I felt a hand tenderly brushing my hair with great care. I slowly opened my eyes, what greeted me was the face of my lover looking at me affectionately.

''Did I wake you up?'' She asked sweetly, her crimson eyes were shining in the darkness of the room.

I slightly shook my head ''Nah, don't worry about it. I was just getting up anyway.'' We stayed in each other's arms for a while before separating.

Laying on my back I asked ''Mind leveling me up Hephie?''

She sighed grabbing her temples ''You still haven't told me what happened Ken.''

I turned my head and smirked at her ''It was so good that you forgot about it, huh?''

Blushing slightly red at my provocation, she decided that the only comeback would be to slap my back extra hard. Something she very much enjoyed doing during our plays as well ''Shut it!'' She whispered in indignation.

Only the sounds of our breathing filled the room. No one spoke for a while, I just let her process the information she saw.

''I'm not letting you into the dungeon anymore Ken.'' Hephie seriously said with a no-nonsense tone as she crumbled the status sheet.

I was shocked hearing what she said ''What?''

''I mean it. You are not going back there Ken.'' She looked me in the eyes. '' That was not normal, I don't even know why you stayed there in the first place.'' She paused, grabbing my cheek ''I don't want you to die Ken.''

I sat up and grabbed her shoulders ''Come on Hephie, that was a very special case. It's not like the dungeon is going to keep doing this each time I enter. ''I laughed a bit, but she didn't seem to want to share it.

''Why do you need to get so much stronger, Ken? Why are you trying to master as much as you can, as if you are on a timer?'' She asked a question that seemed to be haunting her.

''Is there something you're hiding from me that I need to know?''

I sat there for a few seconds, debating what to exactly tell her. She just got close to me and patiently waited for me to gather my thoughts.

''Well, you know how I told you I'm not really from around here.'' She nodded, and I continued, '' That is the truth, but not its entirety.''

I went off to explain to her in great detail my current situation and my future one. This talk had to be had if I want to take my relationship with Hephie to the next level.

I can't just make a 'go get the milk' move and disappear out of her life someday. I would never do that.

''So you're telling me that you once died. Somehow, got this system thing that gives you abilities and lets you travel between worlds that you have knowledge of. And you chose this world as your first world. Am I getting this right?'' She strangely said, looking weirdly at me.

''Look. I know how weird it sounds. Even I still barely believe it, but that's just how it is.'' I shrugged my shoulders.

''And I assume you want to go to other worlds?'' She said in a small voice. ''And what will you be doing there exactly?''

''There is no need for me to tell you anything Hephie. I will find a way for the both of us to go.'' I grabbed her hand. ''Imagine visiting all the different vibrant worlds with varying technologies and races. It's going to be legendary.

''No offense Hephie, but this world is quite bland.'' I laughed and she hit my shoulders not looking particularly offended.

''And I guess there are other women that you saw in your 'visions', huh?'' She looked right at me questionably.

''*cough *cough. Umm, maybe?'' I scratched my neck sheepishly.

She rolled her eyes.'' How about you tell me about some worlds you plan on going to?''

I was a big fan of the High school DxD franchise, so I started to tell her about it.

''Where do I start? How about I tell you about one of my favourite worlds. Something that you are going to find strange is that a lot of god genders are reversed.'' I informed her.

''So they have gods as well in other worlds.'' She hummed thoughtfully. ''And what about the gender swaps?'' She grabbed my side, and we laid back on the bed.

''They are some of the most disgusting pieces of shit I've ever had the displeasure of finding out about. From what you told me, the gods here are PG versions of the gods out there.''

''Hmm. What's PG?'' She asked intently.

''Oh, it just something that means they are morally better.'' I explained briefly.

I started with Greek Mythology, the pantheon Hephaestus belonged to. She was not that impressed with the pure and utter bullshit their counterparts came up with. The gods here were not born but created in Danmachi.

''Basically, more than half of the Greek Pantheon as you called it is an offspring of Zeus somehow or the other. And my counterpart is a lame exiled disabled male god, which happens to be the offspring of Zeus as well.'' She paused after that

''The gods, in general, loved screwing over mortal like they were toys, especially the frankly unbelievable Zeus'' She said in an uneven tone.

''That's pretty much it.'' She summed it up pretty nicely.

''You realise how ridiculous that sounds? It's like someone took us and ramped all of our bad traits to the extreme in the most disturbing way possible. At least Hestia stayed the same.'' She huffed.

''Tell me about it. You realise how surprised I was when I found out about the inverted genders?''

''This is stupid. Just tell me about some forging knowledge or something relevant.'' She looked slightly mad. I didn't think it would get under her skin like that.

I laughed ''Come on. Why so grumpy?''

''They sound more like overgrown children with powers rather than gods.'' She whined indignantly.

''Hahaha, what a nice way to describe them.''
