The First Hunt
Under the blazing sun, Noah led 300 women through the desert, not on foot this time, but in several large trucks. Without other survivors to slow them down, they were not worried about monster attacks, instead, they hoped for monsters to come quickly. Thus, each truck dragged a long string of metal bottles and cans behind it, creating a clinking, clattering noise as they collided.
Monsters in the desert region mostly have poor vision but excellent senses of smell and hearing. During the day, they bury themselves in the sand to avoid the scorching temperatures. However, the unusual high-frequency noise would lure them out in search of food, after which they would retreat back into the sand, waiting for nightfall.
