Then again nen and aura in this have some similarities. I think RWBY aura hasnt been explained with that im trying to add depth to the power system.

It's just a superpower shown in most media where you can go above your limits as of that time. It is the power to transcendence everything about yourself(like a shit Saiyan) for RWBY it would affect in the most boiled-down version mental, physical, and existential.
