Chapter 126:- Battle Trial

Next was the Battle Trail which took place the next day.

The students of Class 1-A donned their hero costumes, gathering at Grounds B for the Battle Trial. All Might explained the scenario: an indoor battle, with teams split into villains and heroes for a two-on-two clash.

The goal was simple - heroes had to stop the villains from deploying a nuclear weapon, and if they captured the villains or reached the core before time ran out, they would win. All might while explaining could be seen visibly tired from the overwork.

The lottery paired Momo Yaoyorozu, known for her Creation Quirk, with Maki Yamikumo, whose Cursed Eye revealed the darkest nightmares. On the hero's side, Katsuki Bakugo and Kazuki Yagi, the Telekinetic powerhouse and boom boom boy, prepared to face the challenge.

Heroes vs. Villains' battle began as Maki and Momo entered the building and were scouting the area.

Momo and Maki's lips were sealed, Izuku had already told them that the teachers were planning to listen to what they discussed.

So they simply talked with each other through the mental chip in their head, thus during the whole time Maki and Momo stayed quiet, which made the students confused as to why they weren't discussing anything, while the teachers thought they were getting overconfident not discussing any plan.

As Katsuki and Kazuki went inside the building, tensions rose. Momo and Maki who discussed their plan in their mind – a strategy born from Momo's tactical mind and Maki's ability to exploit fears, approved by Izuku started implementing it.

The trial began, and Katsuki, eager to prove himself and release his frustration, launched an explosive attack in the building, followed by a blast-propelled flight. However, Momo's quick thinking created barriers to deflect the blasts, and from the smoke of the explosion emerged Maki who used her Cursed Eye to induce illusions, disrupting Katsuki's focus upon seeing Maki come in front of her all of a sudden, unable to stop his movements mid-flight, he met Maki's eyes and ended up seeing his worst nightmares.

In a surprising turn, Kazuki found himself attacked by multiple boogies from everywhere, courtesy of various traps Momo had spread around the building, as Kazuki felt overwhelmed by the amount of incoming projectiles, plus the burden from using his quirk courtesy of previous OFA users, Kazuki was momentarily immobilized, enough for Maki to step in and put him in the same state as Bakugo is.

As Katsuki and Kazuki struggled, Maki intensified her Cursed Eye, projecting vivid nightmares tailored to both the wannabe hero's fears. Katsuki, momentarily paralyzed by visions of overwhelming defeat suffered at the hands of Izuku, also saw a dream where Izuku could be seen laughing at the sufferings, followed by Izuku beating him to a pulp using just his hands, while Bakugo can't even use his quirk,

Kazuki, lost in an illusion where he saw dead Izuku coming out of his grave as he played all the memories they had before quirk awakening, as Izuku demanded answers, "Why Kazuki? Why did you do what you did, what about the promises we made, what about our team, what about being number 1 hero together,"

Dead Izuku reminded him of everything they did together and questioned every unfulfilled promise along with it demanded answers for all the bullying he had to go through, all this left Kazuki completely immobilized, along with dead eyes, heavy breathing, and when unable to answer the questions, dead Izuku brought many hands from the ground as all of the hands pulled Kazuki into the same grave Izuku came out from.

Momo seized the opportunity, using her Creation Quirk to conjure restraints that ensnared Katsuki and Kazuki. Despite their combined attempts to break free, the nightmare they just saw cut their strength in half, as Momo's versatile creations held them at bay.

After bringing them to a blind spot in the building devoid of cameras and bugs, Maki said in a really cold tone, "This is just the beginning, we'll make your lives a living hell, we'll make you suffer more than you made him suffer."

"Who? What are you talking about you bitch," shouted Bakugo.

Being called bitch didn't go well with Maki and Momo who were doing their best to control their anger, as they snapped and both the girls used their enhanced strength and side-kicked both Bakugo and Kazuki from either side, making both the restrained pieces of shit hit their heads against each other so hard that they lost consciousness.

Luckily or unluckily they were facing Maki and Momo or we would have witnessed Naruto Sasuke kiss once again.

"Now now girls, calm down both of you, no need to take at heart the words of soon-to-be deadmen, after all, they are just unwanted garbage, and there will be many opportunities for you to bully them." Said Izuku calming both the girls down

To the people watching the match from the video room, for them, the match ended as soon as it started. In a stunning display of coordination, Maki and Momo easily overcame the hero duo.

Kazuki and Bakugo were dragged and thrown out of the building just like a housewife throws dust out of the house after cleaning the house as they both dusted their hands giving each other high fives. The villains secured the nuclear core effortlessly, leaving their classmates and teachers in awe.

The surveillance room buzzed with amazement as the monitors displayed the swift and effective defeat of Katsuki and Kazuki. The unexpected outcome left the students and teachers contemplating the strength of strategy and the synergy between Momo's creations and Maki's psychological prowess, and the true extent of their powers.

When they gained victory without discussing a single word or making any plan, yet working in perfect sync. No one knew it was Izuku who coordinated with both the girls and guided them to their victory.

All Might, observing the battle, had a defeated sigh, seeing his son lose so easily without being able to do a single thing, yet he couldn't do anything about it, since he knew that he was partly to be blamed for this, as ever since he left the vestige world he could see the effect of the burden of OFA on Kazuki yet he couldn't do anything about it.

He also acknowledged the brilliance of Momo and Maki's teamwork. The Battle Trial had turned into a showcase of brilliance, challenging preconceptions and illustrating that victory wasn't solely reliant on raw power.

Other students also gave their battle trials, similar to the canon, not noteworthy, or maybe just the author is lazy.

Now was time for class 1B to give their battle Trials.

Class 1A gave exams in the first half of the school, while Class 1B is now giving battle trials in the second half of the school after the lunch break.

Class 1-B stood ready for the Battle Trial, eager to showcase their abilities. Among them was Toji Yamikumo aka Izuku, known for his Glitch Quirk, who is paired with Yui Kodai. As the heroes, their opponents, villains Pony Tsunotori and Juzo, awaited them inside the building.

Since Toji didn't want to give Yui the mental chip, he just discussed what they were going to do.

The trial began, and Toji instantly held Yui close to him as he simply teleported Yui and himself just below the room where the bomb was hidden.

Izuku took out small hooks from his pocket and asked Yui to make them bigger. Yui enlarged the toy hooks, now suitable for a person to hold.

Then, Izuku threw them up. They turned out to be suction handles, like the ones thieves use in sci-fi movies to stick to walls. Izuku jumped up, hanging to the hooks, as he brought his legs up, wearing the handles like slippers. Once confirmed that he wouldn't fall, he stood up, standing upside down like Spider-Man does, but with tech. Once ready he signalled Yui to jump.

Though unsure, Yui jumped, and Izuku held her by the waist. Then keeping her steady, he adjusted his posture once again as he held the suction handle with his one hand while still holding Yui by the waist with his other, freeing his legs, hanging from the ceiling as before. Then, he instructed her, "Now, shrink this whole ceiling as small as you can."

Yui, although hesitant, nodded as she tried her best to shrink the floor, while Izuku held her closely by her waist such that their bodies touched each other.

Yui had a blush on her face, as she couldn't calm down, her face was beet red, her heart beating like crazy, and her mind was filled with thoughts no one should have in the middle of battle, in her case during an exam, her being an introvert just made it even more, worse, still since she was in the middle of the training and knew she was being watched at by others, she calmed down and did what Izuku asked for.

Soon the whole ground started shaking for Juzo and Pony as they didn't understand what happened all of a sudden.

The ground all of a sudden started vanishing for them and the rocket aka the bomb also started shaking in a matter of moments, and soon the rocket, Juzo, and Pony all fell down, as the ground vanished, while Toji jumped before the ceiling above him vanished as he landed on the ground and Yui fell and Toji caught her in a princess carry making it into a romantic scenery.

"Is this a porno or some movie, don't they realize this is a battle trial and not a romance battle" commented Vlad King while the Boys felt jealous about how smooth Toji was being, while girls had stars in their eyes, they found new gossip and a target to tease.

Toji, still holding Yui in Princess carry, teleported to the edge of the room as they saw Pony and Juzo land on their asses, while the bomb fell above them. Toji, still holding Yui, went to the bomb as Yui touched the bomb.

Siren was heard as Toji and Yui's victory was declared as he gently let Yui down who had smoke coming out of her head and ears, it was as if her dream came true, that too just on the second day.

Ohhh, did I forget to mention that Daddy Fushiguro is the eye candy of the whole class 1B, drawing secret admiration from the girls, Yui was among them, just less vocal.

Now after Yui had a romantic moment with him which all of the girls craved, she knew she was going to be the target of all the girls, yet she didn't care about it at all.

The girls sitting had agreed to do a round table conference to decide who would date him.

As far as the boys were concerned, well let's just say Toji didn't care at all, did they have the guts to stand against the person who came first in not just the entrance exam but also in yesterday's quirk apprehension test, the star student of UA, I don't think so.
