Ch.4: Apperance.

A thin, white teenager with messy silver hair and brown eyes. 'Why do I look like this? This isn't me at all...'

Clay thought to himself, touching over his face while looking into a mirror placed in the corner of the operating room. 'I used to only have brown hair and brown eyes like dad, but now..'

It was like he was an entirely different person.

'I'm handsome now. Like, I looked alright before, but now, I'm on the level of Chris Hemsworths..' He then looked to his side and down at the little girl who hadn't stopped looking at him ever since they've crossed paths.

'Eve...you're really 3 years old now..'

He was unconscious for 3 years, having the accident in 2019. 3 years passed with him going through one of the worlds longest surgeries, lasting an entire week, just for him to be stabilize.

After that, it was up to himself to recover and pull through. 'I'm 19 in body, but still 16 mentally. How does one process all of this..' Looking up at her big brother, she didn't think much of him.

She obviously can't remember what he looked like before, how he acted before, so they could technically make a fresh new start.

'I wanted a second chance at life really only to see her grow up and do amazing things. I've already missed her first few years growing up, seeing her walk or talk for the first time and other things as well..'

He kneeled down, picked her up and held her, then stretched back up. "Eve, I'm Clay, your older brother. Do you...remember me...?" She shook her head no which was saddening, but okay since it worked in his favor.

"That's...good. Because before this incident, I was just your average forgettable joe.."

He cleared his throat and continued. "But now, your brother got a chance to be a new person. I'll be there to play with you, to laugh with you, to cry with you. I'll be the best big brother you've ever seen. I just...can you just please, give me the chance...to do so?"

She took no time in agreeing, kissing him directly on the lips as a seal of approval. Taken back by this, he instinctively pulled away, covering his mouth while watching her giggle.

'I didn't expect her to he so straightforward. Why is she this attached to me tho..?'

"We told her of all your heroics, Clay.." His father came up and took her away, complimenting his strength of being able to hold a human toddler with one hand.

"How you were the smartest person in school. How you used to play with the children down at the orphanage. All these stories made her look up to you like some sort of hero.."

His mom teased Eve as his father explained. 'So that's why, huh? Thanks for making me a nice guy in her eyes..'

"!"

Visible realization came to Eve as she blurted, "Yes, mommy and daddy told me about you! Kway, you liar! You aren't forgettable!" Seeing her semi-angry was cute in it's own, so the family couldn't help but chuckle.

'Nah, but in all seriousness, she forgot about the stories they told until just now. Really enforces what I said, I guess..' He came up to Eve and said, "Yeah, guess I forgot about all of that. Strange, isn't it..?"

Eve nodded gently as she grabbed his hand and placed it on her face. "Kway, we weally missed you... Pwease don't leave us agwen..." Their parents smiled while Clay slightly frowned. He was of course happy to hear her words, but..

'On the low, I used to think of life as nothing but a game. One with no clear purpose, but to live then die.

Who would've known...that's there more to it than just that..'

"I...won't. I promise you...that I won't.." Her smile softened ever further as she heard her brothers words. It was the first time she's ever experience these types of emotions.

She's only ever saw sad looks from her parents, Eve herself not understanding why.

But now she knew. Clay just meant that much to them. Seeing him alive, seeing him with vigor, seeing a new light in his eyes,... These were all things that made them extremely happy, including herself.

"Well then son, let's get you outta those clothes. Sure your starving as well so let's go out for a bite, shall we?"

Kazemi Ozerden. A well-known detective in the City of Silver. He's a 6'2 japanese man who has brown hair and eyes, and is, like mentioned before, very handsome for his ripe age of 42. In Clay's eyes, he's a hero for all the justice he brings about.

From solving serial killer cases to kidnappings, his father became known as 'Silver Justice' all throughout the city.

'Dad involves himself in a lot of cases. At work, he's a hard working man, but when he's at home and with his family, he's nothing more than a big baby.'

"Clay, dear. I'll buy you anything you want. But only for today, okay?"

Heather Ozerden. An American woman who's the CEO of a modeling agency. About 5'9, Golden, luscious hair with deep blue eyes. She's 42 as well and has done a great deal of achievements in her life.

From discovering new sea life to inventing all sorts of skin care that actually works, she's a public figure that everyone loves. 'Mom's also very beautiful, so people would hear her out even if she plans on destroying the world..'

"Sounds like a plan. Let's hurry though. I wanna see how much the worlds changed..."

Grabbing Eve from his mom, he put her into a comfortable position, then began strutting off. His parents continued smiling upon the scene of finally seeing their children so happy.

One who's seemingly reborn.

The other, now filled with a new love that's never been experienced.

They thought to themselves that they were the happiest parents on Earth right now.
