JAYB's POV

"I'm SO not ready for this." I said as I paced around the room.

Alpha is officially back for business. We continued with our promotions since there were still a few more songs to promote. We still had so many preparations to do. Once our promotions this month were over, we'd be very busy with our practices for our first world tour. Zhang is still out of commission, but the good news was he was slowly getting better. With the help of the serum and rehabilitation, he'd be back in a week or so. The bad news was, the entire group voted for me to replace and sing his lines in our songs for the meantime. We were doing "Pretty U" which was a good song overall. But Zhang's parts were just… crazy high.

"Will you stop? You're making me feel dizzy from all this walking." Seiji-hyung complained as he massaged his temples.

Jeong Do approached me and sat me down. "Calm down. We've been practicing for days now. You'll be fine."

"That's the thing! We've ONLY been practicing for DAYS. Zhang-ie practiced his lines for MONTHS!" I complained.

Jiwoo chuckled. "I never thought I'd see the day where JayB-hyung would complain a lot."

Zee stopped playing his game and tossed it to me. "Here. It'll help you take your mind off of things."

I sighed and tossed Zee back his game. "I don't need it. I'll still overthink while playing."

He rolled his eyes. "Suit yourself, hyung. I'm on the final stage anyway. I just wanted to see if you still play games. Guess not."

Matt-hyung gave me a cup of tea. "It's Valerian root tea. It'll calm you down."

"Thanks, hyung." I gave him a smile.

"Hey guys!" Sana greeted as she entered our dressing room with the rest of Twice except for Chaeyoung who was taking care of Zhang today. Momo and Jihyo had other schedules as well.

"You alright?" Nayeon approached me as she lightly slapped my back.

I sighed. "No… definitely not."

"What's wrong with him?" Mina asked Dominic.

Dominic laughed. "He's chickening out since he's taking Zhang-ie's parts for today's performance."

The rest of Twice gave an "Oh" sound indicating that they understood the situation. I snapped my head towards Dominic. "It's not just today's performance I'm worried about. I'm worried about EVERY performance until Zhang-ie comes back."

"Relax, he'll be back in a week." Jeong Do assured as he chuckled.

"That's still a problem. Do you know how many times we'll perform this week? Sixteen times!" I complained again.

"Seventeen actually. If you include the Gala that we're performing in." Jiwoo added.

I turn my head to Jiwoo. "Not helping."

Yo Chul-hyung sighed. "Dahyun-ah, talk some sense to your husband please?"

We both turned to each other but she quickly looked away. Ever since that last Sunday, things were a little bit awkward around Dahyun-ah. It was always push and pull between us, and yet here we go again. It's all because we watched that one particular episode of the drama where I had my kissing scene. She insisted that we watch it together with Chaeyoung and Zhang. She was practically silent the entire time. We haven't spoken properly since then. She wasn't avoiding me. She wasn't also ignoring me. It was just… awkward.

"Hubby… you can do it…" She shyly said.

"Alright." I plainly replied.

Everyone in the room was alternately looking at me and Dahyun. They knew that something was up. Jeongyeon slightly snickered. "What's wrong with you two?"

"Nothing!" We both yelled at the same time before we faced each other and blushed.

"There's definitely something wrong with the two of you." Tzuyu continued.

Just as they were about to start interrogating, the stage manager knocked on the door and opened it. "Ten minutes until showtime. We need you backstage now."

"Well, that's our cue! Let's go guys!" I hurriedly said as I escaped through the door.

"This conversation is not over." Sana said as she grabbed my shoulder.

I gulped. "Yes, ma'am."

_________

"JayB-ssi, please stop shaking so much. I'm trying to see if your IEM pack is working." Yang Yaera, who was one of our new secondary managers, said.

We were backstage and there were just a few more minutes before we would start performing "Pretty U" for the second time since we released it. My members were all either warming up or checking their equipment with the other managers. Yaera was still trying her best to get my pack to work. It's been faulty lately but the company would replace it after our performance today.

"Sorry, Yaera-noona. I'm just REALLY nervous." I told her.

She giggled. "It's unusual for you to be nervous. What's on your mind?"

I sighed. "It's Zhang-ie's parts that I'm really worried about. I'm just not sure if I can do this right."

She stood up after fixing my pack and patted my shoulder from behind. "You'll be fine. I've watched you practice your butt off for this comeback and I know you're going to do well."

"Thanks, noona." I replied but I was still pretty nervous.

She smiled. "You're good to go. I'll head to the tech booth now to double check on your mics. Make sure you calm down before you go up on stage."

"Will do." I answered.

"Everything alright?" Matt-hyung approached me and lightly slapped my arm.

I nodded. "Kind of. But not really."

He chuckled. "Why is it that when you're nervous, everyone becomes nervous too?"

I laughed. "That's SO not true."

"It is! Look!" He pointed at Zee who was trying to recall his lines. Yo Chul-hyung was doing the same. Seiji-hyung was pacing around. Jiwoo and Dominic we're practicing the choreography. And lastly, Jeong Do was practicing his high pitched lines.

I sighed. "Don't worry. I'll probably be okay once I'm on stage."

Matt-hyung patted my arm. "You'll be fine."

"I hope so." I muttered.

"JayB-oppa…" A voice called out from behind me.

I turn around to see Dahyun behind me. "Dahyun-ie! What are you doing here? Is everything alright?"

She rubbed her elbow and averted her gaze. "Y-Yeah… listen…"

"One minute more to go! We need Alpha here on stage!" One of the stage managers announced.

I smiled at Dahyun. "I'll talk to you later. Okay?"

I was about to run up on stage when I felt her arms wrap around me from behind. "You're going to do great. I know it."

I slowly turned around as she slid her hands to hold mine. "Thank you, Dahyun-ie. That means a lot."

She smiled. "Now go. The stage manager's going to get mad if you're not yet on stage." I nodded before she leaned in to whisper something. "I'll give you a reward if you DO nail all of Zhang-oppa's parts."

My eyes widened with what she just said. With a wink, she turned around and left. What was that all about? Seriously, her personality and mood changes so quickly. Her members must have talked to her about it. Well, whatever it is, I'm just glad that we weren't awkward around each other anymore. Well, kind of.

"JayB-ssi! What are you doing? Thirty seconds more to go!" The stage manager scolded.

"Coming!" I snapped out of my trance and jogged up the stage towards my spot.

My members looked at me as I gave them a reassuring smile. They knew that I finally calmed down. I could hear them chuckling through my IEM. It was at that moment where I knew that this performance would turn out fine. The cue for our music started playing.

[Alpha Team! Yeah!]

Yo Chul-hyung revealed himself as we split up our formation and that's when he started rapping.

[Got much to say but can't organize them

Help me SOS

1, 2, 3, 4]

Dominic started singing his lines as he appeared behind the couch. Yes, we're using a couch as a prop. It's the first time that we're doing a theatrical type of choreography to our song. But nonetheless, people still loved it.

[What kind of expression can deliver my heart?

Should I take my heart out to copy and paste on you?]

Jeong Do appeared behind the couch as he slid from side to side.

[Appeared magically on one fine day

Took my heart and attracted my eyes

You're a grabber]

Zee sat up from the couch and started rapping his parts.

[What I want to say is

Don't take this the wrong way

But I can't see but you

You so ice ice baby

At the same time you melt me down

Just can't get enough

I wanna show you me without hiding anything]

My part comes next and as I was about to sing, I noticed some of the members of Twice in front of the crowd. Dahyun was also among them. I smiled as I confidently sang Zhang's parts while Seiji-hyung appeared to sing the last line.

My parts:

[We chose each other

And focus on by nano unit

When I see you

It's breathtaking]

Seiji-hyung:

[Normally I'm not like this]

Matt-hyung stood in front and center as he prepared to lead the crowd for the chorus. The crowd was already enjoying the performance so far. Even though this was still the second time we performed this song live, they seemed to have memorized the lyrics to it.

[I wanna pick and gather all sweet words for you

They stick in my throat in front of you]

My part came next and I looked at Dahyun and gave her a wink. I knew by the way she reacted that she was happy about it.

[I promise to myself

While drinking a glass of water in the morning]

Dominic finished the chorus with a wide smile as he gazed at his girlfriend.

[I will confess what has been on the tip of my tongue tomorrow

You are pretty]

The second verse came in smoothly as we all sang our parts carefully. My throat was becoming more dry by the second. Having a lot of parts to sing while dancing is definitely taking its toll on me. I need to do some body conditioning after today. Still, my members were really having fun and so did the crowd. It's what drove me to do even better and to enjoy the performance rather than overthink.

Jiwoo, Yo Chul-hyung and Zee did really well with their lines before the bridge came. I even gave them a wide smile when they noticed me stare at them.

Jiwoo:

[I can't take it no more

I got something to say]

Zee:

[I can't take it no more

I'm gonna say it right now]

Jiwoo

[I can't take it no more

I'm about to write a letter]

Yo Chul-hyung:

[I can't take it anymore

I can't stand it anymore]

Jeong Do placed his arm over my shoulder as we walked forward before I started singing my lines.

[Baby you're my lady

I am running to your heart]

Jeong Do lifted his microphone as he was staring happily at Sana.

[ Baby I'm almost there, Ha ha]

As Jeong Do was singing his part I was in the background hitting the high notes. This was supposed to be Zhang's part but I ended up singing it instead. The crowd forgot to chant but instead were all screaming in amazement at how high I could sing. It was the first time they saw me sing high notes like these.

Jeong Do:

[I promise to myself

While drinking a glass of water in the morning]

Dominic and Matt-hyung sang their parts alternately as they stood up from their formation.

Matt-hyung:

[Beautiful words like the lines in the movie]

Dominic:

[The message I've prepared overnight for days]

Jeong Do went in and ended the chorus as we huddled in the middle to prepare for the dance break at the end.

[I wanna say it to you tomorrow

With my clenched fist

You are pretty]

Zee and Seiji-hyung were both smirking as they did their rap to end the song.

Zee:

[Does she love me

Does she love me not

I am counting flower petals for all day long]

Seiji-hyung:

[Does she love me

Does she love me not

What will the petals answer to me?]

We finished the song and the crowd went wild. Even my member's girlfriends were clapping and screaming out for us. They were really happy about what they saw. I guess I'm getting that reward after all. As soon as it crossed my mind, my smile widened.

________

"Dang… JayB-oppa is trending again. I wish I was there to see this LIVE though. JayB-oppa killed it!" Jihyo said as she rewatched the video with Momo, Chaeyoung and Zhang.

We were at the hospital. As soon as our schedules ended, Twice and Alpha decided to visit Zhang at the hospital. Although Dominic was against it at first since there were a lot of us and it was past visiting hours, he still gave way since he was also excited to tell Zhang about what happened today. The VIP room was huge, but it looked small as soon as we all gathered inside the room. It was the first time where we actually were complete again.

"See. I told you you could do it." Zhang smirked.

I sighed. "You guys are exaggerating things. I'm not trending, okay? And my throat still hurts from singing your lines."

"Here, hubby." Dahyun handed me a cup of tea which fit the timing.

I smiled at her and gave her a wink. "Thanks, wifey. Don't think that I forgot about that reward you promised me."

Zee pretended to barf. "Get a room, you two!"

"You're just jealous since Yuna-ya's filming MIXNINE right now." Momo rolled her eyes.

Sana snapped her head towards me. "Shouldn't JayB-oppa be at the studio for MIXNINE right now?"

Mina then crossed her arms at Zee. "And shouldn't you be at the studio as well? You need to support your girlfriend you know."

Their words made me chuckle. "I'm not needed there yet. They're at rehearsals."

Zee leaned back on his chair. "I'm not allowed to be there either. Besides, it's not like people know that I'm dating her."

Tzuyu scoffed. "Trust me. People know. And why haven't you gone public about who she is anyway? Don't you love her?"

Jiwoo held her girlfriend back. "Easy, love… It was actually Yuna-ya's decision to keep it a secret for now until she debuts."

"Sorry, Zee-oppa." Tzuyu apologized to him.

Zee smiled at her. "No harm done.

"Am I too late?" A voice sounded from the door as she peeked her head.

"My fiance is finally here." Matt-hyung stood up and greeted her with a kiss.

Jeong Do offered her a seat. "There isn't a chair anymore. You can have mine."

Lisa thanked Jeong Do. Sana turned her attention to Lisa. "So when's the wedding?"

Matt-hyung and Lisa stared at each other for a while before Lisa gave off a wry smile. "We haven't even gone public about the engagement yet."

"Really? When do you plan to do it?" Jeongyeon asked.

Matt-hyung held Lisa's hand. "Well, we agreed that we would tell our fans after they officially finish their rookie year. And we're planning to get married back home by spring next year."

"That's wonderful! It sounds so exciting!" Dahyun clasped her hands together.

Lisa noticed the ring on Dahyun's finger and smirked at her. "What about you guys? When are you planning to get married?"

Dahyun blushed and bowed her head which made everyone laugh. I decided to save her from this. "We're already married."

"Eyy… not like that. What Lisa-ya means is when are you going to hold a ceremony for it?" Yo Chul-hyung rephrased.

Dahyun smiled wryly. "The show hasn't given us any hints on that one yet. We just finished filming our second episode."

"But it's already been more than a month. I'm sure the wedding's almost there." Momo said.

"Ya! Check this out!" Zee pulled out his Holo-tab and transferred the contents to the room's holo-screen.

"My goodness…" Chaeyoung gasped.

Sana sighed. "You're truly unbelievable Jay-oppa."

Zhang smiled. "See. The fans were really happy about it."

Even though that was a compliment, I still sighed. "I know that I'm trending. But can we also talk about our world tour that's ALSO trending."

Dahyun bumped her shoulder with mine as she gave me a smile. "Lighten up. Just take the spotlight every once in a while."

Jeong Do chuckled. "That's right. Come on. Popularity for you would mean more popularity for us too JayB-ya. Relax… Why do you keep on thinking that you'd be selfish if you'll be happy for yourself?"

Again, I was number one on the trending list in Twitter. Even on Weverse I was trending. My videos from today's performance were all over the internet. I can't even describe what I was feeling. But I'm sure that this is pure joy. My members assured me that it was okay. Even Zhang was truly happy for me. We also announced our world tour today and the fans went crazy for it. Our light sticks, album and merchandise were selling rapidly in the online market.

Dahyun leaned towards my ear. "I didn't know that you could hit those high notes. You really looked so cool up on stage."

"Really?" A wide smile appeared on my face. I couldn't help it. My wife said it after all.

Dominic smirked. "Eyy… what are you two love birds talking about?"

Dahyun snapped her head towards Dominic and blushed. "Nothing."

Mina giggled and joined in on the teasing. "Well your face says otherwise."

"Unnie!" Dahyun yelled which made everyone laugh.

The door suddenly opened revealing Ming Do-hyung. "JayB-ya, it's time."

"It's that late already?" I asked.

Yo Chul-hyung raised his brow. "Where are you going?"

I smiled wryly at him. "I'm filming the last few scenes for my drama."

Jihyo smiled cockily. "Oh! I saw the episode last Saturday. I didn't know that you could be that daring even though you already have a wife."

Tzuyu leaned towards Dahyun and started teasing her. "It's only natural. Dahyun-unnie hasn't kissed him yet so of course JayB-oppa would look for someone else to kiss."

Dahyun pouted as she snapped her head towards Tzuyu. Her face had already gone red from the embarrassment. "Wha-What?! That's not true! And what do you know about kissing boys?!"

Tzuyu lightly pulled in Jiwoo for a tender kiss. Jiwoo's face was all red from the sudden gesture. Tzuyu on the other hand had a smirk on her face. "I have a boyfriend whom I've been dating for years now. You have a husband. Yet, you haven't even kissed him yet."

Matt-hyung was about to stop them but Lisa inserted herself in the conversation. "Guys! Guys! Stop teasing Dahyun-ah. Instead… why don't we ask JayB-oppa about it?"

She only made things worse as almost everyone was throwing their questions now. Matt-hyung sighed as he watched the rest do it. I smiled wryly at them. "I need to go or else I'm gonna be late."

Yo Chul-hyung scoffed. "Oh come on."

"Can I come?" Dahyun bravely asked which made everyone go quiet.

Everyone turned their heads towards her. I gave her a smile. "Sure. Why not?"

I took her hand and guided her out of the door. Before we could close it, Zee suddenly yelled. "That's right Dahyun-ah. Watch over your man and make sure he doesn't kiss anyone anymore!"

"YA!" Dahyun and I yelled at the same time.

_______

"You're here! And you must be JayB-ya's wife." Seyoung-noona smiled as she came to greet us as soon as we entered the set.

Today was the last day that I was going to be on set since I would finish filming all my scenes. I asked the director to film my parts first since we'll be very busy with our promotions and preparations for the tour starting next week. Thankfully, he agreed excitedly. He even asked me to sign copies of our album for his daughters. He was really a nice man. After today, I would officially end my role here as Lee Jihoon from Hit The Top.

"Hi. It's nice to meet you. I'm Kim Dahyun." My wife greeted her politely.

"Lee Seyoung. But you can speak informally with me. I hope we get along." Seyoung-noona held Dahyun's hand as she introduced herself. "Come! Let me introduce you to the rest of the cast!"

Dahyun frantically waved. "Ahh! Maybe we can do it later. I don't want to disturb their filming."

Seyoung-noona chuckled. "Oh come on! We haven't even started yet. Besides, have you met your husband's twin?"

"My husband's twin?" She looked confused as she turned her head towards me for answers.

I chuckled. "Go. I'll catch up. I need to report to the director first."

Without waiting for my answer, Seyoung gave me a smirk before she started dragging Dahyun away to meet my fellow cast members. I went to talk to the director and thanked him for everything that he did for me while I was here. The staff and the crew started applauding me as I gave them a deep bow to show them how much I appreciate them. Just then, the pizza truck that I rented for today's filming drove in. Everyone was pleased with the surprise and decided to have a break first before we started filming later on. After settling some matters and personally thanking everyone, I went to find Dahyun together with Seyoung-noona and Eunwoo in the cast's dining lounge.

"Now that I look at you two closely, you really DO look like twins." Dahyun was staring intently at Eunwoo and me.

I chuckled and took a seat beside her. "We get that a lot."

Dahyun smiled as she leaned in to whisper. "But you're more good looking. Don't worry."

I smiled at her and scrunched my nose. "That was so cheesy. But I like it."

"We're still here by the way." Seyoung-noona nonchalantly said as she leaned on her hand while staring at us with a smirk.

Eun Woo chuckled. "Lighten up, noona. Let them be."

Seyoung-noona chuckled before she turned serious. "So… Dahyun-ssi… you must have seen the episode from last Saturday. Seeing that your close with JayB-ya, there's no way you would have missed it."

The atmosphere on our table suddenly turned cold and awkward. Why did noona have to bring it up now? When I saw Dahyun, I couldn't tell if she was angry, sad or disappointed. I've never seen that look on her face before.

Dahyun slightly nodded with a serious expression. "I did. I saw everything."

"I'm sorry." Seyoung-noona stood up and bowed her head.

"Noona… Dahyun-ah, it's not her fault." I tried telling Dahyun.

Dahyun sighed. "I understand. Unnie, please sit down."

But Seyoung-noona remained standing. "It's not okay. I know that it's work and we're professionals at this, but a kiss is a still a kiss nonetheless. I told JayB-ya that you would understand but after seeing your first episode of We Got Married, I understood that it wasn't going to be easy. That's why I'm telling you this now."

"Unnie, don't worry about it. Please, have a seat." Dahyun tried to sit Seyoung-noona down.

Seyoung-noona sat down and gave a small smile to Dahyun. "I don't know how JayB-ya truly feels about you. But I saw how you were looking at him. It was as if… you were in doubt. You don't doubt JayB-ya, do you?"

Dahyun averted her gaze as she bowed her head. "It's not that simple. But we've talked about it."

"I'm pretty sure you guys did. But I think it's still there as well. Since he hasn't been completely honest with you. And you're not being honest with him too." Seyoung-noona bluntly said.

Eun Woo stood up from his seat. "I think I'm not needed here. I should go."

Seyoung-noona grabbed his sleeve and sat him down. "I'll go with you." She turned her attention back to us. "Both of you look happy together. I know that it's genuine. But the secrets are what's going to keep you apart. I know it's not going to be easy, and I'm not going to force it on you. I'm just saying that you have to trust each other even if those secrets aren't going to be revealed. Some secrets are meant to protect the person you love after all."

She stood up and grabbed the back of Eun Woo's shirt. "Think about it. Okay? Let's go, Eun Woo-ya."

Everything was still awkward around us after Seyoung-noona and Eun Woo left. I couldn't bring myself to talk to her after that. She was also turning her face away from me so I don't know how she's doing.

"Oppa… shouldn't you be on set?" She asked.

"Huh? Oh… yeah. I just… wanted to see how you were doing first." I stuttered.

She suddenly turned to face me and gave me a wide smile. It was obviously forced. "I'm totally fine! You can go now. Don't worry about me. I'll be watching you from the crew though. Will that be okay?"

I know I'm dense. But this is just plain obvious. She was not okay. "You don't have to hide it Dahyun-ah."

She suddenly stood up. "I need to go to the bathroom. Excuse me."

"Dahyun-ah!" I tried to stop her but she took off without stopping.

I sighed as I shook my head. "What do I do now?"

_________

"Right, I heard you moved." Seyoung-noona said her lines from the script.

We were shooting our last scene together with the main cast. It was really heartwarming since we've come a long way since then. Shiyoon-hyung, Seyoung-noona, Hyunbae-hyung and I were on our famous rooftop set drinking it out. Of course, the drinks were all props but it really fit the atmosphere we were in. This was the last for us. Definitely a fitting ending.

"Oh, MC Drill and I moved into a studio." I replied to Seyoung-noona's lines.

Shiyoon-hyung acted like he was taken aback. "Then what about this place? Is it empty?"

I nodded while I munch on some chips. "For the time being?"

"Really?" He asked.

I nodded in response. Hyunbae-hyung then turned to Seyoung-noona and called out to her character as he leaned back. "Woo Seung-ah, how is your songwriting coming along?"

Seyoung-noona breathed in deeply. "I've been doing it, but it's not going as well as I thought."

Hyunbae-hyung nodded in agreement. "I thought so. You look more like… a civil servant."

I turned serious and turned my attention to Seyoung-noona. "If you write a great song, you have to give it to us first."

She gave off a cocky smirk as she nodded. "Okay."

We went on with a few more lines. Surprisingly we did it all in one take. It's probably because the scene felt more real to us than to our characters. It looked really convincing to everyone. Especially to the director. He even teared up a little. As soon as he yelled "cut", we didn't move from our spot. We felt kind of attached with each other since we spent most of the time these past few months. Still, we had to say our goodbyes.

After giving the crew and the staff a round of applause and my heartfelt gratitude, I started making my way to where Dahyun was. She was sitting in the cast's lounge. She looked like she was deep in thought while fiddling with their bracelet.

"Sorry it took us so long. Are you okay?" I asked in a concerned tone.

She immediately snapped out of her thoughts and turned her head towards me and smiled. "It's okay. I'm great. Everything good now?"

"Yeah… Are you ready to head home?" I asked.

She nodded slightly as she hummed in agreement. I chuckled slightly. "Ming Do-hyung left for his meeting so I'm driving you home. Do you want to stop by somewhere else first?"

She shook her head. "You should rest up. You have a big day tomorrow."

"Alright. Let's go." I offered my hand for her to hold.

She stared at it for a moment and I could see that she hesitated before taking it. "Let's go home."

We drove from Incheon to Seoul. This car ride has never been this quiet before. She's not asleep but her eyes were out the window. I focused on the road instead. I turned the music on to make it less awkward.

Dahyun sighed. "Have I been too quiet?"

I smiled wryly. "Not really. It was just…"

"Quiet?" She asked with a smile as she turned towards me.

"Yeah…" I replied plainly. I took a glance at her from time to time before I finally had the courage to speak. "If it's okay to ask… what's on your mind? You seem so… distracted."

"Oh… just some stuff." She replied nonchalantly.

"What stuff?" I pressed on.

"Just… stuff…" She leaned on her hand as she replied plainly.

I sighed. "You know you can tell me if something's wrong, right? You know I'm willing to listen, right?"

"Pull over." She softly said.

I raised my brow. "What?"

"I said pull over!" She yelled. I quickly did as I was told as I parked beside Han River.

She quickly got out of the car and walked briskly towards the Han River. I immediately got out of the car and followed her. "Dahyun-ah! What the hell? Where are you going?"

Dahyun didn't respond as she walked further away. I jogged as I tried to catch up to her while calling her name. As soon as I caught up, I grabbed her wrist. "Dahyun-ah, please tell me what's wrong."

She flung my hand away as she turned towards me. This look seemed familiar to me, but I couldn't quite remember where I saw it and what it was. She rolled her tongue towards her cheek as she scoffed. "What's wrong? I don't know. You tell me, oppa."

"I don't know. That's why I'm asking you. You've been moody since Seyoung-noona said those things." I told her as I held her hand.

Dahyun tried her best to get my hands off of hers. "I want to tell you what's wrong but I don't think you're ready for it."

I sighed. "Try me."

She chuckled sarcastically. "Yeah right. Do you really want to know?"

"I do." I replied as I turned her to face me.

She took a breath. "What Seyoung-noona said was actually true. And it scares me."

"What Seyoung-noona said might be true, but that doesn't mean that she's also right." I told her what I think.

She had a look of confusion. "What do you mean?"

"She said that we doubt each other. And that's perfectly normal. We're not quite there yet you see. But we WILL get there. We DID promise to tell each other our secrets when the time was right. And I'm willing to wait for that. I hope that you'll be patient with me too." I told her as I watched her tears leave her eyes.

"I don't know, oppa. I don't know what's real anymore… I'm not sure if my feelings are real… I'm not even sure if this is real… I'm not sure what reality is anymore." She sobbed as she held my hand tightly.

I cupped her face to make her look at me. I wiped her tears using my thumbs as I gave her a reassuring smile. "I don't know what you think of me. Or what you really feel. But I AM sure of one thing."

"What's that?" She asked ambiguously in between her thumbs.

I leaned a little bit closer towards her. "I'm one hundred percent sure. That you, Dahyun-ie… you are my reality. My feelings for you are real and genuine. No matter what other people say. Forget about the mystery girl that everyone's been talking about. My feelings for you are clear. I like you."

She didn't respond to me but was just staring at me in a warm way. It was a cold night by the Han River, but as we stared at each other's eyes, it felt warm, secure… safe. The bluemoon helped with the romantic atmosphere too. There were no people, just us. She caressed my face with one hand and held my hand with the other. We slowly leaned in towards one another as we both closed our eyes. The moment was perfect as we drew closer for a kiss.

Just as before our lips touched, her phone started to ring. We both slowly pulled away as she took her cellphone out. She sighed before she chuckled as she read the message. My phone also rang and I went to check the message. I chuckled slightly. I think we both got the same message.

She turned to me with a wry smile. "Same message?"

"Yep." I shook my head in disbelief as I put my phone back into my pocket.

She suddenly held my hand and smiled at me. "Then I guess it's great that we cleared things up."

I nodded. "It is, isn't it?"

"So will I see you tomorrow during the filming?" She asked as she clung onto my arm.

"I won't bail on you even if you asked me to, wifey. Now let's go. You've read the message. haven't you? We have a long day ahead." I chuckled as I started walking away.

Dahyun didn't budge and just stood there with a serious expression on her face. I turned my head towards her with a confused look. "What's up? Are you okay?"

"JayB-oppa…" She called out.

I turned towards her slightly as I hummed. "Hmm? What is it?"

"Let's do it." She suddenly said as her grip on my arm got tighter. I could feel that she was nervous and afraid of something but I could also feel that her resolve was strong.

But I didn't understand what she's talking about though. "Do what? What do you mean?"

She took a deep breath in before she spoke. "Let's do it. Let's go out and date for real this time."
