Leaning Temple of Pisa

Morning soon came and Tato rubs the sleep from his eyes, as he jumps down from a nearby tree.

He stretches and sighs pleasurably.

"Time to find some food and then I'll head to the temple."

Tato finally came up with a plan sometime during the night and then decided that it would be best to get some sleep to recover his stamina. He knew he was going to need his strength for Lyon.

Tato searched the jungle and he found a couple fruit trees and picked a few pieces off each tree and gorges himself on the fruit. As he eats, he makes his way to the temple.

When he finally makes it to the entrance, he throws the last piece of fruit up into the air and catches it with his mouth, and eats it whole.

"Ah! Such a delicious breakfast."

Tato giggles and pats his stomach. He stretches once more and then enters the temple.

Tato chooses one side to go to and begins to look at the support beams. He counts 10 total. He smiles.

"Time to get to work."

…

"Preparations are complete, Cold Emperor."

A short man in a tribal mask walks in with Toby behind him.

"Deliora should be revived tonight."

Lyon smiles.

"Good, I shall defeat that monster and then finally surpass Ur."

All of a sudden, a small earthquake is felt and small explosions could be heard.

Lyon stands up from the throne he was sitting on.

"What the hell is that!?"

He, the small man, and Toby start to stumble as another earthquake happens. All of a sudden, the temple starts to lean over.

"What's happening," Lyon cries out.

"It seems like the temple is falling over!"

Once the temple reaches a diagonal angle, Tato smiles with satisfaction.

"Good now that temple is tilted, moonlight can't enter in onto Deliora."

Tato looks up and starts to scan the ceiling.

"Now, I shouldn't keep them waiting."

…

"Whoa! What happened to the temple!"

Natsu screams out as he sees the temple.

Erza, Gray, and Lucy are in tow.

"That must've been Tato's doing," Erza said, "If the moon drip can enter through the top, then this was an ingenious plan to tilt the temple like this."

'Lyon….'

Gray is lost in his thoughts.

"Come on, let's hurry," Erza barks.

Everyone hurries into the temple to catch up with Tato.

Tato throws his hand forward and blasts a hole in the ceiling with a ki blast. He then squats down and jumps up onto the floor that the man and Lyon are on.

He throws up a hand in greeting.

"Yo!"

Lyon snarls at him and the little man smiles.

"Ah should've guess that you were behind this, Tato," he says.

Tato cocks his head to the side.

"Uh, do I know you?"

The small man laughs.

"No, but I know you."

Tato visibly relaxes and puts his hands behind his head.

"Huh, was it that time? Or maybe it was this other time? Hmmm, I don't know," Tato mumbles to himself.

"ENOUGH!"

Lyon takes a step forward.

"I am through with your impudence and your constant meddling , you've gotten in my way for the last time!"

Tato smirks.

"Well come on pretty boy, we going to dance or are you going to keep standing there," Tato says, motioning for Lyon to attack him.

Lyon growls and then lunges for Tato. He dodges him and counter attacks with a kick. Lyon blocks this but is sent a couple meters back.

All of a sudden, a circular piece of stone falls from the ceiling and hits Tato over the head and then a hole in the ground forms and he falls through.

Lyon looks at the small man.

"Was this your doing?"

He smiles.

"I'm sorry Cold Emperor, but you're the only one who's strong enough to face Deliora, we can't have you go and waste your magic on him."

Lyon's fury rises and the room begins to freeze.

"You think I could lose to this imbecile. Please. I can do this myself."

A small rumble could be felt and soon, Tato came bursting from the floor.

He's rubbing the back of his head.

"That was a dirty trick, you!"

He glares at the small man.

"This is my fight with Lyon, butt out."

"Tato!"

Tato turns to Gray and Natsu enter the room.

"Glad you could join the party," Tato says, "Where's Lucy?"

"Her and Erza got caught up with something and will be here shortly," Natsu informs him.

Everyone takes a moment and assess the situation from both sides.

"It's almost time for the ceremony," the short man says.

He flicks his wrist and an earthquake could be felt.

"What's happening," Natsu cries out.

One by one, each of the support pillars, that Tato had destroyed, were repaired and then the temple sits right back the way it was.

"Annoying," Tato says.

"Well done," Lyon says.

"Well the moon is about to come out, so had to fix our problem."

"Tell me how you did that," Natsu screams, stomping his foot.

The small man turns and laughs at Natsu's face.

"Tell me! You jerk!"

"Well Cold Emperor, I'll be off. I got a moon drop ceremony to conduct."

He takes off running. Toby chases after him.

"Come back here!"

Natsu then follows after him.

'Well at least that guy and Natsu are finally out of the way.'

Tato turns his eyes back to Lyon.

"Alright Lyon, we're going to finish this right now," Gray screams out.

"Oh Gray," Lyon says.

He takes steps towards Gray.

"As much as I would love to pumble you again," Lyon says.

He stops when he gets right beside Gray, him facing one direction and Gray facing the other.

"I just don't have time to play with you."

Gray grits his teeth.

"What!"

Lyon slowly lifts his hand, undenounced by Gray, and hovers it over his abdomen.

"You see," he says.

He turns his head and looks at Tato. He smiles menacingly and there's blood lust in his eyes.

"I have bigger fish to fry."

Lyon activates his magic and an ice tiger bursts through Gray's abdomen.

Gray collapses onto his knees and then Lyon hits him on the back of the neck, knocking him out.

Tato's eyes flinch, just slightly, but he goes back to meeting Lyon's eyes.

"Well then," Lyon says.

He takes off the cloak he was wearing, and tosses it to the side.

"It's time that I teach you your place."

Tato smirks as he enters a defensive stance and prepares for battle.
