16: Rotten Bodies

Mila stared at him without even flinching. "What do you mean, Mr. Zandro?" She caught him smirking and drinking his wine as he stared at his people again.

"Probably just my imagination. Don't mind it." Mila just looked away and drank her wine. "She even doesn't love drinking that kind of wine that you head." Her heart skipped a beat when Zandro said that but still tried to make herself calm.

Everything went well, Mila told Zandro that she needed to excuse herself as she wanted to go to the restroom to fix her makeup. When she finally reached the restroom, she immediately took her red lipstick and applied it to her lips.

"That man is good at remembering everything, I should be careful," she muttered and placed back all of her makeup.

She went back to where she left Zandro, she still saw him alone drinking his wine. He seems to be staring blankly, thinking seriously. He senses someone is staring at him causing him to move his eyes to look at Mila who is currently staring at him too.

She smiled and waved her hands causing Zandro to raise his eyebrows. Mila walks away while Zandro still keeps on staring at her. "Silly woman." He muttered and drank his wine again before moving his head to look away.

It's been three hours since the event started, and a few minutes more it will end now. Mila was still guarding her two targets secretly. She was waiting for them to leave but it seemed Gil, Winston's brother was waiting for something. He keeps on looking at his watch and at some people leaving. What could it be that he is waiting?

Mila looks at Winston causing her to move closer to her still trying to guard her two targets. She felt relieved when Zandro was finally gone. "I will go with you, I don't want to stay here but don't worry, I will be back to continue my mission."

"Good girl." Mila raises her eyebrows looking at Winston's back. She just shook her head and went to his limousine and the driver now started to drive away from the place. Mila immediately opened the window and looked outside.

"What are you doing?"

"Completing my mission, Sir Winston." He looked outside first before looking at her again but to his surprise, Mila just vanished like thin air. He didn't even sense that she was gone now.

"That lady is something— she is scarier than expected," Winston mutters as he looks outside.

Mila was jumping and running from the cars until she reached the main place. Luckily, the staff didn't close the doors yet so he was able to enter. She knew that Gil and Mr. Douleur were still there since their car was still parked in the parking area. She continued to run and find her two targets until she saw them in the hallway.

"I am sorry Father but I had to do this. I needed the wealth." He clenches his fist as he looks at his Father with teary eyes. Mila was just there hiding and observing them. "Why you're so selfish!? Even a small percentage shares from your company, you don't want to share it with me! We are your son!"

Mila raises her eyebrows after hearing it. As far as she knew, the contract regarding the wealth of his Father had already been signed. That all of his shares will directly go to him so what nonsense is he talking about?

Gil immediately took out the dagger causing Mr. Douleur his eyes to widen and was speaking that you cannot understand. Mr. Douleur looks like was about to have a heart attack after seeing the knife in front of him coming his way. Gil brought his Father inside the room and didn't even try to lock the door.

Mila saw how Gil stabbed his Father multiple times while crying and saying sorry. "How pity." Mila prepared her dart with poison. After seeing Gil stop stabbing his Father and was about to head out of the room, Mila immediately set her dart on her target and hit Gil's neck causing him to stop walking. He took the dart and looked around but he saw no one.

Everything became blurry and then he immediately fell to the ground. He cannot move his body. He tries to stand up but he can't, everything becomes dark and he is slowly losing breath causing him to cry even more as he touches his neck.

"W-who—"

Mila saw Gil dead with his eyes wide open. Gil accidentally dropped his left hand on the floor, pushing the door closed. After that, Mila left without the staff noticing her. Even the CCTV can't be able to detect her because of how fast she is. The crime scene that happened after the celebration was hidden. No one sees it. The dead bodies just there as their souls seeking for help and justice.

After eight days, some staff in the place where the celebration was held smelled the stinky smell inside the room. They knew that it smelled like a rotten body but no one tried to check it as they thought that it was all just a ghost trying to seek attention since the place especially in that room had some ghost stories.

"Fuma took some trash bags in room 0065. After that, come back here, okay?" The staff named Fuma immediately followed the order and went to the room. She suddenly remembered that it was the rumored room where there was a ghost trying to ask for help. She stopped and thought about whether to head inside or not but this was her first work and she didn't want to make her manager disappointed in her. She doesn't want to get fired immediately.

She shook her head and went closer. She counted to three and quickly opened the door. She can still smell the rumored rotten body, she opens the lights and her eyes widen after seeing what's in front of her. Two bodies are rotten! Fuma screamed louder causing other staff to quickly go to where she was.

Just like Fuma, their eyes widen at what they have seen. "Dead rotten bodies!"
