I looked at my naked lover peacefully sleeping in my arms. Traces of our battle were apparent, the bed frame crooked, and the bedsheet stained with our mixed liquids.
The bites and love marks on her, the deep nail marks on my back; the sweat rolling down on both of us made it even more erotic.
I could feel Ken. Jr slowly spring into action once more just from looking at the scene.
I shook my head and got up.
I needed some actual answers this time.
There was a letter on top of the drawer. 'Sorry, something came up Hephie, need to go. Promise I'll make it up to you. -Love Ken.'

Although we must have spent a decent amount of time together, there was significantly less temporal change outside.

It was still not possible for me to directly influence the time around me, but speeding up or slowing down the relative time perception of someone or something was possible for me at my current state.
I could have just kept Hephi's perception slowed down while I went on with my own stuff, but it just didn't sit with me right.
Since I needed answers, the best way would be to just ask the ruler of this whole planet.

The trip to the throne room was not that eventful, I just shapeshifted into a bird and flew in. I was about to knock at the massive doors when Fels decided to make his entrance.

''What are you doing here? How did you get here? I didn't see you in the entrance.'' Asked the skeletal entity ever so slowly.
I rolled my eyes ''Not the time dude. Can you just notify Lord Ouranos I want to have a talk?''
''What for?''
I just grabbed one jewel fetus, separated it from my touch by some very minor wind magic and showed it to him. I'm sure he already knows about this shit anyway.
He widened his eye sockets and simply just opened the door and gestured me in.
Ouranos was sitting regally on his throne as usual, seemingly detached from this world. His eyes regained a bit of light when he saw me.
''My favorite 'mortal' arrives.'' He said with his booming voice.
''Sure, sure. I really need some real answers now, Lord Ouranos. '' I dropped a bag of Jewel Fetuses. The contents spilled out evenly on the ground.
''I almost got killed in the dungeon today. Hundreds of monsters crawled from the deep floors to get my head the moment I removed this stuff from some infected monsters.''
''So that tremor was made by you, is that it?'' Fels commented from the side. ''I have already investigated what happened, from the 35th to the 37th floor now have a deep abyss connecting the three floors together. The damage extends further as well.'' He didn't seem to readily believe I was the perpetrator.
''That is irrelevant to the current conversation. I simply did what I had to do.'' I said to the man on the right of Ouranos.
The bona-fide Overlord of Danmachi hummed. ''What do you know about the dungeon?'' Fels seemed surprised about the question.
''Not a lot I'm afraid.''
''So you do know a bit, huh? Matters not.
What I'm about to tell you is something that even the vast majority of gods don't know about. The only reason I'm telling you this is because of the potential you showed you had in clearing the dungeon.''
I nodded. It seemed like a fair judgement. Besides, I'm sure he won't be telling me the whole story either way.
''The dungeon was made by Gaia, the Mother spirit of the Lower World to protect the world and bring balance to it.''
'He means THE Gaia?' I thought.
He continued ''It was going as planned for Gaia, the people of the Lower World were starting to decrease and thus the balance was being achieved.'' He paused
I hummed, showing that I was following what he was saying.
''The lower and middle spirits were aiding the adventurers on the orders of Gaia. However, they started mingling with the people more, exerting their powers more and more.'' He hummed.
''I was one of the first few gods to arrive at the Lower World. Everything was new, exciting to us. A group decided to head to the dungeon, they severely underestimated Gaia the Mother spirit and payed dearly for it. They were absorbed by the dungeon and it gave birth to the three Great Quest monsters.'' He shook his head.
''I had to make a deal with Gaia, the gods would not use their Arcanum on the Lower World but we would give Adventurers our blessing instead.''
I looked at the Jewel Fetuses '' And this is the way for the dungeon to try to achieve balance? Making corrupted monster Spirits? And it didn't like what I did so much?''
He seemed slightly surprised but nodded in confirmation.
''But how is the One-Eyed Dragon so strong? Is there something special about it?'' I asked.
''You are far from thinking about that accursed Dragon Boy. Just focus on the dungeon for now.'' He shook his head with some tension in his voice.
I widened my eyes slightly, I knew that thing was supposed to be strong. But this strong to warrant such a reaction? Did it get stronger or something?
''Is that so?'' I said absent-mindedly, thinking of the possibilities in my head.
I teleported back to the room, Hephie was still sleeping it seems. I put the letter back into my inventory, cleaned the bed up while gently lifting her up with wind magic. I removed my armor, grabbed her into my arms and laid there.
My mind was revaluating this whole situation now, what would happen if that stupid dragon decided to just appear in Orario?
Honestly, as long as I grabbed Hephie and Tsubaki. I couldn't care less about the other stuff.
I looked at her her cute sleeping face one last time before napping for a bit.
