9. Farewell

Interesting a normal morning where Hayabusa went to hunt jungle monsters, a voice appeared in front of him.

"It's been a while, Shadow... And umbrella."

Both Hayabusa and Kagura stood in shock as one elite member of V.E.N.O.M. shows herself.

"Hanabi! What are you doing?!" Screams Kagura.

"As you can see, I came to capture you two. Or worse, kill."

"You can't be serious! Do you have any idea what are you doing?" says Hayabusa.

"Of course I do, you'll see if I'm serious or not"

Hundreds of advanced V.E.N.O.M. mecha surrounds them as Hanabi snaps her fingers.

"By the gods...These are made of metal, we can't break them."

"Leave it to me." says Kagura.

Then she summons a dragon made of water, from her umbrella. The dragon passes through those metalic bodies and causing explosion as the dragon gets out of them.

"Fascinating." Hanabi says, "not much could destroy these machines."

Hanabi disappears from the spot with a purple smoke, appearing in front of Hayabusa and attacking with her weapon, Higanbana.

It's a like a one handed giant shuriken, also comes back like a boomerang when being thrown.

While Hayabusa is dealing with Hanabi, Kagura gets rid of the mechanic creatures with her artificial dragon, and that's what the scenario was when I reached there.

"Is that a weakling?" Says Hanabi as she sees me appearing on the spot.

Hayabusa says nothing while continues to duel with Hanabi.

"First rule of combat, always kill the weakest one first." "Helcurt, it's your turn."

Whole area becomes dark as one voice keeps echoing in the air, "HAHAHAHHAHA..... TREMBLE!!!!!"

I tried to see in this void darkness, when the voice came closer to me. I saw a a four-legged creature, with blades attached on its arms wearing a hooded purple cape.

It's one of the mythical creatures I've studied about, which is recorded in the history of the Land of Dawn, there is said to be a mysterious race who sacrificed their souls to the ruler of the Abyss in exchange for great power. Their bodies were transformed using dark magic, granting them the ability to swallow light and travel through space in the blink of an eye, allowing them to surprise their enemies with deadly sneak attacks. What was most terrifying about them, however, was the concoction of natural poisons emitted from their tails, for those unfortunate enough to come into contact with this poison would soon be saying their last words.

That thing is in front of me, my body froze. It jumped on me and pointed its five tails, Hayabusa appeared in front of me, pushing me backwards and getting hit by helcurt's attack, its five tails pierce through Hayabusa's body.

"MASTERRR!!!!!" I scream in agony knowing that nothing can be done anymore.

Tears flow down from Kagura's eyes, as she falls on ground in sorrow and sees Hayabusa dying in front of her.

"You left the girl undefended, classic mistake." Hanabi says.

Hanabi appears in front of Kagura, but Kagura keeps sitting in place, doing nothing but a sad expression on her face.

"Good, looks like you've learned to accept your fate."

As Hanabi was about to end Kagura's life, Kagura said "Hanabi.....remember our childhood? It was so much fun to play together...." In a calm tone while tears are still flowing.

Kagura's words made Hanabi got aback by a bit, losing her confident expression. But still proceeds to kill Kagura.

Hanabi holds her weapon near Kagura's neck, slashing it afterwards which makes Kagura completely drop on the floor.

"I'm sorry..... I'm so sorry..." Says Hanabi in a small voice, while looking at two corpse in a puddle of blood, she falls prostrating on the ground and started crying loudly.

She got up after a bit, throwing two crystals between both of the corpse, which made the two corpse disappear, and held one in her hand to teleport herself.
