EPISODE 132; THE CHRONOLOGICAL/HOROLOGICAL BLOODLINE LIMIT! MONOCHRON PART XII: THE TRIAL OF TIME PART II: THE REPRESENTATIVES OF HEAVEN AND EARTH PART I: THE HALL OF TIME!

We walked over the surface of the Frozen Lake with Ariel, Saito, Keiran and Ciella generating flames via their abilities. After walking for about fifty metres, we hit a barrier made out of a Solid Crystal Wall.

"What's this?" I wondered.

"It appears to be some sort of barrier" Keiran replied.

"Concordia, could you check out how high it goes?" Keiran asked.

"Of course. KRAKEN ANDROMEDA! DUST FORM!" Concordia said and summoned a very wide area of dust by disintegrating her Earthen Arrows.

She controlled the dust with telekinesis and scanned the Wall.

"This Wall extends all the way to the roof and to the sides of this Hall. There appears to be a small circular opening at the centre of the Wall but it's not wide enough for any of us to go through. The roof of this Hall seems to be made of the same Crystalline Material this Wall is made out of and there appears to be some sort of pipe like structures jutting out of the entire roof" Concordia said.

"Whoa! Concordia can utilize extrasensory techniques?!" I exclaimed in awe.

"Yeah, thanks to Keiran and my Mom" Concordia said.

"Keiran, you mutineer" I glared at him.

Everyone laughed.

"Yep, you'd best watch out from now on San. If we ever duel each other, you might be in for a bit of a rude awakening" Concordia said.

"That goes both ways Concordia" I smartmouthed her.

"Now isn't the time you guys. Concordia, scan past the openings in the Wall and try to find any levers or switches that could help us get past the wall. Be mindful of booby traps though" Keiran cautioned.

"Of course" Concordia said and sent her dust through the opening in the Wall.

"Like this side of the Hall, the Frozen Lake extends further. The roof on the other side is quite similar to the one on this side except for one thing…there appears to be a series of lenses mixed in with the pipe like contraptions jutting out of the roof and there are a series of openings in the roof as well. I'll scan further" Concordia said and sent her dust into the roof.

"There are a number of light sources hidden in the roof but they're not so bright. It's almost as though they've been coated by some sort of translucent material" Concordia said.

"Do you know what this setup could be about San?" Concordia asked.

"Well…this barrier is almost like the Gate" I said and laid my hand on the barrier.

In an instant, images began to flood my mind. I could see the boy with Golden Hair with his Crystal raised towards the Gate. A light from the Gate enveloped his Crystal.

"Match the Seven Representatives Of Heaven to the Seven Representatives Of Earth" the Gate seemed to say as Fourteen Names materialized on the Gate.

Seven of them under the title of 'Representatives Of Heaven' and Seven of them under the title of 'Representatives Of Earth'. This time however, I could read the Names clearly.

The boy began to match the Names.

"Ryu/Molten, Michael/Hurricane, Atlanta/Crystal, Nadia/Torpedo, Rokkan/Terranica, Ken/Tornado, Tanya/Melody" the matched Names now read.

There was a sound from behind the Gate as though a lock had unbolted itself.

"Seven Realms" a new question appeared on the Gate.

"Seven Canons" the boy replied.

"Seven Elements" new words appeared on the Gate.

"Seven Virtues" the boy replied as the vision faded from my mind.

I narrated the vision to my comrades.

"Fourteen Names, Seven Realms and Seven Canons, Seven Elements and Seven Virtues" Saito seemed to think deeply on the matter.

"It makes a weird sort of sense. Isn't it reminiscent of the Seven Stones Of Virtue our parents reclaimed from the Souls Of Evil years ago?" Mitsuki asked.

"In what way Mitsuki?" Ariel asked.

"The Stones Of Virtue are also commonly referred to as the Elemental Stones Of Sealing. Each signifies an Element as well as a Virtue. Elements are naturally occurring substances in our World but Virtues aren't exactly 'Natural'. Virtues can only be exhibited by Living Beings and most believe they are unique to Mankind" Mitsuki said.

"Yeah, now that you mention it, Seven Of those Names sound like Human Names but the other Seven seem to be associated with an Element or an Elemental Characteristic" Ariel realized.

"Exactly, and a common characteristic of elements is that they're never really static in form but can alter form" Saito reasoned.

"A Frozen Lake, A Crystal Wall, Pipes in the Ceiling, Lenses in the Ceiling, Hollows in the Ceiling and Hidden Light Sources concealed by Translucent Materials. I think I'm beginning to see what this is all about. We're supposed to alter some of these elements in order to reveal a pathway" I said.

"Alter some of these elements to reveal a pathway?" Ciella wondered.

"Yes, the Frozen Lake itself is a clue. The current form of the elements conceal the pathway we're supposed to take. If we alter the elements correctly, a path might be revealed. If we alter the elements wrongly, the path we're supposed to take will remain concealed or things might get even more difficult" I explained.

"I see. So each element in a particular form might possess the capacity to conceal or reveal a path. To alter the elements to a form that could reveal a path, timing is necessary" Ariel realized.

"Yeah, recall our lessons on Time as an element of Harmony as well as our lessons on Amplifiers and Nullifiers. When the 'Time' of multiple elements overlap…" I began to say.

"…an element's effects may be amplified, nullified or the element might transform" Mitsuki realized what I was getting at.
