The commotion Dio caused was no small one, especially with the indiscriminate shooting from the armoured tank he was driving, which caused a flash of anger in Schmidt's eyes.

Dio's destructive methods at the base were seen on the monitors. Before Johann Schmidt could give the order, another large group of captured US soldiers were seen running out of the base. Their presence made an already confusing battle situation a little more chaotic.

"it looks like there was more than one intruder in the base."

Thinking of that, Schmidt glanced at the monitors in the control room and soon noticed Steve's figure.

"The so-called Captain America..."

Schmidt obviously despised the successful test subject of the Super Soldier serum.

On the monitor, Steve was constantly fighting off the Hydra soldiers who were rushing towards him.

Most of the Hydra soldiers inside the base had been injected with vampire blood under Schmidt's arrangement and had become ghouls. However, it was clear that the strength of these transformed soldiers alone couldn't stop Steve's pace. Even though these soldiers had already acquired considerable strength under the effect of the vampire blood, there was still a considerable gap between them and Steve, who had been fully fortified with the Super Soldier Serum.

Hearing these words from Schmidt, Dr Zola's expression changed. Looking somewhat reluctant.

When Steve saw the information, he was about to say something but immediately thought of the Hydra agent he had encountered earlier and remembered how he had turned into charcoal in the sun.
