EPISODE 133; THE TRIAL OF TIME PART III: THE REPRESENTATIVES OF HEAVEN AND EARTH PART II: RYU/MOLTEN, MICHAEL/HURRICANE, ATLANTA/CRYSTAL

Concordia reported everything she could see in the part of the Hall sealed off by the Crystal Wall.

"Concordia, could you check out the material composition of the translucent material sealing off the Light Sources?" I asked.

"Sure" Concordia said and sent her dust into the hollows in the Ceiling.

Her dust moved over the Light Sources which had been sealed off by the Translucent Material.

"I sense heat being emitted by the Light Sources. The Translucent Materials seem to be made of some sort of plastic material. We could easily melt it if we wanted to. It's a very light sheath but that's if you think it might reveal a path" Concordia said.

"I see. I think I'm beginning to see what we need to do. The first thing we need to do is generate heat" I said.

"I see. That could work" Keiran said.

"What?" Ciella wondered.

"Keiran, think you could create pathways of Wind leading all the way to the Translucent Sheaths in the roof?" I asked.

"Sure, if I sync the Wavelength of my Wind to that of the surrounding air, I should be able to awaken extrasensory perception which I could use to zone in on the Translucent Sheaths" Keiran said and began to generate pathways of Wind leading into the Ceiling.

"Concordia's right. The entire interior of the hollows in the Ceiling are made of the same crystal material that composes this Wall and the pipes in the Ceiling are metallic in nature. There's no combustible material in the Ceiling except for perhaps, the sheaths" Keiran said.

"Good, maintain your Wind, I'm going to ignite it with my Flame Abilities" I said.

"Okay" Keiran said.

"SEAL OF ENDREGEN! UNLOCK! SEAL OF KOLMNID! UNLOCK!" I roared as my Cape materialized around me.

I stretched my hands towards Keiran's Wind and ignited it with strong flames. My flames flowed through Keiran's Wind which acted as a path channeling my Flames into all the Sheaths in the Ceiling. The Sheaths melted instantaneously freeing the Light that had been previously contained within it. The beams of Light from multiple sources hit the lenses in the roof and converged in each of the lenses into a single powerful beam. These beams were channeled into the surface of the Frozen Lake. There was a sizzling sound as the thick ice covering the River underneath began to melt generating intense Vapour that blanketed the Hall. The Hall was immediately lit up.

"Whoa! The place suddenly became brighter!" Ariel exclaimed happily.

"Yeah, you can think of the Light Sources and Lenses as the 'Sun'. It's thanks to the Heat Energy emitted by the Sun that Rivers in the Real World can flow in liquid form" I explained.

"But someone inadvertently went and created a Solar Death Ray. There's no way we can cross to the other side at this rate" Keiran stared at me with a bored look in his eyes.

"What's the use in complaining about what's already been done?" I retorted.

"A Solar Death Ray huh? You're definitely right. Even if we found some means of crossing this Wall, we'd be fried to a crisp the moment we step into one of those beams" Saito said with an amused smirk.

"Well, we won't have to worry about that if we never get past this Wall now would we?" I retorted.

"What do you mean? Do you have some sort of plan?" Mitsuki asked.

"Tsk tsk tsk, have you never heard of this simple rule with regards to Space Battles? Solar Death Rays have the power to alter Sea Levels. This Crystal Wall reaches the Ceiling and the sides of the Hall but whoever said it reaches the bottom of the Lake?" I said with a smirk.

"If these Solar Death Rays do generate enough heat to vapourize a substantial amount of the Lake, we'd be swimming in Boiling Water even if there is some opening beneath the Wall" Keiran complained.

"Concordia, could you please explain to dumb Keiran here the genius in my plan?" I said.

Concordia laughed.

"Keiran, we might not need to swim in Boiling Water" Concordia said.

"Yeah, this Hall is kinda like a Cauldron sealed tight. In such a Cauldron, the amount of Water is always constant. No amount of Water is gained or lost. However, one could alter the level of the Water in the Cauldron by altering the form of the Water itself via the application of Heat. If there is indeed an opening beneath the Frozen Lake, all we need to do is reduce the Water Level until it's below the level of the opening beneath the lake and we can fly into the next room via Concordia's Kraken Andromeda" Mitsuki explained.

"I see, makes sense…but we'll still have to evade the Solar Death Rays" Keiran smirked.

"There's a solution to that as well…but I'm not going to tell you what it is until the next ep. Goodnight kids" I said with a wink.
