Invasion

Ming Yue didn't even spare a second to think, looking out of the window and staring up at the giant Spatial Crack. 

The energy within it swirled about ominously as something flew out. 

She stared at it, trying to see exactly what it was. 

However, this single shadow wasn't the only thing that came out. 

More flying creatures started flooding out before a massive beast emerged, flying over the city. And then there were more, much more.

"Oh no, it's finally begun."

Both scholars looked out as well, their faces were pale while their expressions full od fear. 

Suddenly, war horns blared out, echoing across the giant city as the ground hummed. Something started to glow beneath them, a massive formation that spawned not one but a total of five barriers. Each one covered a city layer.
