Chapter 4 Vs Yamcha

"And now the final round of the preliminary for block 1 will finally begin."The glasses-wearing announcer said as Kai and Yamcha stepped onto the stage.

Both of them were easily able to defeat everyone in their way without any difficulties.

"Do I know you from somewhere?" Yamcha asked when he saw Kai.

They only talked one time and it was seven months ago.

Upon their first meeting, Kai was a boy who was skinny and didn't have a bright complexion.

Now he was a tall black-haired boy with more muscles on his body.

Even though Yamcha remembered the boy from seven months ago there is no way that he would be able to guess that boy has changed that much.

"No." kai said as he extended his left hand towards Yamcha.

"Well. Good luck." Yamcha replied as he shakes Kai's hand.

"And now begin." With the announcement, Kai took his battle stance and started moving around Yamcha in circles to find an opening.

"System can you display his stats," Kai asked.

[Displaying system will put you at a disadvantage in this kind of distance. Tru to tired him out first and then check the system for the safety measure.]

The system replied.

Although it was a system to Kai it was more like a guide who told you what to do and give him advice.

Kai didn't need to follow everything the system said and the system will not obey all of Kai's orders unless he was forced to.

Both of them were in a symbiotic relationship.

"I guess that makes sense," Kai said as he uses one of his legs to kick Yamcha.

But Yamcha was able to block the attack with one of his arms.

"You are strong," Yamcha said as he blocks the attack.

[This is why I told you to change your weights. If you follow my suggestion when you hit your limit of 20 you can continue to gain your stats and this would have been the match.]

"Then how about this," Kai said as he throws a superman punch at Yamcha.

And Yamcha backstepped to dodge the attack.

[Now spin and heel]

"Roger," Kai said as he used the momentum and kick him with a roundhouse kick.

Yamcha tried to dodge the attack but he was unable to and got hit in the face.

"Now I am mad. I am sorry but I am not letting you win. Roga fufu ken." Yamcha said as he went in for a combo.

[The title Tritagonist is acting up. Your Strength:25 was temporarily reduced to 10]

"What the? isn't that busted?" Kai said as he got hit by a fury of punches and Kicks from Yamcha.

"That kid is seriously getting beat up."

"That wolf guy is really strong."

Spectators started to talk about the match as Kai was getting beat up.

[This is bad. Hey, use your trump card now. This is the only chance that you can get.]

The system warned Kai.

"Oh. That guy is really strong." A bald kid wearing a gi with the word Kame said.

"Yamcha." The boy with the tail said in excitement when he saw the man on the stage. The boy with the tail who was called Goku.

[The main character with the title (protagonist) noticed the owner of the title(Tritagonist)]

[The effect of the title tritagonist is cancelled out.]

[Your strength returned to 25]

[The title protagonist is activated. You have been deemed a worthy opponent for the Main character by the universe.]

[Your strength has permanently doubled to 50.]

"Haaaa." Kai then started to pull Yamcha back with his newfound power.

"What. how is he pushing me back?" Yamcha questioned.

"Hiya." Kai then uses one of his legs to sweep Yamcha's legs.

Yamcha loses balanced and fell down sitting. As he was kicked out of bounds.

"No 1 is pushed out of bounds. No 12 will be qualifying for the world martial arts tournament." The announcer said as everyone cheered.

"Yamcha are you okay," Goku said as he runs towards Yamcha.

"I lost," Yamcha said with a sad tone in his voice.

"It's not that big of a deal. I mean your opponent is really strong." the bald boy said to Yamcha.

"Goku who is he," Yamcha asked.

"Let me introduce him. This is Yamcha my friend and Yamcha this is Kurullin. He studies under master roshi with me." Goku said.

[Congratulations. I knew you still didn't need to use "that" yet.]

"Liar."

[Well do you want to check the rewards for your mission?]

"Sure."

[You have obtained 10 levels and 100extra stat points. Your potential is updated to(B).]

[You have completed your first mission and unlocked the milestone gifts]

[You have reached level 30.]

[You obtained level 10, level 20, and level 30 gift boxes.]

[Do you want to check the gift boxes now or later?]

"I will check them later," Kai said as he walked down the stage.

"But still thought being able to cut my power off and multiply my strength what are those titles?" Kai asked.

[Titles are something that put you in a favourable or unfavourable position. For example, the title that you see (Tritagonist) decreases all of the power of the people that didn't have a title to the minimum. the effects can be cancelled out the moment the other title users are present.]

"So it literally has no downsides?"

[I won't say that titles react to one another and the Tritagonist is the title that got affected most out of all the titles apart from the supporting cast title.]

"Effect each other?" Kai asked.

[The owner of the Tritagonist makes it easier for him to die against another title holder]

"Hey didn't you say that I should kill him and takes his title a few minutes ago."

[....Well, the upsides are there and in this world death isn't the end.]

"What do you mean death isn't the end?" Kai said.

[Well don't tell anyone there is another world where you can find otherworldly beings. In other words Gods. No Kais to be exact.]

"Kais. Don't worry about that. You will one day see them with your own eyes."
