15 Leading others

The biggest advantage and disadvantage of this formation was knowledge about it.

Those affiliated with the guild only dared to use this formation because most players were playing this game for the first time.

Most of them had no idea how the formation worked.

As he expected, even when all the players stood there in their positions, none of those elite players told anybody what to do.

It was a decent thought. The fewer players knew about the formation, the less chance for them to oppose it. But in his eyes, this was the biggest flaw of their plan.

Those guys assumed everyone would stay still, waiting for the wolf to make the first move.

Glitch had no plan to let things go that way.

With loud shouts and bravado, he rushed toward the canine army.

Those standing around him at the center of the arc followed him, while other players standing beside the center started to follow the group in the lead.

Before anyone from the third group could understand anything, the entire arc formation crumbled apart into a spearhead formation, with Glitch in the lead.

Glitch timed it so well that by the time he reached the barrier, the one-hour barrier time was over and it disappeared.

The players in the second group started shouting in shock.

"What going on?"

"Why are those guys running?"

"Wait, stop you guys."

"Why are you leaving…"

Not caring about them, he screamed and rushed past the barrier line.

Others followed behind him toward the heart of the canine army.

Wolves and dogs started growing at them, but he could see them panicking a little.

The distance between them and the first line of dogs continued to shrink.

Bow! Grrr!

Dogs started barking at them with crazy red eyes.

He gulped down in nervousness. He knew now was the most important time. Without wasting a moment, he pulled out one lowest-grade strength boost and poured it into his mouth.

Ding!

[Strength-boosting potion consumed. +10% strength.

Effective time: 1 minute.

Note: Consuming the same potion within the effective time will lead to no effect.]

He smiled in satisfaction and threw the bottle away.

Instead of taking out his swords, he placed the water tank in front such that both his arms bent behind the tanks in support.

He planned to bulldoze through the army. He increased his speed and created a meter gap between him and others.

At this time, Silver Wolf King came to its senses and howled.

Owwwwwww!

Like a war cry signal, the canine army madly started moving toward them.

A chuck of the fastest group targeted him and ran straight at him.

He braced himself and rammed into the wolf leading this group while screaming, "Let's go!"

Boom!

A cloud of dust rose as both of them collided.

His momentum was so great that he sent that wolf rolling back on the ground.

However, he was not unscathed. In that little window, the wolf's claw scratched his palm. The impact of the collision also made veins pop in his arms.

That was just the start as the next moment, 2 dogs behind the wolf jumped on him.

Even with the initial momentum, it was difficult for him to move past them, but others behind him caught up.

"haha kill these guys" The guy next to him punched one dog. The other dog got skewed by a couple of weapons.

With the push from the back, he regained his momentum and sent a couple of dogs flying.

As others tried to disperse to kill surrounding wolves and dogs, he pointed one hand at the silver wolf. "That king is mine."

Once he mentioned the king, multiple eyes shone in greed around him.

"No, I am going to kill that thing."

"There's no way I will let you do that!"

"Kill the king!"

"Yeah, kill the king first!"

While screaming, no one rushed to the side and instead continued to follow him.

Happy with this result, he did not pause and continued to ram at the dogs.

While he carved the path, others around him continued to kill those who try jumped on him.

In such a skirmish, multiple creatures stumble on the ground. Not daring to stop, he just walked on top of their bodies.

Though canines were not the only ones that fell even when players fell to the side, he did not wait for them and this led to them getting stomped to death.

The death of those at the front gave opportunities to those in the back. If one died, then two rushed to take their place.

They became like the high-speed train with the sliver wolf as their final destination. No small barrier of the canine bodies achieved any success in stopping this train.

With only him at the head of the spear, canines soon realized that they would not be able to stop players like that.

Instead of just focusing on him, most of them rushed toward the village, going for the back line. This decreases the pressure.

Still, he dared not to lose his focus.

He continued to run, drenched head to toe in blood.

From one eye, he stared at the ground in front. While also focusing on his health bar with his other eye.

The moment he noticed his health bar going down, he popped a healing potion in his mouth.

The lowest-grade healing potion gave him 25 heal points back. From time to time, he also shifted the tank position up and down as many wolves were aiming for his head and legs.

He heard loud shouting and howling from the back. It was clear canines were going all out on those in the second group and those standing at the end.

He did not know the position of the third group, but he was clear that those guys could not contest for Silver Wolf now.

As he was running, suddenly he heard panicked screams around him.

"Shit, slow down. Those guys in the back stopped following."

"Ahh, what the hell? How come their so many dogs behind us?"

"Oh no, dogs surround us."

"Did those guys use us as bait?"

"I knew from the beginning something was not right."

"Are we going to die…"

"No…"

He clicked his tongue, annoyed. 'It looks like canines focus on the base of the spearhead formation.'
