IE: Chapter 45. Going to Find K!

"J, you drive, and I'll protect Laura in the back." Noah got into the back of the car and continued to lean closer to Laura ... to recharge.

"I can protect her too!" J wants to drag Noah out of the car.

"Can you beat me? If there's danger, I can carry her out, can you? Drive quickly. Zed is urging us to get back."

Noah quietly twisted his body, and got next to Laura.

As soon as they entered headquarters, they found that Zed was waiting for them in the lobby, and his expression was very ugly.

"N, you didn't erase her memory and took her to your house? Have you forgotten all our rules?" Finding out about this incident this morning, Zed was angry.

He liked N, he was a promising agent. He was ready to train him to take over his position. But, even if he was capable, the kid didn't follow the rules. He would rather train someone else!

Noah stepped back a little, and J stiffly bit the bullet, "Chief, I made the decision. I want to recommend her to join."

"Have you forgotten the rules? You're just an ordinary junior agent, and you haven't joined long enough. How are you qualified to recommend people? Don't look at N, his girlfriend was recommended by K before he retired."

"Zed, I'm on J's side this time. Laura, is really an alien. I took her in for testing yesterday after you got off work. Weaver will send in the report soon. Maybe, you'll see it in the reports soon." Noah slapped J on the back to stop him from arguing with the boss.

Zed immediately sat in front of the computer, pulled up the information, and a minute later, he was back on his feet.

At first, K handled the Zartha matter. Zed didn't know why K chose to hide it, but now Serleena was obviously coming for the Light of Zartha. If the she-devil knows that Laura was Zarthan, she would definitely kill her.

"Have you searched Laura? Is the Light of Zartha on her?"

If Zed sent the Light of Zartha away now, Serleena would definitely leave.

"We couldn't find it. The only thing left by her parents was this bracelet, but it's checked. It's nothing special. It may just be an ordinary bracelet or a token." Noah took out Laura's bracelet.

"Hey! Didn't you say you were going to use it as a sample and make a custom one exactly like it for your girlfriend? You lied to Laura." J spread out his hands.

"You guys go find Serleena. The tracking device on Charlie & Scrad was damaged, and we can't locate them."

Noah thought for a moment, "I think I know where they might go. If K was the one to stop Serleena, causing her to fail the first time... Then, if she got a second chance, where do you think she might go?"

Zed's eyes widened, "N, J, go get K right now. Be sure to protect him. I'll tell the other field agents to go over and help you."

"Are you sure that K works in this post office?" Serleena looked at the post office in front of her and then at Charlie.

"I'm sure. I've seen him, and I heard that he retired. This post office is actually an asset of the M.I.B, and its employees are all aliens."

"I don't know where K lives, but he comes to work here every morning on time, I'm sure of it."

Charlie felt a chill run through his body when Serleena stared at him. Last night, Serleena contacted a Kylothian spacecraft. Soon, a lot of Kylothian warriors would be coming, ready to destroy earth.

"Then, let's go in. Get him to tell us where the Light of Zartha is, and finish him off!"

Serleena glanced at the mailbox at the door. She sensed that there was a living creature in it, that didn't seem like an Earthling.

"Can I help you, sir and ma'am?" A post office worker came over.

"Where's K?"

"Excuse me?" The post office worker felt his heart jump. 'How did this person know about K? Looking at how they dress, they don't seem to be an M.I.B agent.' He had never seen them before.

"Then, we'll look for him ourselves." Serleena walked past the worker, but he stretched out his hand to stop her, but suddenly his neck was snapped and he fell to the ground, dead.

Charlie shrank his neck and quickly followed Serleena. A small head emerged from his backpack, took a look at the body, and quickly hid back in.

"Hey! Where's K? Tell him to come out right now! Queen Serleena is here. He can't hide! " Charlie stood in the middle of the post office, and yelled loudly, as if it was a stick up.

He had worked in the post office before, before K retired. However, he felt that it was too exhausting, and the other aliens thought he was lazy.

Now, he could act proud. With Serleena here, who would dare to scold him!

"Charlie? Why are you here? I thought you quit?" A fat man placed a package down, and came over.

Whoosh!

A tentacle wrapped around the fat man's neck, and the fat man's skin burst open, revealing a fatter body inside. He had eyes on the top of his head, and three arms.

"So, you're a remnant of the Fila planet? I was the one who destroyed your planet, you must have escaped because you got lucky. Do you want me to end your whole species?"

"You're... you're.... Serleena!" The fat man trembled. 'Why is this demon on Earth?!'

Poof!

A tentacle penetrated the fat man's chest. The man's body collapsed on the ground.

"See this is what happens! Where is K hiding?" Charlie was even more arrogant.

Serleena's ears suddenly twitched, "He's not there? It's okay, my people are here. They'll find K soon."

Kevin Brown was carrying the mail in to the post van, at the back door of the post office. Although he won the lottery, he wasn't short of money, but he still wanted to work. After submitting several resumes, he came to work in this post office.

Suddenly, he heard some shouting that seemed to come from the front desk. 'What's happening?'

Briskly walking over, he could smell some blood.

He hastened to a trot, and after entering the front doors, he froze.

'What is this? Did a monster attack the post office? What about the others?'

J was driving, looking at Noah and Laura in the back seat. So what if she was an alien? He didn't care. 'But why did N tell me to drive?'

When they approached the post office, they saw a bunch of people running away. J didn't need to think of anything else, he was sure that something had happened in the post office.

As soon as they walked into the post office, J felt that his head had been hit by something. He turned around, saw a familiar figure, and passed out.
