"You can't imagine the extent of the suffering and heartache I've endured since Lilian resurfaced. I wish she would just disappear and let me find peace. Alex used to truly love me until this illegitimate daughter of my father reentered his life. Now, whenever we're intimate, he only speaks her name. He no longer looks at me because he has Lilian to fulfill him now," Isabel lamented, wiping away her insincere tears.
"This is the final straw," Camille shouted angrily. Lilian had betrayed those who had supported her and had gone too far by engaging in a relationship with her son-in-law.
Camille contemplated what she could do to ensure Lilian stayed away from Alex for good. However, she first needed to discuss with her daughter the reason for inviting her over.
"We can discuss Lilian another time. The reason I asked you to lunch, Isabel, is to talk about your plans for having a baby," Camille said.
