Chapter 4: Zander Kamau File 1/2

Zander Kamau was not a well known assassin despite the number of things he had done, one perhaps would consider to be a exaggeration of the truth when some recanted his tales like stories. Zander despite being a assassin couldn't always hide in plain sight, nor had as many chances to train his building scaling, as the places he often went had no extremely big buildings, but rather trees. He could be considered a rural assassin and one of the best at it.

He had been raised in the forest like an animal, it always felt like home and gave him a familair feeling everytime he returned. He took baths in streams, slept in a tree house that was handbuilt over the years, and hunted down animals. He had not known how to read or write, his primary source of entertainment was hunting down animals and tree climbing, but all thst changed in a single night.

Zander Kamau was reurning from a hunt in the forest that he thought of as his home. He was currently attempting to break the tough body of a komodo dragon that tried to eat him, he had seen killed many, but couldn't fully break their skin with his bare hands. Every time he punched it felt as if his hand was being destoyed by a hundred thousand pounds of weight.

Punch after Punch nothing happened to the dragon, only Zander's hand were covered in his own blood, he wanted a new weapon and maybe the body of the little dragon could help him.

Even through he was distracted and focused on punching the dragon, he never let himself fully focus on the dragon, as anything could happen in the forest. He heard nothing in his ears, yet his nose tingled as a unknown smell, for a brief second entered his nostrils. Never once in his life had he doubted his senses. He didn't turn around at the moment as his senses told him not to. He raised up off the ground and turned around and threw a bloody fist in the direction, as he felt the wind change in the direction the faint smell came from.

His bloody fist slamed directly into a figure's body as they flew and slamed directly into a close tree. His surival instinct clocked in as he thought his life was on the line, he rushed foward towards the figure like a wild animal that had been stabbed. A throwing knife was thrown directly at his face, but that was easily dodged by wild movement frim Zander. The figure's legs tried to stand, but there legs shook and stopped said action.

His fist balled up and was thrown into the direction of the figure with force that looked unstopable.

He saw the tree the figure was laid up against, but that vision was soon distorted, his nose tingled once more, as now the only thing he saw was the moon that happened to be full tonight. He was no longer standing up like a unmoveable force, but now laying down on the ground with a dumbfounded expression that he never knew he could make.

"Ais, Ais are you okay!!! A man who sounded pretty old yelled out with great vigor and emotion

A tired and shaky voice was heard." Yes, dad… Im still breathing"

"Thank the heavens, I dont know what I would do without you."

The man looked over towards the boy who had a body that didn't match his apperence and muttered in a cold and emotionless voice.

"I will kill you for harming my little girl" he said as he rushed towards the boy laid arcoss the ground

"Wa-Wait dad STOP!!!! The girl named Ais yelled out while coughing

As if a spell stopped him instantly, he stopped like a soldier scared of not following the order of a high rank.

"Why? Tell me why i should't end this kids life right now? He said in a curious, cold, and questionable tone that seeked answers.

"It was my fault for getting hurt, because of my own foolishness so pl- please don't kill the boy"

The man retracted his intent and walked towards the boy and asked a simple question who was now standing up with the intent to fight.

"How did you get the better of my daughter?"

Slience, so he asked again

"How did you bet the better of my daughter"

Slience once again remained in the moonlite space in the forest.

The seemly old man eyes closed, as he nodded in undertsanding, he looked over towards his daughter who looked confused.

"Im sure of it, this kid does not have the ability to speak. He glanced over the kids bloody clothing, messy hair, and slighty dirty face.

The man loudly laughed while walking back towards his daughter

" Lets go" the man said

" Wait, what about him" the girl said while pointing at the boy who never dropped his guard

" What? Do you want him after he beat you? The man said in a teasing tone and began to laugh again at his daughter.

"W-Wha-What how could you say th-that we just met and it wasn't pleasant meeting" the girl called Ais said with a angry blushing expression which caused the old man to laugh even louder with a smile.

"Alright,Alright we can teach him some stuff, in fact he could be my apprentice since he could even best you.

The girl just looked away with a embrassed expression which causee the laughing man ribs to hurt.

He pulled out a foreign object that was unknown to Zander, as he looked over a unknown thing flew over and hit him in the neck.

He was unphased and it seemed like he didnt even feel it, maybe he thought of it as a bug he say everyday?

Plew, Plew, Plew

Three flew over and only slighty moved him.

The man and girl wore a dumbfounded expression as the boy had not fell over yet.

Plew, Plew, Plew, Plew, Plew, Plew, Plew, Plew, Plew

The orginally unphased boy fell over and landed on the ground

"What kind of person did we stumble upon" the man said as he picked up the girl then the boy before disapearing away from the moonlight.
