"Hmph, don't worry about it," Mary snorted coldly, refusing to meet Spider-Man's gaze.
"It was Peter who asked me to save you, Mary. How could you do this to Peter?" Christopher interjected, attempting to mediate the tension between Spider-Man and Mary.
"He wouldn't have, if he hadn't offended Professor Lizard, would Professor Lizard kidnap me?" Mary retorted angrily.
"I'm sorry, Mary. I caused you trouble," Spider-Man apologized guiltily.
"No need. Just stay away from me," Mary replied bluntly. This incident taught her a valuable lesson: when seeking a partner, it's essential to find someone responsible.
Unlike Spider-Man, who seemed oblivious to the consequences of his actions, Christopher was more calculated in his decisions, Mary noted.
Feeling unfairly judged, Spider-Man fought back the urge to cry.
"Christopher, I found you," a familiar voice called out, interrupting their conversation. Christopher turned to see Natasha approaching.
Mary instinctively clung to Christopher's arm, feeling threatened by Natasha's presence. "Who is she?" she asked.
"She's Natasha. Don't mess with her; she's powerful," Christopher warned.
"Do you like her?" Mary inquired, her tone serious.
Natasha, seizing the opportunity to tease, clapped her hands mockingly. "Well, well, Christopher, stealing Spider-Man's girlfriend? How bold of you!"
Embarrassed, Spider-Man excused himself. "I have things to do. Goodbye," he muttered before hastily leaving the scene.
Christopher clarified, "Mary and I have an open relationship. Don't jump to conclusions."
"Do you love Christopher?" Natasha probed with a smile.
Mary nodded emphatically. "Yes, I do."
"Does Christopher really love you?" Natasha inquired with a playful grin, her eyes sparkling with mischief.
Mary lifted her gaze, pondering for a moment before softly uttering, "Love."
"But he claimed to love me at the bar, and now this? What's the deal?" Natasha's voice dripped with resentment, her brows furrowing in frustration.
"What?" Mary's eyes widened in shock, her head snapping up to meet Christopher's gaze. With a tinge of jealousy, she exclaimed, "Christopher, you treat a woman like her well, but neglect me. It's infuriating!"
"Perhaps I'm just prettier than you!" Natasha retorted, tossing her hair with a hint of narcissism.
Undaunted, Mary puffed out her chest and declared, "But I've got more to offer than just looks."
As tensions escalated, Christopher, exasperated by the squabble between the two women, decided to make a swift exit.
Christopher shot a strand of spider silk toward a nearby skyscraper, soaring into the sky and swiftly swinging away.
"Christopher, wait! Don't leave me behind!" Mary pleaded, chasing after him like a forsaken daughter-in-law.
Meanwhile, Natasha, ever resourceful, hopped onto a sleek motorcycle, revved the engine, and sped off in hot pursuit of Christopher.
Despite Christopher's ability to navigate effortlessly with his spider silk, Natasha proved relentless, eventually tracking him down in a helicopter.
With a resounding thud, Natasha landed on the rooftop, rolling to absorb the impact before standing tall before Christopher.
"Christopher, I have something important to discuss," Natasha stated with utmost seriousness.
"Go on," Christopher urged, his tone revealing his impatience.
"SHIELD is deeply displeased with your recent conduct. Your failure to intervene in situations involving Doctor Octopus and others has endangered countless lives," Natasha explained gravely.
Christopher's frustration simmered beneath the surface. "Can't I exercise restraint when necessary?" he retorted.
Natasha shook her head firmly. "As a SHIELD agent, your primary duty is to safeguard humanity. Failure to uphold this responsibility could result in severe consequences. The director has warned that further negligence may lead to the termination of your agent status."
Christopher shrugged indifferently. "Fine, whatever," he muttered nonchalantly, dismissing the gravity of the situation.
The value of SHIELD's identity had almost dwindled for Christopher, making it inconsequential whether he retained it or not.
Natasha's surprise was evident as she inquired, "You - you no longer wish to be a SHIELD agent?"
"Let's not dwell on that, Natasha. Instead, can you acquire vibranium?" Christopher interjected.
Had he been able to obtain vibranium, he wouldn't have underestimated ten SHIELDs.
"Why do you seek vibranium? It's scarce. SHIELD possesses only a scant amount, insufficient even for crafting a dagger," Natasha queried curiously.
"If you could assist me in acquiring even a small portion of vibranium, I'd be deeply indebted," Christopher responded.
"If it's merely a small quantity of vibranium, it's feasible. However, how do you plan to repay me this time?" Natasha replied softly, resolving not to be duped by Christopher once more.
Suddenly, a call echoed out—
Optimus descended from the sky, landing beside Christopher. Optimus's commanding voice resonated, "Master, I am at your service."
Natasha's eyes gleamed as she beheld the Optimus. Though she possessed limited knowledge of them, she had gleaned from videos the immense power they wielded in the movies. Transforming into airplanes, heavy trucks, and humanoid robots, their might was evident, capable even of halting a speeding train. They far surpassed Iron Man's robots in sophistication.
Pointing eagerly at the Optimus, she exclaimed, "I want that one!"
Christopher nodded assent without hesitation, "Certainly, once you provide the vibranium, this one is yours."
Christopher harbored dissatisfaction with the prototype body of transformer, despite his superiority over Iron Man's creations.
He deemed them lacking in energy, defense, attack capabilities, and too cumbersome to transport.
Even if he gives this one to Natasha it's not if much use without an AI like Optimus, but he won't just say that out front. He will fool Natasha just like the last time with the supercomputer.
When he gets his hand on Vibranium he could just use it to make the new body of Optimus and hell he could even create an entire legion of Vibranium Transformers by using Pym Particles to make an unlimited supply of Vibranium. Thus, he remained indifferent.
Even if Iron Man were to offer vibranium in exchange for Optimus, Christopher would readily agree. With vibranium, he could fashion the most advanced Optimus in the cosmos.
"Can I take Optimus and return to SHIELD. The vibranium is stored there," Natasha urged impatiently.
A Optimus in exchange for a mere speck of vibranium seemed grossly disproportionate. While vibranium held significant value, SHIELD's inability to weaponize it meant it didn't command much regard. Otherwise, Natasha wouldn't possess the confidence to obtain such a prized substance.
"Optimus, comply with Miss Natasha for now," Christopher commanded.
"As you wish, my lord," Optimus acquiesced before addressing Natasha, "Greetings, Miss Natasha. I am honored to serve you."
Natasha beamed with delight at the Optimus's intelligence and requested in a gentle tone, "Take me back to SHIELD, please."
