Broly and I walk into my house, instantly being met with the sight of my mother chopping up meat in the kitchen with a cleaver.
She sees us and a smile instantly decorates her face.
"Hi, Sweetie, how was training?" She asked.
As she asked this question, she stopped chopping the meat, leaving the cleaver held up in the air as she spoke to me with a pleasant smile.
Bardock really should be counting his blessings that Gine isn't a yandere. Or would Saiyan's like yanderes more? Most of them usually have a very strong will, and they are abnormally strong.
Plus even I have to admit that I've found myself being attracted to... basically every female yandere character that I've seen. Can you blame me? It's a woman obsessed with you enough to learn everything about you and kill if someone encroaches on their territory.
Would yanderes be a Saiyan's dream partner?
Are there even any yanderes in Dragon Ball?
"Zyleth?"
"Huh?" I hummed, snapping out of my thoughts and looking around to see my mother and Broly looking at me. "Sorry, what?"
"I was asking about your training... Are you okay? Do you need me to take you to the medical center?" Gine asked with a worried expression.
"I'm fine. I was just... pondering..." I said, my eyes briefly looking towards the cleaver before I clear my throat and answer her question. "Training was fine. Went on a little late, but it everyone is doing well enough."
"Well that sounds great. Is this one of your teammates?" She asked, looking towards Broly, who subsequently hid behind me when her gaze shifted towards him.
"Yes he is. Mother, this is Broly. One of the members of my team that I've been training along with the Prince." I told her.
"Oh, so this is Broly?" She asked as she walked around the counter and knelt down in front of us.
I nod and softly push Broly towards her, giving him a reassuring smile. "Broly, this is my mother, Gine."
He looked at Gine with a shy expression before holding out his hand. "N-Nice to meet you..."
"Oh, you are just so cute." She said as she shook his hand and gave him a boop on the nose.
Broly looked down and blushed at the comment, which made Gine think he was even cuter.
"Oh, you remind me of Zyleth when he was your age." She sighed wistfully.
Bullshit! I've never blushed a day in my life woman! That's hearsay! Slander! Don't listen to a word this woman says, Broly! She's obviously gone mad!
"Would you like to join us for dinner?" My mother asked the adorable Saiyan child.
"Mhm." Broly hummed, nodding his head as he continued to look at the floor.
"Is there anything special that you would like me to make?" She asked.
Broly thinks about the question for a bit before slowly looking up at her. "Do... Do you have juice?"
Christ, Planet Vegeta's juice supply is going to go through a massive drought in a few months with the way he's going...
She smiles and nods before standing up and going back to the kitchen.
"Dinner will be ready in a bit, so why don't you two go do something fun while you wait." She said as she turned her focused towards the chopped meat.
"Sure. C'mon, Broly." I said as I walked towards my room.
He followed after me closely and we entered my room, with him looking around at everything curiously.
I crawl onto my bed and enter the lotus position, closing my eyes and concentrating on my Ki.
"What's that?" Broly asked as he looked at me with he head tilted to the side.
"I'm meditating." I told him with my eyes still closed.
"What's meditating?" He asked.
"It's a technique to calm yourself and help better channel your energy." I explained.
"Energy... How do you do it?" He asked as he crawled onto the bed next to me.
I open my eyes and look at him with a raised eyebrow as he got into the lotus position. "You want to try?"
He nods vigorously.
"Okay then." I muttered as I channel a bit of my Ki into him.
"Huh?" He looked around at himself, seeing that he was emitting a faint white aura. He looked over at me with excitement before his face turned curious. "Why is my energy white but yours is purple?"
"Everyone has a different color depending on a few things." I told him.
"Can I get purple energy?" He asked.
"Possibly." I replied.
It wasn't... completely out of the question. Vegeta's Ki color went from purple to white after he became a good guy. It wasn't totally out of the realm of possibility for Broly to somehow gain a purple Ki color, but I very much doubt it.
"Now, I want you to close your eyes and try to feel the energy inside of you." I told him.
He nods and does what I say. Since I was helping him by channeling my Ki into him, he managed to focus in on it in just few minutes.
"Now keep focusing on that energy. Try to get a feel for it. How it moves. How it behaves."
His Ki should be in a fairly wild state at the moment. At least that's how it was for me when I first started meditating. Eventually I'll have him try and calm the flow of his Ki, but right now I just need him to get a grasp on meditation. Next time I'll see how he does without me helping.
Seeing that he's got the basic premise down, I close my eyes and resume my own meditation. Completely unaware of the fact that Raditz had been watching us from the doorway the entire time.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Raditz peeked into his Zyleth's room from the doorway, anger rising as he saw his brother teaching this unknown Saiyan child that he never saw before.
Unable to keep his emotions in check, Raditz stomped away from his brother's door and went to walk outside, slamming the front door on his way out.
Gine saw her son's angry exit and immediately began to wonder what had put him in a foul mood.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Raditz found himself in High-Class Saiyan training grounds, ripping through a number of Kaiwareman as a means to blow off steam.
"Raditz!"
Turning to face whoever called out for him, Raditz saw his mother looking at him with a gentle expression. However, due to the fact that he had his focus taken away, he was struck in the face by one of the Kaiwareman that he had grown.
"Damnit!" He exclaimed before blasting the rude blue bastard into oblivion.
"Language." Gine admonished him softly as she knelt down and looked at his face.
Raditz pushed her hand away and looked over to the side in a huff. "What do you want, mother?"
Seeing that he didn't want her babying him, Gine put her hand back at her side and decided to just come right out with it.
"I want to know what's going on. Why are you so angry? You were excited just an hour ago." She said.
"Hmph." He didn't say anything, only choosing to pout.
"Is it about Broly? Are you mad that Zyleth is spending time with him?" She asked.
Raditz turned and looked at her like she had just read his mind, which had basically confirmed her suspicions.
Gine knew that Raditz put his brother on a pedestal. It was hard for her not to do that herself.
Zyleth was born with the highest power level ever recorded from a Saiyan baby. From Bardock's own mentions of him training with Zyleth, their son was also a very fast learner. It didn't even take him a minute to get a grasp on his energy and how to unleash it as blast attacks. Teaching him how to fly was also fairly simple.
He had conquered a planet three other Saiyan teams had failed to do and came back from said planet stronger than ever, defeating a skilled Saiyan Elite in just three blows.
Raditz idolized Zyleth. He wanted to be him.
So when Raditz started to act up suddenly after the appearance of Broly, someone who Zyleth was personally training, she knew exactly how Raditz would feel about it.
Sad and jealous.
"You know that just because Zyleth is training Broly doesn't mean that he loves you any less." Gine told him, putting her hand on her son's head.
"But why hasn't Zyleth ever trained with me?" Raditz asked as he stared at the ground.
"Sweetie, have you ever actually asked Zyleth to train with you?" She asked.
Raditz looked up at her with a surprised face before shaking his head.
"Then how is he supposed to know you want to train with him?" She asked.
Seeing where he went wrong, Raditz turned his gaze back to the floor. "Guess it doesn't matter now... He's busy with his new team..." He muttered sadly.
Gine smiled and ruffled her son's hair. "Y'know... Saiyan teams like Zyleth's usually have about five members. As far as I know, his team only has three right now."
