Janet returned to their car with a sour mood. How unlucky was she to encounter this old man early in the morning?
However, his actions weren't enough to defend her mood entirely. She had been so used to his rude behavior that nothing didn't hurt her anymore. In fact, she had already accepted this feeling that she had to live alone in her life. No one was going to support or stay by her side there.
" Changing the surname? Seriously?", Andrew grumbled his words from her side, following her into the car with a jump. Janet was silent all the time. It wasn't like she was unhappy or something else. She just said those words out of nothing. How was she going to give her father a face?
Changing surnames requires a lot of lawful procedures. The only smooth option of changing surnames is getting married which was also impossible for her now.
Janet glared at her noisy friend, urged grumbling,
