Jasmine's pov
I dozed off on the couch and didn't get a good rest so I woke up feeling exhausted.
After freshing up in the shower, I got ready in the other room. I wore a stylish blue high waisted skirt and a white crop top.
I straightened my hair and added a eyeliner to define my features. My mouth curved in a smile when I caught a glimpse of myself in the mirror.
I looked beautiful, I snapped a few mirror selfies and took a deep breath to mentally prepare myself for the day ahead.
I went downstairs to look for something to eat. Alex was in the kitchen, he wore shorts and a white shirt with apron on his neck.
"Good morning Jasmine," he said to me with a smile. I raised a curious brow and he chuckled nervously.
"I prepared breakfast for us," he added as he served the food. My mouth watered at the sight of the bacon and eggs.
He removed his apron and pulled the chair for me to sit. I sat and he did the same.
I was amazed at his sudden cheerful spirit. I had a foodgasm when I tasted the food.
"You like it?" He asked and I nodded. We both ate our food quietly. I packed the plates to the sink after eating.
"Why didn't you go to work today?" I asked him. "They expect me to be with my wife celebrating my honeymoon," he replied.
I smiled at the thought of that. He would be at home to witness all the drama with Alfred.
"I'm sorry about yesterday, Jasmine," he apologized and I smiled at him.
He was confused, he raised a curious brow looking at me suspiciously. "Are you planning something?" He asked.
I held my hands in defense. "Why did you ask?" I questioned and he shrugged.
"The way you are behaving today is creepy," he said and I laughed. "I'm just happy," I replied.
"Jasmine, I know you. You are up to no good," he said. "Are you scared?" I asked and his eyes roamed all over my body.
I smirked when his eyes held mine. I caught him checking me out and I liked the feeling.
"Why should I be scared of you?" He asked mockingly. I walked closer to him and pushed myself to him.
His eyes darkened and I could feel the heat radiating off his body. I wanted him to take me right there.
"Because you will fall and there will be no one to pick you up," I whispered and he held my waist.
The feeling of his hand on my waist made me shiver and my mind clouded with a lot of dirty thoughts.
We stared into each other's eyes and he traced my face with his hands. His breath became heavier and my heart raced in anticipation.
I couldn't wait to feel his lips on mine. His lips came closer and I pushed him away all of a sudden.
I forgot the plans and let my desires take over. I wanted to make him wait and beg for my love.
"Jasmine," he called my name, barely a whisper. I didn't say anything and he sighed in frustration.
He walked closer to me but stopped when the door bell rang. I smiled knowing Alfred was at the door.
"Are you expecting anyone?" He asked and I nodded. I went to the door and hugged Alfred when I saw him.
Alfred and I used to be close friends. He was one of my favorite staffs, forty years old yet he looked twenty.
"Hey babe," Alfred said in a low and seductive voice. His eyes glistened mischievously.
"I missed you so much, love. This is a surprise, why didn't you tell me you were coming?" I asked him with a pout.
I stepped aside for him to come inside. Liam stared at us in confusion.
"I wanted to surprise you, baby," he replied and wrapped his arms round my waist.
When he stopped working for us, he became an actor and he is a good one. Alex has explained everything to him and I loved his act already.
He placed his lips to the corner of my cheeks.
Our lips were close but we didn't kiss. From Liam's perspective, he would think we were kissing.
I waited impatiently for Liam's reaction. I faked moaned and that triggered Liam.
He yanked me away from Alfred's arms. His eyes darkened in anger, he held my hand possessively.
"How dare you come into my house and kiss my wife?" He asked Alfred, his voice stern.
"She is my girlfriend," Alfred replied him with a smirk on his face. Liam turned to me with a frown on his face.
"You have a boyfriend?" He asked me and I nodded.
"Jasmine, are you serious? This has to be a joke," he shook his head in disbelief.
"I'm her boyfriend from London. I came here to see her and I know your marriage is fake," Alfred said as he locked his eyes with mine.
"Our marriage is not fake, you fool. I love my wife and she loves me too so get lost," Liam half yelled.
Jealousy was written all over him and I smiled. The way he said he loves me warmed my heart.
I knew he was saying that to scare Alfred away but i was happy he cared enough to do that.
"Babe, let's go to the hotel to talk. I don't want your fake husband interrupting us," Alfred said and stepped further to grab my hand.
Liam stood in front of me and slapt Alfred's hand away. "Get out," he said angrily.
"Liam, don't throw him out," I muttered and he gave me a scrowl.
"She is mine and mine alone. I won't share my wife with anyone so leave," he ordered Alfred.
"What if I don't leave? What are you going to do about that?" Alfred challenged him.
Liam grabbed Alfred roughly and pushed him outside the house. I smiled at his reaction, Alex's plan worked.
My legs trembled when he turned to me with anger written all over his face.
