The Tiltuk Station

Kita bought the Eclipse Jister MK III from Aftiss Firearms. It was quite a good personal weapon and was small enough that he could easily conceal it and carry it with him while traveling. Although he knew that this gun wouldn't pose a threat against his alien enemies, But that didn't matter. If the Aliens came that close to him, Things had already gone too wrong to fix about an hour ago. So there was no point in trying to defend with this puny weapon. He was better of depending on his guards aboard the Jeager.

Kita bought the gun and 10,000 rounds of that special ammunition. Although he bought so much, he couldn't possibly hope to carry all that with him, So Aftiss would deliver most of the round back to his destination. Kita only took about 100 rounds with him. He could easily carry that much with him.

After loading up the gun and putting it in his pocket concealed, He paid the bill which amounted to 180,000 credits. He walked out the store.

When he came out, he looked around to see if the tails were still around. From the initial looks of it, it didn't seem that they were around. But Kita didn't let down his vigilance. He proceeded to walk to what could be considered the downtown area of the station. There would be a lot of alley way there. Which would be perfect for the situation.

He planned to confront at least one of them. And if needed, He was prepared to kill. He would need to escape from the station quickly if that happened, But his ship was only a few hours away. So, he could probably manage it.

The City of the Tiltuk Station Orbiting Krister IV wasn't just a boring space station that was only used for things like going in and out of the system and using them as space ports. Most of the space stations these days served multiple purpose and were massive enough that they could be considered a city all by themselves. There were many layers to a space station that kept it running smoothly. There were a lot of interests tied to each space station that turned them into valuable assets. They were trade hubs, Business Destinations, Space ports, Docks and more. These things turned each space station to a massive construct that could be considered a full fledged city in space.

Just like any city, there were the upper class district where much of the big business happened. Everyday delegates from different parties and conglomerates met and made deals that would profit them in the billions. All the establishments in these areas catered towards this demographic of people. These Business people were generally big spenders. They had the cash to spend. So these establishments generally presented themselves as a high-end establishment that would cater to the tastes of such people.

And then there was the middle and lower class districts that would cater to the less affluent crowd. The establishments there tried to keep things affordable enough that people could afford to spend at their shop or restaurant. As one could guess, this part of the city was less shiny, the buildings were less maintained, the roads around them followed suit. Although as the Tiltuk station was situated in a richer system, the conditions there were better than a lot of other stations.

As Kita walked through the lower class district, he remained as vigilant as ever. The tails that had seemingly disappeared had reappeared soon after he had gotten out of the store. They kept following him from a distance. Although they maintained their distance, their presence was still a concern for Kita.

As he looked around, he felt like the area around here was quite good enough. He began to execute his plan to handle them.

After walking a bit more, he took a right into a small alley. He had already looked up the map of this alley way, There were a few exits from where he could exit this alley way. It was pretty deserted, so he didn't have to worry about anyone seeing or hearing anything.

After Kita entered the Alley, he took one of the middle exits. He quickly hid himself near the end of the exit and waited.

His intention for entering this Alley was to sperate them. It was much safer to handle them one by one rather then all 3 together. As the alley had at least 5 different exits, they would need to split up to make sure that they covered all the exits so that they didn't lose him.

"Meow.", Noir said. He looked concerned.

"Don't worry buddy. When I was in the military, they trained us for situations like this. I can handle the 3 of them." Kita said calmly as he gave the cat a scratch in the head.

Noir was pretty intelligent. So he knew that he should stay as silent as possible and maybe help his master if any opportunity arises. So he did just that. He quickly got off of Kita's shoulder and hid himself in a corner.

Kita laid in await to see what the Tails were gonna do.

Soon he heard the footsteps of someone. From the sound of it, it was only a single person. As expected, they couldn't do anything except to split up, Otherwise they risked losing Kita. Just as Kita hoped.

Kita laid in silence as he heard the footsteps get closer and closer.

Kita didn't reveal himself. From his point of view, he was hidden pretty well, The shouldn't notice him easily. But just in case they did, Kita quietly held the Jister in his hands. He was ready to take action.

As the footsteps got closer, He saw the man. Kita couldn't see his face. He was covered from head to toe that concealed his face. Kita held the gun tighter when the man passed him.

When Kita felt that the man was far enough, he quickly positioned himself to fire at the man. He aimed the towards his calf in point blank range.

The man was alerted when he had revealed himself. As he tried to turn around Kita shot at his Calf. His right leg instantly became immobilized. As the man was still in the motion of turning around, he quickly fell on his back.

Right after falling on the ground, he quickly tried to reach for his gun at his waist. But Kita wouldn't let that happen, He quickly shot at his hands. His first bullet missed the shot and only grazed his hands. But he shot again and this time, it took out one of the fingers of the guy. That successfully stopped him for now.

Now Kita needed to hurry up, his allies were already on their way no doubt. Kita only had a few moments before he would need to run.

Kita approached the man on the floor and pointed his gun straight at him.

"Who sent you?", Kita didn't ask the obvious questions.

The man looked straight at Kita no doubt. But he didn't utter a single sentence. The only sounds that left his mouth were that of pain.

Seeing that the guy was uncooperative as expected, Kita aimed his gun at the other leg of the guy. He took another shot.

The man moaned again in pain. Kita had made sure to just miss his kneecaps, But that still hurt like hell. From the looks of it, he didn't have much armor on him. That was a bit unexpected, but still welcomed.

Kita aimed the gun at his head and asked.

"Who sent you?", There was no point in asking who he was or something. He only needed a single piece of information from the guy, His employer. Any other questions were pointless.

The man, although in great pain, he refused to utter a single word.

Time was running out, Kita needed to hurry up, or he risked getting compromised by the others.
