Chapter 8

He didn't kiss me ,he didn't kiss me, no wait... Maybe he is being a total gentleman.

Jesus,Jessica Nelson, what is wrong with you?

My head is pretty messed up with the thought of kissing his tempting lips,the way he looked at me made me wish he would ,maybe he wanted to but he had to hold back. Who knows

I don't know what's wrong with me? I'm really attracted to him, very much.... I really hope what happened with Fred won't happen with him, I have a problem of loving like a total fool once I'm in love.

Okay, I'm going to put this thought behind me and focus on my studies and...my coffee work of course.

Today's evening seems nice, it was cold rather, we had a lot of people come in to get coffee, most of them I recognize from the school, some are middle aged while some of them I can't recognize.

Everyone had gone, Mrs Walters left early for whatever family drama she had, and Damien and Charlie, my colleague had their thing going on, funny they thought nobody would notice, I had to cover for the two love birds to go get their shit together .

I was almost down cleaning the tables and putting some things in place when he showed up, yeah the almighty Carl Anthony,my heart almost grew wings to fly away from its cage when I saw him. Why the hell are you so hot Carl?

I'm starting to think that telling him that I work here is a bad idea,i might stop breathing one day if he showed up like how he just did .

I suddenly found smile spreading across my face when I saw him standing by the door,smiling like a total bad boy with his sexy muscular arm crossed over his wide chest and his left leg crossed over his right.....His blue Jean and black jacket that showed his white shirt made him look sooo bad... Shit, why do I have a thing for bad boys, not Tyler kind of bad boy but... You know the cool kind of bad boy .

"Hey, wanna get out of here?"he asked so sexily with his pant ripping  smirk that sends heat to the back of my spine

Oh hell yeah Carl, do you even need to ask?

My smile grew wider all of a sudden "Give me a minute "I replied and shot him a wink as I left to change. I swore I could feel his smirk grew wider after that wink.

I called Mia and told her I was going out with  Carl, Carl and I hopped into the car and he drove to an ice cream shop... He said it was his thing for ice creams....funny cos I also have cravings for ice creams.

After we got the ice cream, he drove up to this place I never knew existed in this part of the town,it was a hilly place that showed the beautiful view of the city, we could see the waters from here.

This is my third year in BUI and I never knew this amazing view existed in this part of the town. The cool breeze blowing against my face gently made everything right at the moment, Carl and were chatting about how he knew this place existed.

The conversation shifted to other things, we later started checking each other's phones for old pictures, he thought my throw backs were hilarious and cute as well, so I decided to check his,found pretty cool pictures though  I saw a brown hair lady with too boys  smiling really happily, I was still staring at the pictures when he said she was his only sister...as if he was reading my thoughts... and the boys were his nephews.

Made me wonder why his sister was happily married and she already have two charming boys but he was still searching for 'right one '.But I guessed it wasn't my place to pry.

We finished our ice creams and it was getting really late, I was still with his phone,keeping my eyes on it to prevent me from locking eyes with him, I can't think straight when I look at his lip.

He gently put his hand behind my waist and pulled me closer, shit..he made me look up at his mysterious eyes and I was frozen,his eyes were staring deep into mine, his hands caressing my back, sending shivers down my lower back.

He held my chin leaned his head down and brushed his lips against mine.

Finally

His lips were soft, like feather, damn. I held his face, feeling his rough stubble.

Damn, this feeling is amazing

I kissed him tenderly like he did to me, don't wanna give him the impression that I kiss really hard.. At least when I date Fred.

He pulled from the kiss and smiled slightly, I couldn't help but return the smile.

"I was afraid you 'd kill me if I kissed you "he muttered softly

Is he kidding

I chuckled lightly, "Why would I do that ?"

"I've been dying to kiss you Jessica, I just didnt want to push you away from me....thats the reason I've been going really slow "his rough hands still on my chin

Holy pigs, has he been reading my thoughts or what?

"I'm glad you kissed me Carl"the words were flying out of my mouth

Shit Jessica, really?

He only smiled and kissed me again, this time a little deeper.I didn't want him to stop. But he did

"It's getting pretty late, I think we should head back or your roommate would kill me for keeping you so long "

We both laughed ,

Does he actually know Mia doesn't like him that much.

We held hands for some few flying seconds ,he then gave me his jacket to cover up, he said it was so I won't catch a cold. He is such a gentle soul. I think I love him already.

We got into the car and went back to the campus,the drive was well, beautifully silent as we listened to his radio while I looked out through the window. I couldn't help the smile on my face, he dropped me at my dorm and kissed me a goodbye.

I came down and found Mia looking from the room, I felt my face flush,i was blushing like a teenager who just got her face kiss.
