ch.13: virus

Monday

So I got out to Indiana and well Chris texted me and said, " hey so I am here but I might need a lift." I laughed and well I got dressed into this: but I texted Chris back and asked where he was staying so I can pick him up and he said the hotel right in town. That wasn't far so I drove over there and he was outside so we had to go to my old school, and well he got in the car and said, " hey so I see what you mean but this isn't a small town, just people suck at driving." I laughed and said, " you got that right." So I drove over to Chesterton middle school and well I had a weird feeling about the place, and I knew some things were going to change over time. But I saw boys and girls club aphid changed a lot. But we got to the middle school, and I said, " well this is going to be the death of me." We got out and well we had to go to the office, first.

Front office

So we got there and I forgot that there was going to be a few people here meaning a few people from boys and girls club, but I never thought I would see a few people again. But we walked there and I asked, " excuse me but do you know where I could possibly find mrs. Hurley?" She came out and said, " what can I do for you?" I said, " hi I'm Haley, I called here earlier and asked if we could do a video here?" She said, " yes, you can. And do you possibly know how long this will take?" I said, " three to five weeks, since it will be different scenes." She nodded and said, " okay, just let us know if we can do anything to help." I nodded and said, " thank you." And she asked, " and you said your name was Haley?" I replied, " yes but my last name is ward." I heard someone ask," Haley ward?" I turned around to see my old special Ed's English teacher, mrs.hadley.

I said, " omg mrs. Hadley." She gave me a hug and said, " oh my god, I haven't seen you since eighth grade how are you?" I said, " I have been good, how are you." She said, " last year teaching." I said, " oh wow. Sorry this is my friend Chris motionless, from motionless in white." He said, " hi."

She asked, " so what are you doing back here?" I replied, " we are creating a music video. And I asked if we could film a few scenes here." She nodded and said, " that's cool. Also how is your mom?" I looked down and said, " we lost her in 2017." She said, " I am sorry. But I gotta go and Haley it was very nice to see you again." I smiled and we went out of the office and into the main hall, Chris asked, " you two seemed to know each other who is she?" I said, " she was my English teacher in middle school. One of my favorites." But we went to the auditorium. And I got a text from Alisha, she texted, " hey so I think there might be a few volunteers to help out with this, here's the names?"

She went me a whole list, I recognized a few, but well I texted back, " okay and also when do you think you will be out here?" She said, " by tomorrow. And also I suggest you take a ride over to the boys and girls club the few people I told you on the list are there." I texted back an emoji unicorn and she didn't text back. So I said, " okay so we might have to take another trip really quick, since a few others are going to be helping out with this got it?" He nodded and well we took a trip over to the boys and girls club.

I knew they had a summer camp thing going on, but I parked and we walked in the doors, I saw so many adorable kids running around. Don't get me wrong I love kids, but I do not want to have kids, but I asked the lady at the front desk, " excuse me sorry to bother you but I think Alesha called one of the people here and asked for volunteers for a video?" She looked up and said, " yeah, what's your name?" I replied, " Haley." She said, " okay I am going to go get joe and we can talk in his office." I nodded and she left I said, " damn this brings back memories."

But soon she came back and said, " okay so we can talk in his office." Me her, and Chris went in there and I saw joe, and I said, " hi I'm Haley." And, " Chris." He said, " hi, I'm joe. And well i think I can help." I nodded he continued. " so we have a few employees and volunteer workers here along with a. Few teenagers, that might be willing to help to." I nodded, " okay that would be great. And we are going to be filming at the middle school. So this won't be far away or anything." He nodded and said, " okay and also when will you guys start filming this?" Chris said, " probably start tomorrow and this will be for about three to five weeks."

He nodded and said, " okay I can call them down and see." I nodded and he said over the intercom, " could Tabitha, mike, Lauren, Noah, and anyone over the age of thirteen please come to the gym thank you." So we went into the gym area and people, started flooding in there wasn't many. But well I saw tabitha, and I was surprised but well. Joe came in and said, " okay so we have to guest here today and well Haley you tell them." I laughed a little and said, " hi so I'm Haley, and this is Chris, we are going to be filming a music video for my song virus, and well we are going to be filming this at the middle school. But we need a few actors for a few parts."

Tabitha asked, " okay I can help out but what is the music video about?" I replied, " well this music video explains this misunderstood girl, who has been basically to hell and back, but is still fighting for her dreams and fate. But soon realizes that she doesn't have to listen to just anyone but just because she is different that doesn't mean she isn't human and strong and independent with one mind."

This one kid asked, " where are you from?" I laughed and said, " Los angeles, California now But was from here." Tabitha looked at me like mike did and well I explained more and so did Chris, but well we did get a few volunteers meaning, tabitha, mike, Lauren, Noah, Zach, Lilly, and two others. But they took a bus over to the middle school and me and Chris took my car. Since I drove out to here.

Two weeks later

So we have gotten two scenes down. And while we are almost finished, but we have the pool scene, so I have to wear a swimsuit under my offutt, but well this scene is kind of a mix of her emotions and just her own head. And well she is just in this dream but doesn't realize it is a new reality. So I went to the locker room and got changed into this:

So this scene is where she runs off in the night to the pool area and she is at the homecoming dance, but her thoughts and the emotions she has going through her head changes for the better but well I got out of the lockers and came out and I saw a few staring I said, " so help me if one of you push me in you are dead." They laughed and I said, " I will drag you in with me. So don't even try." But well we got the camera ready and I bought an underwater one for this scene and we had a willing person to film underwater. But tabitha said, " and action." I ran in and just grabbed my head and looked around but then I felt things go black in my head and I don't know what happened but I saw things in blue. With no words no voice, no sound.

Alisha's pov

So Haley fell into the pool, and well we had someone grab a selfie stick with the waterproof camera, but we got the scene and we were going to apedit this also. But Tabitha said, " and cut." We waited and I looked down in the water to see Haley, but she looked lifeless, I said, " fuck. I am going in." I dove in and I didn't care that my clothes were going to be wet, that is my friend there. I grabbed her and brought her to the surface I said, " help me get her out." We got her out and well she had blue lips cold as death, and I was panicking but mike did CPR, and she coughed up water and she had opened her eyes but said, " I got to see one last time." She was then out cold.

Seven hours later

Haley's pov

I woke up, in a shadowed room, and I was lying in a bed, but I got up and looked around I saw I was in the nurse's office, I was in dry clothes, and fuzzy socks, but I looked around more and saw mike and Alisha, I said, " what happened?" Alisha gave me a hug and said, " you almost drowned." I almost thought my eyes popped out of my head I said, " wow, what else?" She said, " well we did the scene where you fall in and well when you did it was a fe seconds and my eyes were still on you. And when tabitha said cut, you had no answer and kept falling to the bottom, I said, ' duck I am going in."

She saved me? " but I brought you up and they helped me get you out of the water, but mike gave you cpr, and you coughed up water, and said, ' I got to see one last time.' We had no clue what was going through that little head of yours, but you passed out cold. And well we brought you here and now it is where we are talking." They saved my life? I gave her a hug and said, " thank you. And mike thank you." He smiled and Alisha said, " Haley you are my friend I wasn't going to let you die. Never." I shed a tear, and waited a moment.

But asked, " where's Chris?" She said, " he is out getting food." I said, " okay. How is he doing?" She said, " a little shaken but good." I got a notification on my phone I grabbed it and saw it was from Juliet, " hey Haley how's things?" I texted back, " hey juliet, things are shocking, but well I am alive." I saw Chris walk in and well I felt nothing, but he said, " I see sleeping breath has arisen from her nap?" I rolled my eyes and said, " very funny." But he set down the bag and threw me a kickstart I said, " thanks but how did you know." He pointed to alisha I said, "thank you."

My head was going through so many things right now. And well I asked, " are you guys okay?" They nodded, " just worried about you Haley. Can I ask what was going through your head?" I said, " well I really don't know, I just I was in my own world. And well I really didn't know I fell into the water to be honest."

Alisha gave me a hug and said, " okay just don't scare the hell out of me again. Alright." I nodded, " but what about scaring the hell out of you during Halloween." She looked at me with daggered, " never mind."

Four weeks later

So this is coming into our fourth week and today we finish our last scene. So this is where me and Chris sing. But also have some solo scenes from the both of us. But today we are filming this scene in the auditorium but well it looks like a whole graveyard in here. But so far this has come out really well. But for now today well for this scene meaning tiz is kind of our last scene we are going to have this girl meaning our stunt girl come running in, and she won't notice we are here, but well she soon passes out, but we stop playing and then she wakes up with this:

So it kind of brings all the elements we have together. But well I got dressed into this:but well we played and this is really freaking awesome. But Alisha said, " okay Haley Chris places. And in a few we will have Luanne run through, and then we will attach the wings. Got it?" I nodded and we played which sounded great, but Luanne came running through but fell to her knees, and Alisha stopped and said," okay cut. That was great. Now we can do the makeup and put the wings on but think of these wings like kind of a black to white ombré color. So well our whole music video will kind of be this:

Virus by Haley ward, ft. Chris motionless

( first scene: high school English class, girl falling asleep. And then goes into her head and music starts playing) Tell me all the lies you fucking spread, were they ever truly fatal? Am I really a freak? You never saw me as human.

( goes into another scene of the girl walking through the hall, but gets pushed over.) To me and the world you scream the words but only you say are damn nightmares.

( she gets back up and runs it of the school.)

You never suffocated me yet you try and try again.

( goes back in her head graveyard scene: Chris sings)

There's nothing I can do for you.The world and you are just a virus.

( me and Chris sing) Break my bones, my ways my hope. But never, you will never take my sanity.

( I scream) It only saw you as a virus.

( back in the class her sitting reading out of her text book, listening to music minding her own business, and the teacher rips the earbuds out yelling at her, she doesn't care, but she ignores the teacher. She puts her ear buds back in and the music returns with a guitar solo.)

( she is running out of the school, and to her room, but goes back in her head, where we see her running once again the graveyard, lyrics come back. Chris sings)

The cage you hold is never the same, until I hear you plead for fatal lies.

I never meant for this to be this way.

( she runs into the pool and stops then falls in. we're still playing, I sing) Your just a game, I gave up everything.Inject my head with lies. This fucking reality is a virus.

( a day after she comes running into the auditorium, we're still playing, but me and Chris sing one line then I sing the last) I know who I am and we're I came from.

Tell me this at you real, you just a fake?

The world like you are just a caged virus inside my head.

( she falls to the floor. We finish, and our spot goes black but she looks up with this and wings[offutt, wings and makeup)
