Mark, who is Max's family doctor, knew everything from the beginning, but he thought it was not his place to tell Max. However, when Nelly visited his hospital again for a pregnancy test, Mark decided that he would not inform Nelly about her pregnancy results but instead, inform Max because he didn't want to be unfair to his friend. He knew how much Max wanted to have children. That's why Max was the first to know before Nelly. I hope this answers your question, and thank you once again for reading my story and leaving a review.
