Chapter 146:-Sorting Things With Fuyumi

While the heroes were busy catching the villains, Izuku and the girls were standing in front of Fuyumi who had her eyes on Izuku the whole time.

More importantly, her eyes were focused on the small locket that was hanging around Izuku's neck.

It was a small circular locket that had a four-leaf clover inside it, while the locket itself was special as it was a small golden locket that had a small tree made at the center of the locket with a blue background.

It was a custom-made locket, that Fuyumi had made just for Izuku, on his birthday, and the four-leaf clover that was inside it was something Emi had found and given to Izuku as a good luck charm.

Ever since Fuyumi saw Toji using knowledge Izuku had written down in his books, Fuyumi had an eye on him the whole time, from defeating Shoto using the information on his quirk which she had given to Izuku so that he could analyze the quirk and give information on his weaknesses and ways to improve the quirk.

From how Izuku protected himself from the ice and fire, how he found out that Shoto was heavily relying on his ice quirk, to the point that frostbite spread throughout the body to the point that he had no choice but to use his flame quirk to get rid of frostbite, which became his end, to how he exposed Bakugo's quirk and dodging it as if he had been aware of his quirk and how Bakugo used it for the longest and knew everything about his quirk.

It was like both Shoto and Bakugo were playing in his hands, just as per the knowledge mentioned in Izuku's books.

All this made sure, that either Toji was Izuku, or he was the last person who saw Izuku, that's the reason she focused the whole time on Toji, to make sure to confront him after the festival, and also know as much about him as she can, and the locket that came out and opened to reveal the four leaf clover, which Toji adjusted and locked before keeping the locket inside his gym clothes, which sealed the deal.

That's why she was sure by the end of the festival that either he was Izuku or he was someone very close to him, or had Izuku with him.

Thus led to this encounter, Izuku seeing Fuyumi standing in front of him, knew he couldn't stall it any longer, plus it had been a long time since he met Fuyumi, so he also couldn't stop himself anymore.

"Kaina, please take the girls and wait for me at our home, I might get a bit late," said Izuku.

Kaina who saw Fuyumi knew who she was and knew how important she was to Izuku, so she decided to give them some space, as they deserved it, "Let's go, Maki, Momo, Izuku needs to sort this out," said Kaina

"No, I want to wait, I want to go back home with him," refuted Maki like a small kid.

"Maki-chan, Izuku might need some time, to sort this out, and let's go home and host a party, for Izuku's win in the sports festival and you both also winning in the sports festival," prompted Kaina.

"Yup, that's not a bad idea, and it feels, when he comes home, he might be sad, given how much Fuyumi meant to him, we don't know the outcome of this encounter, but let's make sure Izuku kun is happy at the end of the day," suggested Momo.

Maki nodded as all of them gave a small peck on Izuku's cheeks as they went ahead saying, "See you at home honey," said all 3 of them.

"See you," said Izuku.

By this time almost all the people were evacuated, so Izuku was clear that Fuyumi was looking at him, that's the reason why he let the girls go.

"Izuku?" asked Fuyumi, getting a little emotional, not sure what to think.

Izuku simply closed in the distance, held her hand, and teleported her to the top of a huge building in Fukuoka Preference.

Fuyumi, who was suddenly teleported to a skyscraper, took some time to register things and maintain her footing.

Once Izuku saw that Fuyumi had gained her bearings, Izuku asked, "Why do you think I am Izuku?"

"If you are not, you wouldn't teleport me here," said Fuyumi with determination.

"Who knows, I might have brought you here to silence you?" Asked Izuku

"Please, if you wanted to silence me, you could have done so then and there, the stadium was already evacuated, and there was no one to see you silencing me," said Fuyumi as she was closing in on Izuku.

Before Izuku could say anything, Fuyumi continued, "Please I know you are Izuku, or someone who has last seen Izuku if it's the latter then please tell me where Izuku is, if he is dead, then tell me where his grave is, and if you have his books, then please give me those books along with the locket in your neck, these are the last thing related to Izuku, and I don't want anyone else to have it," said Fuyumi as she had tears in her eyes, as she held the hem of her shirt.

"Do you think I would let anyone touch something so precious to me Fuyumi san?" said Izuku, who had no intention of teasing Fuyumi san after hurting her so much.

Fuyumi on listening to this, just hugged Toji tightly as she started crying.

"I am sorry Fuyumi san," said Izuku as Izuku started crying while hugging Fuyumi.

"It's me Fuyumi San, I am your Izuku," said Izuku as Fuyumi hugged him even tighter.

Once separated Izuku shapeshifts to his original look.

"Thank God you are okay, your face without these bandages and scratches looks so beautiful," said Fuyumi as she saw Izuku's true face without any injuries or bandages for the first time.

Izuku just kissed her hands in response.

"You have no idea how I have been for the whole year, ever since I read that suicide note of yours," said Fuyumi as she started telling Izuku how she's been for the whole year ever since Izuku's disappearance.

Izuku on listening to her story had tears in his eyes as he said, "I'm so sorry Fuyumi san, because of me you had to go through so much, and be in such a bad state, why would you go so far for me, fighting with everyone, not caring about anything at all, affecting your health, both mental and physical."

Fuyumi just hugged him and said, "Are you stupid or what, why would I not go so far for you, you are my family, someone very close to me and my heart, I would freeze the whole world for you, you are that precious to me," Fuyumi boldly exclaimed with determined eyes as if she would actually do that.

Izuku, touched by her words, teared up, as he hugged Fuyumi tightly, crying his heart out, apologizing to Fuyumi for all the trouble he had caused her.

Fuyumi just caressed his back, calming him down, once Izuku calmed down Fuyumi separated Izuku, and looked directly into his eyes as she said, "More importantly, how did this happen? How did you get a quirk? When did you get a quirk? How are you still alive? Who saved you? Why did you try to commit suicide? Was the suicide a lie? Where were you till now? Why did you never meet me? Did you not care about me?" Fuyumi bombarded Izuku with questions.

"Calm down Fuyumi san, I'll tell you everything," said Izuku.

"First of all I did try to commit suicide, I just wanted to end my life," said Izuku.

"Why did you not want to be a hero?" asked Fuyumi.

"Yes I wanted to, but what was the point of it if my only hero told me that I couldn't be a hero, just because I am quirkless, and that hero that I simped my whole life was my father, don't you know that if you read the suicide letter?" Asked Izuku.

"I did, I just wanted to know the truth," said Fuyumi.

"That day I had an existential crisis, I felt as if my whole life was a big joke, bullied by my brother and my childhood friends, ignored by my parents, and the only person who kept this quirkless idiot's hope of becoming a hero going, All might, he thought I was worthless just because I was born quirkless and also broke my dream, saying I can never be a hero.

I lost my will to endure the hardships anymore as what was the point of it if all I was going to be was a burden on everyone, without being able to achieve anything substantial, that's the reason why I decided to commit suicide." said Izuku as he remembered the past life, he had tears in his eyes as he clenched his fists.

"I decided to end my life, and I even almost did that, just as I was going to get impaled by iron spikes, somehow my quirk awakened, it saved my life, I got hope, hope that I can also be a hero now, but then I remembered the words of my hypocrite dad, who told me I cannot be a hero if the symbol of peace whom everyone looks up to can be so judgemental with his son, then he isn't fit to be a hero.

That's when I got time to think, and found out that the hero society is corrupted, cause I used to walk around in bandages in a city surrounded by heroes, and if they didn't care about me or why was I in such a state, neither anyone in school did anything to help, instead, they were promoting the bullies, that's when I realized that the hero society is corrupted, and it needs to change, my ideals changed, I never wanted to be like them" said Izuku as he had anger visible on his face.

Fuyumi simply kept listening to Izuku who was explaining.

"I wanted to get revenge, for everything that has happened to me, I wanted to make sure no other quirkless person has to go through the same thing as I did, and most importantly I wanted to make sure no one else has to sacrifice their dreams, and create a better world, where heroes of tomorrow like Emi, don't have to worry about anything, and most importantly they don't have to face the darkness of this society." Said Izuku explaining his motives.

"That's the reason I did all that, and I was so right in doing that," said Izuku.

"That? What?" asked Fuyumi.
