He probably wasn't even running anything. He is so dumb he most likely just gave the handling of control and whatnot to some rando in his sect as he continued to cultivate. Or,,, h ejust straight up only controled the sect not a single thing else... or perhaps his management skill are quite significantly better than his IQ? After all his sect hasnt gotten completely and utterly destroyed before this so called rabid human apocalypse

yes, that exactly what you said, but in the thing it says that it is its own species. so that means they are different from anything else. The way you are saying it is like, a bird is basically a dog. because they both have legs.
