6: The Teller

Zandro takes Mila home in his car and immediately gets out of the car still wearing his shoes. "You can give it back to me at our next meeting," Zandro speaks and Mila just nods her head in response.

"I head inside now. Thank you for the dinner date, Zandro," Mila says and smiles at him. Zandro was about to take a step backwards when he noticed Caleb on the window leaning his body against the wall with a glass of red wine in his hands. He smirks and moves closer towards Mila.

"Let us meet again, Mila," he whispers as he kisses Mila's head and finally goes to his car and leaves. Mila touches her head and Zandro kisses her.

"I hope you won't get mad at me sis, I am doing this for you. I have no intention of taking your husband," she murmurs and walks inside as she opens the main door.

While Mila was climbing upstairs Caleb showed up in front of her and gave him a smile. Mila smiles at him too and continues to climb the stairs and immediately takes off the shoes and gives them to the maid who is just standing beside Caleb. "Prepare a shower for me," she speaks.

"Yes, miss," the maid spoke as she walked away to go to her room and prepare her shower and the clothes she needed to wear.

"So, how was the date?" Caleb asks her and both of them stop at the bar table on the second floor. Caleb gave her a glass of wine too.

"Nothing's special. It seems Zandro was kind of different now. I can't see him as a manipulative husband but rather a caring and loving one. I guess that personality he had is something that took my sister's heart," Mila speaks as she sips the wine that Caleb gave to her.

'Caring and loving, eh?' Caleb thought to himself as he stared at the glass of wine he was holding. He's jealous. He couldn't deny it because he knew he had been interested in her since the two of them were children. Caleb tried to court her but she refused, but despite this, he continues to love her. Despite the fact that he had no legal rights to her, he still loved her.

"I guess the right time to be in Zandro's mansion and be with him maybe after two weeks? or a month? Too much will make Zandro even more confused about me. I know my sister more than anyone, with just two or three sweet words she will immediately forgive Zandro. What do you think?" Mila asks Caleb looking at his serious face still staring at the wine. Mila blushed a bit when she saw how handsome Caleb was but immediately she shook her head.

"Hmm, maybe," he pauses for a moment and speaks again. "Weeks are enough to seduce that dumb man anyway, he is head over heels for you so I am sure he will be delighted once you tell him that you want to be with him again."

"Okay, cheers," Mila speaks and raises her glass of wine, giving Caleb a smile on her face. Caleb smiled at her too and both of them clanged their glass of wine before drinking it.

The day has come and Mila was busy with the papers given by Caleb. It was all to process her company that soon she would be the one to manage it. After reading all of it, she signed it and gave it back to their butler, Arci. "I will now take my leave," he said and immediately went outside of her room.

Mila was still wearing her nightgown since it was still six in the morning, she immediately stood up and went to the bathroom to wash her face. After minutes, she is now wearing her black sports bra and black short leggings, on her way to the gym inside Caleb's mansion. It is been a while since she did some exercises.

She was finally at the sliding door of the gym and there she saw Caleb doing some push-ups with his one hand causing her to smile. Caleb was half naked causing his muscle and his abs to be visible to Mila's eyes. She knows that Caleb was once a nerdy guy that is why after years of separating ways, she couldn't believe that Caleb would turn into a hot guy that every girl would dream of.

She continues to watch Caleb counting while doing push-ups, leaning her body against the wall with her arms crossed. When he finally senses her presence, he turns his head to look at her and sits in an Indian seat. "Why don't you join with me?" he asks.

Mila walks closer to the locker covers her hands with some hand wrap and speaks. "I will just do some warm-ups and practice my skills. It is been years already since I haven't do this. Wanna try it with me?" Caleb was staring at her and decided to stand up.

"I guess it is much better to watch you," he speaks causing Mila to pout but Caleb didn't see it. "My time is ticking, I have meetings to attend this morning but I will still make time to watch you."

Mila turns around and walks closer to him. "Just get dressed and go to your meetings. I will be fine here. I will just come to your office later after this, perhaps, I will invite Alexia too. It is been a while since the three of us bonded with each other," Mila speaks causing Caleb to let out a sigh.

"Alright, come to the office whenever you want to," he said and gave her a smile before heading out to the gym. A maid suddenly appeared out of nowhere and spoke.

"Miss, someone was calling you." Mila immediately took her phone to the maid's hand to see who the caller was. She immediately accepts the call.

"What's the news? Have you found anything?" she asks through the phone.

"Well, I found something interesting that could make you happy. However, you have two choices what to hear first. A bad news or the good news?" Mila thought about it and decided to sit in the chair in front of her before replying.

"Tell me the bad news first."
