"If you have anything to ask then do so, Kurogiri." Sho asked the ethereal man beside who flinched, as much as a man made out of purple mist can flinch that is.
"I just am not sure why you are doing things this subtly instead of…" Kurogiri trailed of as he looked like he wasn't sure how to word his thoughts.
"Instead of just getting my hands on every strong quirk and then using them to lay siege on Japan like my father did in his younger years." Kurogiri could only nod at that. Even if the government had hidden pretty much everything about vigilantes and villains who had caused great changes in those times, to those who knew, All for One's rise to power had been legendary.
He had committed acts both as a savior to those who did not know what to do in the chaotic times and made himself into a figure of trust. Then he had used the power he had accumulated to crush his oppositions and for those with quirks, take those into his arsenal either as his own or as a power for his subordinates. Quirks were already superior to weapons of that age but none of them had enough power to oppose All for One by themselves. That was the reason Yoichi, the first user of One for All, had to give his quirk away in hopes that it could oppose his brother in time, which it did.
"For a lack of better term Kurogiri, because that doesn't sound interesting to me." Sho shrugged his shoulders as the mist man looked at him.
"Father did attain his power with overpowering shows of power, even though so much could go wrong with such a plan, because that was interesting to him, like a game. In a age where something like quirks were only work of fiction, becoming a super villain that would control this country with great force and minions sounded interesting to him, it was fun for him."
"And it isn't for you?" Kurogiri tilted his head(neck? gas?).
"Not particularly, I find the thought of the so called leaders of this society dancing upon my palm without even realizing even more fun. Though…" sho trailed off as he looked around him, even in the outskirts of the city, far away from most humans, he could still see the buildings and lightly hear the sound of people going on with their lives.
"A show of force would cause damage to Japan. I want Japan. I am not the sort of person who likes to break their possessions." Sho smirked in a way that would cause a heart attack to Allmight and Gran Torino, for it was the same smile his own father had…
Before killing Shimura Nana.
"But that's not important now. Tell me about the man with MY new mental quirk." Sho clapped his hands like a little boy excited for his new toy, not even referring to quirk as anything but his.
"His name is Juro Akihiko, he is a priest who has a friendly relationship with people who know him."
"And the real story?"
"His name is Edgar Cizko, a former villain from Greece with a mind molding quirk that lets him change the personality of his victims. He ran away from Greece after he tried to go after one of Wonder Woman's sidekicks while she was on rise and barely managed to get out. He is a wanted man with an actual kill order on Greece and several other countries. Nowadays he simply rearranges the minds of women to make them fit for less than… 'pleasant' jobs for a price." A grade A scumbag that not even Sho's father would want around. All for One had been a monster but he never was a sexist one.
Edgar Cizko, a DC villain for Wonder Woman named Dr Psycho whose whole shtick was being a ugly and sexist midget that no one would feel bad for when Wonder Woman punched him in the face. Though this one looked less like Edgar Cizko and more like Leon Zeiko. Probably the only reason nobody realized who he was till now. Though…
"When I said a subtle quirk, it was more along the lines of a passive effect that would make people trust me or make my presence soothing and addictive. Not a full blown mind rape quirk." Cause this was what he was getting. A quirk that would forcefully change someone with no care for who they used to be.
"Contrary to popular belief, such quirks are not common. As a matter of fact they are extremely rare in entire world, sir. Even the 'Telepathy' of Mandalay of Pussy Cats is less full telepathy and more talking to people in their minds." Kurogiri told his master as they finally reached the door of the church.
"Why did we walk here though, sir? I could have teleported us in."
"Scenery route my friend. Not to mention this is the first time I got out of the lab, I wanted to enjoy some fresh air." Sho shrugged his shoulders as he wondered how to deal with the ex villain behind the doors. In the end he decided that being direct was the best solution so he just opened the door and walked in.
"Oh, hello good sir. Welcome to the humble house of god." a black haired man in priest garbs greeted them with a bow. If one did not know of it beforehand, none would realize he was a man who had brainwashed women into being prostitutes and sold them to brothels.
"Hello, I am here concerning my... sins." Sho smiled at Edgar Cizko who seemed to be confused.
"You mean you are here for confession? If so I would like your friend to leave as it would not be professional of me to do this with an audience. It is supposed to be private after all." Edgar smiled awkwardly as he rubbed his hands together.
"Do not worry, it is not exactly something that has to stay private. I just need to... get it off my chest." Sho said as he raised his hand.
"You see, it is quite unfortunate but, I am going to kill someone." Sho said and before the pries could do anything, his finger turned black with red cracked lines on it and extended faster than a normal human can see. Before Edgar even realized what happened, the black tendril had pierced through his throat and returned to it's former normal finger shape.
"Rivet Stab. A truly impressive quirk isn't it." Sho said as he used a handkerchief to wipe the blood off of his finger while he walked towards the fallen priest, who was trying to stop the bleeding in vain with his hands.
"I apologize for doing this in such a way but unfortunately I have certain plans and your quirk is something I am in need of, while you are not, mister Cizko." Sho put his right hand on the dying priest's head and for the first time, activated All for One.
The light in Edgar Cizko's eyes and the life in his body left him along with his quirk.
"Congratulations on your new quirk, sir." Kurogiri said as he walked next to the Sho, who did not react at all.
"Sir?"
"It truly is a spectacular quirk." Sho muttered.
"How so, sir? While it definitely is a strong quirk in the right hands, such as yours, it is not something I would exactly call 'spectacular'." Kurogiri tilted his head to the right as he tried to understand his master.
"No, not Cizko's quirk, Kurogiri. All for One." Sho looked at his hand and then clenched it into a fist.
"It doesn't simply take the quirk. As it was leaving Cizko's body and becoming mine, I understood the quirk; it's powers, how to use them and weaknesses. All for One tells them all." Sho smiled a full teeth smile as he understood his personal quirk and the abilities of the new one.
Mind Program. Edgar Cizko's quirk did not simply brainwash people into becoming what he wanted them to be. Instead it left behind a 'program' that would integrate itself into the mind of the victim and take root in it through touching their heads. What Cizko did with women destroyed most of the mental capacity of the victims and made them easy to manipulate for pretty much anyone, that was because the 'programs' he put inside their minds were far too contradicting to the victim and made their minds snap. Sho could already see a far more suitable and subtler use for such a quirk.
"Kurogiri, have someone burn down this church and the body. I believe Dr Garaki has made the preparations for us to meet Intelli family."
