Chapter 57. The First Battle

Sending the ninja in front of him flying, Luke Cage didn't dodge the sharp blade coming at him. With a dull slash, the ninja sword in the minion's hand broke in two. No wounds appeared on Luke's body, apart from his torn clothes.

After giving herself a pep talk, Jessica looked down at her hands and felt the superhuman strength they contained before walking into Midland Circle Financial's office.

When she walked into Midland Circle Financial, Jessica initially felt that the company was a little less populated than she had imagined. When she walked in just like that, no one came forward to stop her.

However, she soon understood why the front hall was so empty.

With a sudden loud noise, a hole suddenly appeared in the wall in front of Jessica, and a guy dressed as a ninja flew out of the hole.
