A game of seduction

Jasmine's pov

Liam's eyes widened as he answered his phone call. I was furious at the interruption of our special moment.

"Ra.... Rachel," he called her name softly and I raised a curious brow. She had the audacity to call him after the wedding.

I stood beside him, arms crossed, trying to listen in on their conversation.

"Why did you leave me, Rachel? What did I do wrong?" Liam asked, his tone calm and gentle.

I rolled my eyes at his behavior.

"I will be back soon, love. Congratulations on your wedding with Jasmine," Rachel said with a giggle.

"How did you know that?" He asked her.

"I have my eyes everywhere, babe. I miss you and I will see you soon," she said before hanging up.

"Rachel, damn it," Liam muttered under his breath. His face was scrunched up in frustration and his body was drenched in sweat.

He tried calling her repeatedly but her number was unreachable.

"Why are you stressing yourself over someone who doesn't love you?" I asked him and he turned to me with a frown on his face.

"You don't know that. She loves me, Rachel loves me. Something is wrong somewhere that's why she left," he defended.

"Liam, are you under her spell? You claim she loves you yet she left you on your wedding day," I pointed out.

He paced up and down the living room, lost in thoughts. I began to have second thoughts about the contract marriage.

He still didn't believe Rachel had done something wrong. He still loved her regardless and here I was begging for him to give me a chance.

"I'm going to bed," I informed him, he was too lost in thoughts to reply. I walked into his room.

I decided i was going to stay in his room. We were married and we have to stay together. I had the perfect plan to make Liam fall in love with me.

He felt something for me but something was pushing him back. I will make him forget about Rachel and claim him as mine.

I drew in a deep breath as I sat on the bed. The wall of his rooms were painted grey while the bed covers was black.

His room was like him, mysterious and dark. I changed my outfit into a short pink reveling night gown hoping to catch his attention.

I had the perfect body that could make a man go crazy. Let's see if he would resist me when he sees me this way.

I was desperate to do anything to make this man love me.

I rejected every male advance towards me when I was in school because of how much I loved Liam.

Heavy footsteps sounds were coming closer towards the room. I sat on the bed with my legs crossed hoping he would notice me.

Liam's back was turned to me when he entered the room. A seductive grin on my face as I waited for him to see me.

"Jasmine? What are you doing in my room? And wow, what are you wearing?" He asked, his voice husky when he saw me.

"Don't you like what you see?" I asked in a low seductive voice but he groaned.

His eyes fixed on mine refusing to look further.

"Can you stop? I'm not ready for all this," he scolded softly, his eyes still fixed on mine.

"Liam," I called his name trying to sound seductive as i pulled him closer to me.

"Am i not beautiful? Don't you like what am wearing?" I asked him, trying to tempt him.

"You are beautiful, Jasmine but this is too much," he sighed, his eyes filled with a mix of longing and resistance.

"We are married, Liam. I want to make you feel good, I want to take away your stress," I whispered into his ear.

He drew in a deep breath and stepped away from me. He turned his back on me and focused on his phone.

I felt a pang of rejection and tears filled my eyes.

"I hate you, Liam," I said, my voice trembling. "You will never find someone who will love you like I do," I added and left the room.

He rejected me for the second time and it hurts so much. I needed someone to talk to so I called my brother.

"My favorite sister," he said cheerfully. "I'm your only sister, dummy," I said and he chuckled.

"How are you doing and how is your husband treating you?" He asked.

"Liam doesn't want anything to do with me, Alex. He is so in love with Rachel," I muttered in a shaky voice, my chest tightened in pain.

"Why did you say that?" He asked again.

"I tried to seduce him. He didn't even look at me, twice. Rachel has put a spell on him," I complained.

"There's no spell anywhere, Jasmine. You just have to try harder," he advised and I sighed.

"I don't know what to do anymore, Alex. Your best friend is hard to please," I said.

"I have a plan," he pointed out and I sat properly to hear it.

"How about we hire someone to be your fake boyfriend?" He suggested.

"Do you think that will work?" I asked.

"Trust me, it will. If he gets jealous that means he has feelings for you but he is just hiding it," he replied.

"I hope this plan works," I said. "It will work, Jasmine," he assured me and I smiled.

"Who do you have in mind?" I asked and he was quiet for sometime.

"I think Alfred will be the better person for this job," he finally replied and I was happy with his response.

Alfred Fernando, our former Italian chef. Everything about Alfred screams handsomeness and sexiness.

I could remember him vividly, his broad chest, sexy eyes and the way he speaks with his Italian accent.

"Perfect, he would be intimidated when he sees Alfred," I giggled feeling a bit mischievous.

"I'm glad you are happy now. I will call Alfred and he will be there tomorrow," he assured me.

"Thank you so much, brother. I can't wait to see the look on Liam's face tomorrow," I grinned.

"Keep me updated, talk to you later, " he said before hanging up.

"I will do anything to have you, Liam west," I muttered quietly with a smile on my face.
