"I never said that I would protect this kingdom"

"Hey, didn't you hear, without our help a lot of people will die." The spikey redhead, Chris said.

"People will die regardless, so what?"

Chris flinched "How can you say that with a straight face?! Do you have no compassion?"

Ken rested his left hand on the katana and continued in his low soft voice "Compassion won't save lives, you're just digging yourself an early grave"

"Y-You-"

Ken interrupted Chris and snorted coldly "Are you even trained in combat? Do you have any experience on a battlefield? Have you killed someone?"

Hearing these words not only Chris, but all four of the high schoolers also flinched.

Seeing the motivation of the four dwindle the king chimed in quickly "We will train all of you. I will have the best knights the kingdom has to offer. Additionally, we will teach you the ways of this world and give you meals and somewhere to sleep while you prepare for your adventures."

"How about everyone just think everything over." this time it was the queen who spoke. She had a gentle smile on her face.

"Ah... Yes I think that's a good idea" said the blond high school girl, Bella.

"Y-yea let's just do that" Leo agreed

Auria didn't say anything she just nodded her head.

"Very well the maids will escort you to your rooms" said the king

Walking out of the giant room Chris looked at Ken one last time and glared at him then followed the group of high schoolers out behind the maids.

Left inside the by himself was Ken.

"So what's your name boy?" asked the king, at this point his happy smile was replaced with a stern expression. Even the Queen was now frowning.

Ken looked at the king and queen duo, he knew that this whole thing was a facade. He didn't say anything, instead, he grabbed the handle of his two sheathed katanas on each side of his waist and looked at all the guards and mages in the room who was glaring at him. Even in this predicament, Ken had a bored look on his face.

Seeing Ken's calmness and silence the Queen was shocked, 'For a young boy to keep his composure in this situation, this boy is definitely different from the summoned children before."

The King did not miss Ken holding his swords, and asked "I've been meaning to ask this but where did you come from? It's obvious you were not brought here from the same place the other came from."

"Why would I answer you when you've done nothing but spout lies since I've been here"

The queen answered instead "We have spoken no lies. We do indeed need the heroes strength to defeat the demon king"

"I'm sure that's not all though" said ken in his usual soft spoken voice.

"Yes you are right. We need the heroes help with something else as well"

The King looked towards his wife "Elaine are you sure you want to tell him..." he glanced back towards Ken "he seems untrustworthy"

"No it's because he is not as naive as the others that we should tell him. I'm sure he can handle it."

The queen then asked everyone except for the 12 mages to leave.

{Other Summoned POV}

"Dammit, that guy is annoying!" Chris and the others were sitting in a room with four other queen size beds.

"Well I can't lie... He was saying some truths" said Bella as she looked out of the window of the room.

"Tch that guy should not have been summoned here, he's nothing like a hero!"

"And we are? I agree with that guy, although he said it bluntly it true that this isn't our problem." said Auria with her arms crossed.

"Auria who side are you on?!"

"I'm not on anyone's side I'm just stating facts. We are nothing but kids who were kidnapped"

Chris frowned but didn't say anything. Even he knew that everything Ken was saying was something he could not argue with.

Y-yea and I don't know if I can kill anyone..." Leo said looking towards the ground.

It was quiet for a minute then Bella asked "where is he from anyway? He doesn't seem like he came from our world."

"Yeah that's true he looks like someone out of a martial arts webnovel" said Leo as he giggled

"Yea he even had swords..."

{Ken POV}

"So you want me to kill the heroes of other kingdoms?" asked Ken nonchalantly

"Yes and when you are finished I promise to send you to the 'Earth' world that you want to visit." replied the queen with a smile.

After talking with the king and queen Ken found out that he and the other teens were not the only ones summoned to this world. In other kingdoms there were others who were summoned to fight the demon king. But that was only the explanation for the public, in reality, they were building there forces to take over other kingdoms. This caused the Altia kingdom to do the same so that the balance of power was not against them. And the Queen brought up that she would send them back to earth if they completed their mission, which made Ken curious about if he could go back there as well. Which the Queen confirmed.

"You know I could just kill you and go there on my own"

The King and all the mages looked at Ken cautiously. But the Queen's smile never left her face. "You can't use the device if even one of the royalty died. But a innocent child like you wouldn't do that would you? Besides your a hero after all."

Casually in his low voice, Ken responded "Alright ill kill these other heroes..." he paused and looked towards the king and queen and released a high killing intent, the light began blinking as if they were about to go out and everyone in the room coughed up blood and fell to their knees.

"But, if your lying... Im going to kill all of you and massacre this kingdom."

Everyone, even the Queen was sweating profusely "O-of course! So please..."

Ken stopped his killing intent and everyone felt like the world was lifted off their shoulders.

"Angus call a maid to escort Sir Ken to his room"

The mage, Angus, bowed to the Queen but his shivering never stopped "Yes your Majesty!"

Once they were sure Ken had left the room the king sighed
