Chapter 64- Lacking

While Luffy had his fight, the rest of the Straw Hats didn't sit idly. They stormed the Warships with the Skypieans, each going to a different ship. Unfortunately, their movement was caught by the Vice-Admirals on the main ship, who gave chase as they were far more useful taking on the other Straw Hats than being bearly a support in the fight against Luffy.

Zoro flew to a Warship next to Luffy's with the help of a Dial jet pack and was greeted by a small army of Marines, luckily, he had a jet pack army of his own. The two sides clashed, fire, water, thunder, winds, and bullets flying everywhere. Zoro, though, was standing before his opponent.

The vice admiral that came to face Zoro was Onigumo {Did my research this time!} A tall man that wore a gray suit over a green shirt and white necktie, he wore long, black, pants and a signature Marine justice coat on his shoulders. He wore an ancient war helmet with a red plume. The man suddenly sprouted six extra arms from his back, each one pulling out a sword from the fallen Marines and Skyrpieans around the two, and covering it with Armament Haki. {Ok, unlike my other fight scene, I can't promise anything with this since It's so weird and I can't describe it well since I don't want to write a ten thousand word essay about sword movement from ten arms and a mouth. This fight scene will be mostly psychological, explaining the thought prosses of the characters more than their actions themselves. I hope it comes out fine}

Zoro, in the meanwhile, pulled out his three swords and got into his signature stance while covering them with Armament Haki. The two dashed at each other, meeting with a fierce clash in the middle. The swords connected with sparks flying in the air, Zoro against Onigumo, but one outnumbered the other. In the middle of the clash, one of Onigumo's free hands shot a sword at Zoro's exposed head. Exploiting his flaw.

In Zoro's style, his head carried an extra sword. This way he could overwhelm his opponents with attacks from unique directions, but it also meant his head had predictable patterns of movement as he needed to attack and defend with it. Zoro jumped back, barely avoiding the blade.

Onigumo didn't let him rest, however, as he came charging with his ten arms spread all around him, covering every blind spot and ready to attack every blind spot that Zoro had allowed to exist. The first stab came for Zoro's liver, a second for his left lung, a third and fourth came at his neck. Zoro blocked the first stab with his right sword, but then he realized the trap he fell into.

Zoro could block the strike to his left lung with his left sword, but it would leave his neck defenseless as he can't defend against it with his mouth, not against two stabs coming at the same time since he could only block vertically. If he blocked one, the other would hit. If he blocked it with his left sword, his lung would be as good as gone. He couldn't retreat, since he already took a stance for blocking and Onigumo would never let him make such a risky maneuver without inflicting him with a serious injury. With each one of the three leading to a bad situation, Zoro chose the fourth.

Thanks to his unique sword style, Zoro's neck was incredibly flexible and powerful. As such, he decided to block the two stabs at his neck by tilting his left sword horizontally and blocking with it, while inserting the blade in his mouth between the gap of his elbow, forearm, and chest. Bearly blocking the liver stab. Too bad that Onigumo had more than four arms.

Another three strikes came at Zoro's legs, attempting to cripple him. Zoro, however, changed his stance while Onigumo got his second wave of attacks ready. Zoro committed to his left side, purposely bending and falling over, using his left shoulder to transition into a diagonal roll while the blades missed his legs by a hair's width. During their quick exchange, Zoron noticed a flaw in Onigumo's extra hands. They were build so that they could bend forwards towards opponents facing Onigumo, but their elbows didn't allow them to bend backward to strike down opponents aiming at his rear.

Zoro completed his roll, and Onigumo was stuck with his stabbing momentum as he stopped his blades from getting stuck in the wood and quickly started turning around. that quick second was all Zoro needed. Zoro dashed forward, lifting his right sword overhead and bringing down the blade on Onigumo's right arms. Onigumo couldn't react to Zoro's speed in time, and the blade took off his upper arm before Onigumo turned around and lifted one of his swords to block the strike.

Onigumo didn't hold back anymore. He attacked with five of his made-up arms, leaving his two originals for defense. Zoro leaned back to avoid a slash at his neck, only to duck when a stab aimed at his left eye almost reached his target. Zoro couldn't regain his balance and he stumbled backward, so he stabbed his swords in the wood. Zoro used his swords' stability to lift himself in the air in a handstand and spin back as he kicked Onigumo's chin while three lower body attacks passed beneath him. Zoro completed the somersault-like motion with his hands pulling the swords out of the ground at the end.

The maneuver made some space between the two, and Zoro used it to go on the offensive. Zoro dashed at Onigumo as the two began to exchange strikes once more. But with no one the wiser, Zoro's swords suddenly started to foster little cracks.
