Chapter 11 ___ Damn! Kiss Me!

Letting out a dry cough, Janet backed away awkwardly to put a fine distance between them. She sucked a deep breath to muster up her courage and started speaking in a voice of righteous,

" Mr. Reynolds, I really really appreciate the way you have saved me yesterday. But getting avenge on Director Martin isn't proper according to my own perspective of view. If you think that you can pursue me through this and secure my role on 'Witch Queen', you are absolutely wrong. The fact that I hate mostly in my life is getting pitied by others. Therefore I come to tell you that please stop doing these all for me. I don't want to entangle my fate with some big boss like you. My thoughts are simple and different from you. Please respect my decision and do not pester me anymore."

Janet finished her words in a breath. Too afraid to meet his unspoken glare, she slipped past by him in an attempt to get out of his room. Once she pushed open the door partly, a powerful palm pushed back the door on its earlier place.

A shudder ran through her spine when she felt his heavy breathing behind her neck. Victor's powerful voice echoed in her eardrums,

" Did I permit you to leave? Do you think that you can come and go out of my office whenever you want?"

Oh Crap! He was angry!

Janet bit her lips together and fiddled with her clothes. Drawing out an anxious breath, she turned around numbly and met his glaring eyes. Her one fearful eyes was enough to create havoc in his heart. As if a magician had casted a soothing spell on him, Victor's anger subsided subconsciously.

Moving his palm from the doorway, he softened his voice and explained patiently,

" Janet! I haven't pitied you. I just erased the blockages from your path. You hear me? I don't pity you. Instead I am asking you to pity on me."

What!

Janet arched her head up to stare at him speechlessly. Victor resumed eternally shaking to confess for the first time to a woman,

" Yes! I..I am begging for your attention and possibly love..."

Janet turned flustered, astounded by his sudden indirect confession and retorted wisely,

" Mr.Reynolds, I understand your emotions but perhaps it is just momentary. I don't suit you at all. I am just a mere actress with countless scandals. I can't be bothered to add another one."

Janet's cold refusal was cutting Victor's heart. Fucking Hell! He never knew that rejection could hurt so much. Before he could utter anything else, Janet fled away with her racing heart.

Holly shit! She just refused Victor Reynolds!

Three days passed without any disturbance from Victor Reynolds. Janet on the other side started believing that her words worked on him. Thankfully, she didn't need to hassle with another scandal.

Humming in a soft tune, she entered into the set of " Witch Queen". Janet was playing a second female lead role in this movie. Her character was negative and she was going to act as the step sister of Witch Queen Laura. Her character was outrageous and grumpy princess who didn't care about anyone not even her own father. Furthermore, her character was portrayed way too perverted Character " Vanessa Hudgens" was the witch queen's half sister and rival for the throne.

Janet met the director inside the set for the first time. He was a friendly person unlike Martin who always labelled the low rated actresses as bed serving tool. Though she was the second lead, her scenes would be shooting first due to the unavailability of first leading role.

Well, thank goodness! She didn't want to face the first leading role either!

Janet was ordered to rehearse for her first scene, a kissing one with her co-actor James. To describe her character as an evil and perverted woman, such screen play came first.

Whilst they both were busy in rehearsing, their director's voice yelled out through the whole set,

" Everyone! I want everything neat and clean today. Our big boss will come to visit our set. I am expecting the best from all of you."

Everyone became extra alerted. Since they had to face a lot of struggles before starting the film, they didn't wish to put in big boss's bad eye. Janet asked dropping her script on another side,

" James, who is the big boss?"

James shrugged putting up his own script,

" I don't know! There are so many bosses around. It is hard to detect who is the one that director reffered."

Janet hummed knowingly and didn't pay attention on the matter first. Her attention should be on her upcoming scene.

***ONE HOUR LATER ***

A black Maybach parked in front of the set of 'Witch Queen'. Two pair of long legs stooped down slowly. Following him, two men in black trailed him closely inside the set.

Janet and James both were standing underneath scene. The scene was going to be a little intimate such like James would kiss Janet forcefully to show off his love for her.

Having no idea about the big boss's arrival, the entire set was busy in shooting. The director's command echoed in the air and camera focused on James and Janet.

*** Scene Playing ****

After a fierce argument, James was holding Janet's palms tightly. He was literally begging in a sobbing voice,

" Vanessa, trust me. I do love you..I love you..I do.. believe me..."

Almost at the end, James grabbed Janet's head by force and pressed his lips onto her to perform a passionate kissing scene. Just as their lips collided, James eyes subconsciously reached far away from them.

Though the distance was really far, James could feel the killing chill from his eyes. His expression dropped more when the other two muscular bodyguard came in his attention.

Big Boss??

James didn't move his lips anymore and stayed numb over Janet's lips. Janet barked out angrily,

" James!! What are you doing? Damn it! Kiss me!! "

Janet was furious over this damn actor. The scene was going so smoothly. Why did he stop so suddenly?

In her fury, she followed his astounded gaze to the way. The moment, she looked, her entire momentum froze!

Crap! Why was she so unlucky!
