same kind of thing also happened in the past life. Many players speculate that finding the strongest entity in the village could trigger some kind of additional event, but he shook his head.

There was no time left to waste time. He increased his speed and soon saw a large group standing near the meeting point.

As he walked closer, his mouth fell open in shock to see around 3 times more people than their initial group.

"What the hell is going on here?" he mumbled in confusion.

50 players were already too much but 150 that 15% of the entire new player base on the planet. There was no way any guild would want to waste so much on a single planet.

After all, except for a few kingdom players, others would have to restart.

Usually, one guild did these kinds of things when they wanted to fight against other groups on the planet. But if that were the case, the Eagle gang would not send the first timer.

He stopped questioning so much and moved close to the group while showing the group symbol with his left hand.

At this, one guy standing on the left side motioned him to join them.

'It must be Boss Bruno', he thought to himself. He nodded his head toward Boss Bruno and then swiftly walked to the left group.

He stood at the back of the group. With a glance, he noticed that there were 4 smaller groups.

The leftmost group was his group of 50, but right now there were only 39 people present in his group.

The group standing just next to them had around 38. While it was difficult to count the exact number of the rightmost group, they had the most members in them.

Except for these 3 groups standing next to each other, there was a smaller group of 20 standing in front of them.

That must be the direct group under the Eagle gang.

He asked the guy standing next to him, "Who are those guys?" while pointing toward the top group.

That guy quickly pulled his hand down and whispered, "Shh, don't point at them. They are from Eagle Gang."

He tilted his head. "Eagle gang? Are those our leaders in the game?"

The other guy shrugged his shoulder, "I don't know. There was one guy that was shouting some code that Boss Bruno understood and from that moment we are standing here."

He nodded and pointed to the other two groups beside them. "What about those guys?"

That guy shook his head. "Don't know, but it looks like the group standing next to us is in the same position as us."

"Oh, this is also their first time?"

"Yeah, but they did not recognize Vandra Bhai or the other 6 gangs"

"They must be from some distinct branch of the Eagle gang. What about the last group?"

"It is a mixed group that came from different places. But for most of them, it is their 2nd time. I even heard there are few in that group who are doing this for 3rd time."

Glitch squinted his eyes at this. "What about those from Eagle Gang?"

The guy shook his head. "I don't know."

As Glitch was about to ask more, one of the Eagle gang members walked forward and said, "Hello everyone, I am Mike, the leader of the group sent by the gang. We don't have much time to waste, so I will give brief instructions."

Everyone nodded their head.

Mike pointed up toward the dome, "I think for most of you this is your first time, so you may not know, but this dome is not normal."

At this, the rightmost group nodded their head vigorously while the other two groups just looked at Mike in confusion.

Mike said, "I don't know who triggered these two quests, but thanks to that guy, all of us have a tremendous opportunity to gain an advantage over others."

Glitch smiled at that.

Someone asked from the crowd, "How, Bhai?"

Mike said in a casual tone, "You guys don't have to worry about details. Just follow my plans. If things go according to the plan, all of us will gain a massive advantage over others. This could even help many of you to reach the next level in your first time."

Everyone in the crowd started buzzing at this. One of them asked, "Bhai, what do we have to do?"

At this, Mike said, "First I want 3 group leaders to come forward"

Three players moved forward from the groups.

Mike pointed to Burno Bhai and the guy next to him. "This is your first time, so it is better if you choose 10 members from your group."

Then Mike turned to the last guy, "You chose 30 experienced members from your group."

At Mike's command, 3 group leaders started shouting the name they wanted to select.

A smaller group of 50 members formed between them and Mike.

Glitch waited for Mike's explanation, but Mike said nothing and instead led them toward the village gate.

Glitch frowned, but there was nothing he could do, so he just quietly followed them.

Along the way, they met others from different organizations. Interestingly, they were also in similar 3-group formation.

Soon, they walked out of the village gate toward the edge of the dome.

There was an around 50-meter gap between the village's outer wall and protective dome.

Once they were out, Mike and the other leaders called their biggest group and combined them.

This way almost 50% of the players became part of this bigger pool.

Then all the leaders started arranging the players in some kind of formation.

Glitch continued to follow the command and stood at his position while examining the formation.

After some time, a clear picture formed in his head.

The biggest group stood ahead of the others toward the forest.

The players in this group stood in arc formation where players at both ends of the arc stood just next to the barrier, while the players at the center of the arc were around 20 meters away from the barriers.

The total width of this inverted arc was around 500 meters and there were three layers of players standing one behind the others in this arc formation.

After the inverted arc formation, there was a gap of around 10 meters between them and the second group of players.

Unlike them, the second group stood in 2 500 meters straight lines, and a third smaller hundred-meter line behind the center of the arc.

He saw the last group of around 100 players standing behind the second formation. They did not have any formation, instead just standing there in clusters.

The moment Glitch saw the familiar formation, he realized their plan. He could not help but click his tongue. These guys were not that dumb.
