A few days later...
(In the royal hall)
"Here, I'm returning it," Eleanor said as she handed Cameron the red gem.
"You've decided to give it back?" Cameron asked.
Eleanor then nodded and told him that she now has realized that she was fooled by his father. She accepted the fact that she wouldn't ever get to see her parents again.
"Do you know what it means when you've returned the red gem to me?" Cameron smiled.
Eleanor looked away. "I know. You get to leave."
"Do you want me to?"
"Of course not!"
"Then what will I do here? I have a kingdom to rule."
"We have no choice. I guess this is goodbye."
Cameron then tilted his head towards her direction. "I can stay until we've figured everything out."
"Really?"
"Only in one condition." Cameron smirked. "Beg me."
Eleanor looked at him and shouted, "You! I won't do that!"
"Then I won't stay," Cameron responded.
"It's fine with me. You can leave."
"You're quite tough to deal with."
"Start packing your things. I'll see you—"
As the princess kept laughing, Cameron suddenly pulled her by the waist, lifted her chin, lowered his head, and captured her lips with his. "Stop kissing me," Eleanor said with her lips close to his, and then kissed him passionately.
"You're getting on my nerves," Cameron responded.
"I'm just going with the flow," the princess said as she wrapped her arms around his neck.
"I'm not liking it."
"You started it, so I won't be the one ending it."
"You really want me to leave that bad?"
"Why would I? I love you."
Cameron asked, "How long would you want me to stay then?"
Eleanor replied, "As long as you can, but your sister might be worried about you."
"She has Adam, she won't."
Meanwhile...
(At the royal garden)
"Why does that fool keep accusing me?" Olivia cried.
"Don't worry. I'll do everything to prove your innocence," Carson comforted.
"There isn't any proof! I really have nothing to do with them!"
"I believe you."
"No one else does."
Carson then reminded her that Cameron and Eleanor believed her, but Olivia just got angrier. She couldn't get why Leo suspected her. She served the Water kingdom for eight years and yet she was the number one suspect.
Carson grabbed her shoulders. "Look, you have to stay strong."
Olivia looked down. "There's no reason to—"
"Olivia, please go back to work," a woman suddenly interrupted.
Olivia bowed. "Yes, Alice."
"Why should she? Isn't it her break?" Carson asked.
Alice answered, "She won't have any break if she doesn't complete her work."
"Leave."
"Your majesty, I'm just doing my—"
"I said leave."
"Yes, your highness."
When Alice left, Carson told her that he was taking her as his wife since she hated seeing her being treated that way. Olivia then laughed and told him that she was used to it, but Carson kept telling her how much her life will change once she marries him.
"Look, I don't want to be seen as a woman who married you for money."
"You aren't."
Olivia stated, "I won't marry you."
Carson laughed. "Don't decide that easily. I'll give you some time—"
"I'm serious. I really won't marry you," Olivia said. "Not at this time."
"Then what do you want?"
"I want to stay as a maid, so please do not intervene with my work."
"Then work for me! You won't have to worry about anything!"
Olivia sighed, "I want to work at the Water kingdom."
"Look, I can't stay here forever. How will we be able to see each other if we're apart?" Carson asked.
"Carson, please."
Carson then pulled her into a hug. "I'm sorry for forcing you. I promise to support you in everything you do from this day onwards. I don't want to lose you."
Olivia rolled her eyes. "Whatever."
