The beginning reminded me a lot of Bungou Stray Dogs, but it gets really different. For one, the MC is much more powerful. Kind of. The writing has a few grammatical errors, but it isn't anything the average reader wouldn't be able to understand. Updates are consistent and the story is already flowing. The character design and abilities are interesting. There's already a !interesting! dynamic between the MC and his foil, so readers should be on the lookout for that. The world design so far looks fairly logical, but there is still more than enough room for the author to throw in twists. Its a great start!
The writing quality is much better than most webnovels on the side. 5 Recently, it seems to be daily update, but I can see that in the past it has been more erratic. I'll give the benefit of the doubt and assume the author will continue this trend. 5 The story development is already there after just a few chapters. However, there still needs to be more to make a final decision. 4 The character designs and names are all well thought out and maintain immersion in the novel. 5 The world background is adequately interesting. Since its not a generic isekai or system or whatever, there can be potentially a lot to dive into here. 5
As of review: 3 chapters. Writing Quality: There are very few grammatical errors. 5 Updates: So far, consistent releases. 5 Story Development: There isn't much to work with here yet, so I will leave it as a 4. However, it is heading in a great direction. Character Design: Though I have to say that the main character not being OP is a bit of a stretch, it is a fact that she can't just solve problems by flicking her fingers. Very nice. 5 World Background: The synopsis immediately reminds me of "My Next Life as a Villainess: All Routes Lead to Doom!" but it is nothing like that. In fact, I'd go as far as to say its heading in its own direction, and that's a good thing. 5
Writing Quality: The writing in the beginning seems a like it is a bit unstable and needs proofreading, but by the current chapter the situation has improved a lot.5. Stability of Updates: every 2 days it seems: 5. Story Development: Lots of crazy things happen. You'll need to read it yourself to find out. 5. Character Design: For a romance novel, the some of the characters manage to break the mold in a good way. It makes the story development more interesting to read as well. However, I feel like the writing style sometimes does not pair well with the first person style of writing. There could be some improvement in making the main character's personality come out more in the narration. 4. World Background: The world isn't as interesting because it's a romance novel. Though this is made up by the good character design, by itself it is a 3.
Chapters out as of review: 1 Writing Quality: It could use a little more proofreading. I can still read it, but if you run it through a grammar tool it can flow much better. 3 Stability of updates: 1 chapter so I will give it 4 Story Development: It's 13 Reasons why: 4 Character Design: Characters are a lot more spicy than 13 Reasons why, and that's a good thing: 5 World Background: 5 World Background
The grammar isn't perfect, but its far from being unreadable: 4. There is only 1 chapter at the time of the review, so I cannot give a meaningful score there: 3. The story development is also a multi-chapter aspect, but the first chapter leaves a lot of room for plot lines and character development: 5. The character design for the main character is interesting, but I would have liked to see a bit more of An Ai before she got rolled:4. The background and power system seems pretty cool: 5.
Honest Review: I'm not one for romance novels, but this one is genuinely intriguing. The writing is very nice, which is refreshing when you look at how many novels there are with bad grammar on this site. In the beginning the dialogue leaves a bit to be desired, but the author steadily builds the characters. Overall, it is a very promising book.
