I just recently dropped a new novel. It's a fantasy isekai original novel.

A weight I didn't know I carried was lifted from my shoulders when I talked about the world-hopping and other stuff with Hephie. It was honestly liberating, and I was much more comfortable having someone to share my plans with and communicate with freely— as freely as I could.

We were heading to a fancy restaurant for a night's date. No reservations were needed when you were a god, apparently.

''You look stunning, Hephie.'' I grabbed her hand.

She really did, the black dress she wore hugged her curves perfectly, showing her legs and shoulders. Her red earrings fluttered along with the gusts of wind, crimson eyes shining ever so slightly. Scarlet hair slightly going past her neck and resting on her shoulders instead.

I smiled when I saw that ''See. I told you longer hair would look great on you.'' I kissed her cheek.

''It better.'' She smiled at me ''Long hair is pretty hard to deal with while forging.'' She grabbed the extended tips of her now slightly longer time.

''I bet it is, I bet it is.''

''You look handsome as usual, too.'' She blushed, locked her arms into mine, and we walked along.

How can she still get shy after all we did together is a mystery to me.

I wasn't as well-dressed as her, giving a modern casual touch to my attire with an open marine blue chirt and deep blue pants. I styled my hair in an undercut, parted to the right.

We passed by a very familiar run-down church. I stopped for a while to check up on it. And it was exactly how it was depicted. I was tempted to enter and look up the inside; it was ultimately not the time.

''Hmm. What's so interesting about it?'' Asked a puzzled Hephie from behind me.

''Nothing really. Just reminded of something.'' I just waved off her question.

We got to the restaurant that Hephie recommended we spend our night date in.

I could not pretend to be an expert on Orario's infrastructure, it was a job for the locals.

One thing I would like to comment on however is how close it was to entertainment district. The red lights were not too far into the distance.

The darkness of the night did nothing more than accentuate it.

The restaurant was a luxurious stone and marble paved three-story building. The lights were bright, and symmetrically placed, adding a romantic and fantastical feeling to it.

''Ara~ Ara~ Is that you Hephaestus?'' Said a beautiful mature woman with long wavy golden honey coloured hair and orange eyes in a professional maid uniform.

'Damn. She checks so many fetishes. This kind of shit would do too well back home.

I never figured out why this world is influenced by the Japanese culture in the weirdest places.' I inquired.

''Demeter?'' asked Hephie back.

[Demeter-Lvl?]

''It is you, Hephaestus.'' She went and hugged her.

Their boobs struggled for dominance, it saddens me to say that it was in favour of the newcomer.

''Cut it out!'' Hephie huffed and aggressively separated from her. ''You're always like that. Did you somehow get worse.'' She trailed off.

The goddess of agriculture just laughed awkwardly and looked at me, '' Here is Ken, my l-lover.'' Hephie adorably declared, presenting me.

''Is that him? You are as good-looking as the rumours going on. But men like you tend to be big bad wolves.'' She put her finger on her lips in a ditzy air-headed fashion.

Fulfilling yet another fetish for certain individuals.

Alas, I would say she is good-natured, but that air-headiness was artificial at best.

''Big bad wolf, huh?'' Hephie fixed her sights on me for a second.

''I'll leave you to your date then.'' She playfully winked and headed into the counter to pick up some orders.

''What was that about?'' I asked Hephie.

''Oh. This restaurant is actually a property of the Demeter Familia. That's why the food is quite good.'' Oh, she's really been hyping it up ''They get the ingredients directly from the harvest and have some of the best chefs around.'' She explained.

''And why exactly is a god playing waitress?'' I said weirdly.

''My first time seeing her here as well, Ken.'' She shook her head.

We sat down at our chairs, they were very comfortable, and the smell of leather was strong. The table was round and carpeted with red cloth. There were wine glasses on each side of the table, along with silverware.

It didn't take long for the service staff to take our orders, I ordered a classic well-done steak with some white wine. Hephie ordered a potato salad alongside red wine, she seemed to know her stuff.

The date went along very nicely. I even allowed myself to get drunk a bit when we got home. We talked about all sorts of things, and we got to know each other a lot more.

Unlike Tsubaki, Hephie was the crying type of drunk.

There was a lot of ugly crying coming from our room. Luckily, I had made some barriers set up. Otherwise, it would have sounded very weird.

I somehow managed to make her check my development abilities through that.

She just hugged me and passed out. Never letting her drink too much.

[Mixing.]

Massively improves quality when creating items such as potions.

There were some other options, but this was something I would like to have as soon as possible. Alchemy was just too useful— mixing ought to help with that.

As a matter of fact, I was heading to Miach to try to rip him off for another lesson, *Cough* I mean help him out with his unfortunate situation.

''Ken. You're here for more potions?'' Asked the man behind the counter with an amicable smile.

''Yes, I am.'' I paused ''But maybe if somehow we could have another lesson?'' I asked, hopefully.

It didn't take long to convince him to make way for some lessons. Although, I decided to pay him in Valis this time.

The situation with the Dian Cecht Familia was already dealt with, but they needed some funds to startup and maybe kick their asses.

I thought it was very obvious that I only helped them to gain his gratitude, but that turned out not to be the case.

The amicable naïve fool thought that was something I did out of pure goodness of my heart.

Unsure if it were because of the mixing development ability I took or some other factor. But I got a skill now.

With the proper level, the user is able to create Elixirs from trivial ingredients.

It was high-noon when we finished the lesson '' That was remarkable, Ken. I have never seen such a talented brewer. I knew you had in you from the time before.'' He smiled.

''It just comes naturally to me, what can I say?'' I lightly praised myself, and we shared a laugh together.
